actor Rick Mayle has died suddenly at the age of 56. | :00:00. | :00:12.
Good evening, welcome to Monday s Look North On tonight's programme ` | :00:13. | :00:15.
The Yorkshire family demandhng tighter regulation of onlind | :00:16. | :00:17.
gambling, after their father racked up debts of more than ?50,000. | :00:18. | :00:20.
If gambling is a problem, it is not just a better phone. `` a bht of | :00:21. | :00:27.
fun. With the World Cup fast approaching | :00:28. | :00:29.
many of us will be betting, we ask an expert why people get dr`wn in. | :00:30. | :00:33.
Also tonight: Sheffield's long`awaited city centre | :00:34. | :00:35.
shopping development will go ahead after the council steps in. | :00:36. | :00:38.
And have you seen the faces appearing in fields high in the | :00:39. | :00:41.
Pennines? We reveal what's going on. This was because Lee this afternoon, | :00:42. | :00:47.
very lively conditions indedd, what about this week? Join me for this | :00:48. | :00:49.
full forecast coming up shortly The family of a Sheffield m`n who | :00:50. | :01:00.
amassed an online gambling debt of the industry. David | :01:01. | :01:09.
Bradford was eventually jailed from his employer, re`mortg`ging | :01:10. | :01:11.
his home and taking out bank loans to try to repay his debts ` all | :01:12. | :01:15.
without his family's knowledge. But first, Tom Ingall | :01:16. | :01:19.
has this report. Once, it was the preserve of | :01:20. | :01:27.
the high street and the bingo hall. Nowadays, for a quick fluttdr or | :01:28. | :01:30.
a serious wager, we can pick up It's officially called remote | :01:31. | :01:34.
gambling, but this man knows the effects it can have | :01:35. | :01:38.
are anything but. If you just search anywhere | :01:39. | :01:40.
on the internet, you can find Adam Bradford's father has just gone | :01:41. | :01:43.
to prison after stealing ?50,00 from his work | :01:44. | :01:48.
on remortgaging the family home from his work | :01:49. | :01:53.
and remortgaging the family home, One of the things we have ldarned | :01:54. | :01:55.
very quickly since this all came to light is people who have a gambling | :01:56. | :02:01.
addiction or any problem like that He has not told us anything about | :02:02. | :02:05.
it, he has not said a word `bout it. And he was a very good fathdr, | :02:06. | :02:11.
a real family man. Figures for new accounts | :02:12. | :02:14.
being opened with online gambling providdrs tell | :02:15. | :02:15.
their own story. In 2010`2011, | :02:16. | :02:17.
it was 3.31 million, rising to just under 4 millhon to | :02:18. | :02:20.
now 4.5 million a year. In total, it's believed there | :02:21. | :02:24.
are 16.5 million accounts open, That is, they'd been used | :02:25. | :02:28.
in the last 12 months. Earlier today, | :02:29. | :02:34.
I spoke to these people, They are essentially a voluntary | :02:35. | :02:36.
trade group for the companids that They told me | :02:37. | :02:41.
the social responsibility mdasures in place for online gambling are | :02:42. | :02:46.
extensive, but they admit problem gambling | :02:47. | :02:48.
is a complex area and they would never suggest | :02:49. | :02:51.
improvements could not be m`de. They told me on their website | :02:52. | :02:54.
about some of the things th`t offer support to people who think they | :02:55. | :02:58.
might have a problem, like online forums and the ability to exclude | :02:59. | :03:01.
yourself from certain websites. But they do say they are in constant | :03:02. | :03:04.
touch with the regulators and academics to identify any new | :03:05. | :03:07.
initiatives that might help. I do know that it was his choice to | :03:08. | :03:13.
do what he did and he did obviously have some other issues, and I think | :03:14. | :03:18.
that, really, more needs to be done to get the message out therd that | :03:19. | :03:22.
gambling is actually a problem, Adam didn't realise he was losing | :03:23. | :03:25.
a father to gambling It's the inspiration | :03:26. | :03:31.
for his campaign. Adam joins us now, and in the studio | :03:32. | :03:45.
in Salford, Doctor Hughes, from the University of Leeds, an expdrt in | :03:46. | :03:49.
online gambling. Adam, if wd can start with you, I was speakhng with | :03:50. | :03:53.
you and your mother before the programme and it is clear this has | :03:54. | :03:56.
devastated your family. Tell us about the campaign you are starting. | :03:57. | :04:02.
On the back of what has happened to my dad, I want to speak out more | :04:03. | :04:07.
about what is done, and I know myself is what he has done hs | :04:08. | :04:10.
managed to rack up that account and go to another and another and I have | :04:11. | :04:14.
seen holds where things could really be patched up. I've also bedn much | :04:15. | :04:22.
more, had my eyes opened to the market of it, and he saw it as a way | :04:23. | :04:28.
to make money and I really want to put the message out there. This is | :04:29. | :04:37.
very brave of you to speak out, why are you doing? I think I nedd to do | :04:38. | :04:45.
it for my own family, we ard not the only ones, though, and I want to see | :04:46. | :04:48.
the Government and the gambling companies, who my dad spent all of | :04:49. | :04:53.
this money on, to say, yes, we have a social responsibility and we are | :04:54. | :04:57.
going to take it more seriotsly Let's bring in Doctor Hughes. How | :04:58. | :05:01.
big a problem do think this is, how many people like David have we got? | :05:02. | :05:07.
We are not actually quite stre about how many people are involved in | :05:08. | :05:15.
Internet gambling. Out of those we are not sure how many peopld have | :05:16. | :05:20.
problems and feel they are `ddicted, or that their Internet gambling is | :05:21. | :05:24.
causing problems for their families, but it is very significant. Isn t | :05:25. | :05:28.
there a fairly straightforw`rd solution? When I or anybody else | :05:29. | :05:33.
applies for a credit card, we get credit checked. Why can't wd have a | :05:34. | :05:36.
gambling check as well? Surdly that is the way to solve these problems? | :05:37. | :05:43.
One of the real viewers and appeals of Internet gambling is its | :05:44. | :05:50.
anonymity, so it is very difficult to track who is involved in Internet | :05:51. | :05:57.
gambling. So in order to establish those credit checks, you wotld need | :05:58. | :06:02.
to be able to identify who hs involved, and it may actually be | :06:03. | :06:09.
that some people are able to play online, but for a significant number | :06:10. | :06:15.
of people, actually, it movds from playing to significant problems that | :06:16. | :06:19.
have these devastating impacts on family and obviously on the | :06:20. | :06:27.
camber's I live. `` the camber's live. Do you think tighter | :06:28. | :06:30.
regulations would have stopped your dad going as far as he did? I | :06:31. | :06:36.
couldn't say, the regulation may help, but the market is another | :06:37. | :06:39.
issue, the way it appeals to people and that is then to my dad, would he | :06:40. | :06:44.
have done it, would he not? It seems like he needed the money, btt I | :06:45. | :06:47.
think people shouldn't be looking to gambling for the option. Both of | :06:48. | :06:55.
you, thank you for joining ts. It is the biggest county in England | :06:56. | :06:59.
and renowned for its beauty, but North Yorkshire is also the worst | :07:00. | :07:04.
place in the country for rule crime. The police force there is looking at | :07:05. | :07:10.
new ways of dealing with crhme to prevent wrongdoing in remotd areas. | :07:11. | :07:13.
It's a weekday evening on the outskirts of Richmond. | :07:14. | :07:17.
Police here are joining forces with farmers and residents | :07:18. | :07:19.
Tonight, they're patrolling the countryside together. | :07:20. | :07:26.
Isolated areas which locals here know even better | :07:27. | :07:28.
They know the nooks and crannies and where these locations are. | :07:29. | :07:33.
You can probably just highlhght to them what crime trends are occurring | :07:34. | :07:36.
at the time and they will probably look bit more with that information. | :07:37. | :07:42.
They can give us information about something that's happdned | :07:43. | :07:44.
John Hindmarch is one of five locals who joined tonight's | :07:45. | :07:50.
He's lived in the countryside all his life and is one of | :07:51. | :07:57.
a growing number beginning to take a stance against the criminal gangs. | :07:58. | :08:01.
You can either sit at home and let these people commit | :08:02. | :08:04.
their crimes or you can try and do something about it. | :08:05. | :08:14.
I think there's a lot of criminals in the area who are | :08:15. | :08:17.
repeat offenders and they know who we are, but we know who thex are. | :08:18. | :08:21.
I think that makes a huge difference. | :08:22. | :08:23.
Around a third of those who commit rural crime in | :08:24. | :08:26.
North Yorkshire will have travelled here from surrounding counthes. | :08:27. | :08:28.
Tonight, though, police are on the lookout for any | :08:29. | :08:30.
unusual cross`border activity, with automatic number plate | :08:31. | :08:32.
recognition being used to alert them to any suspicious vehicles. | :08:33. | :08:35.
And the partnership between police and locals is proving effective | :08:36. | :08:38.
The countryside is no longer seen here as an easy target. | :08:39. | :08:55.
Look North later, the Yorkshire company looking to beat the French | :08:56. | :09:00.
at their own game. Plans to transform shopping | :09:01. | :09:04.
in Sheffield will happen, The city has been waiting | :09:05. | :09:06.
for a new shopping area for over a decade ` but now funding hs being | :09:07. | :09:10.
put in place to make it happen. Plans to transform parts | :09:11. | :09:15.
of Sheffield city centre They took shape when developer | :09:16. | :09:30.
Hammerson came on board and named the ?400 million scheme | :09:31. | :09:34.
Sevenstone in 2007. But delays and the economic | :09:35. | :09:37.
downturn put the project on hold. With no firm date for it to be | :09:38. | :09:40.
built, the council parted company Today, the council has reve`led that | :09:41. | :09:43.
the development of this area is now firmly back | :09:44. | :09:47.
on the agenda. James Vincent joins | :09:48. | :09:49.
us from Sheffield city centre now. James, | :09:50. | :09:52.
tell us what's been said today. We have had three world cups since | :09:53. | :10:02.
this was introduced. They w`nted to demolish large swathes of the City | :10:03. | :10:07.
centre, creating a new shopping centre and it could never gdt off | :10:08. | :10:11.
the ground. You can see the derelict buildings are still here wahting to | :10:12. | :10:14.
be demolished, including thd old grows and it could never get off the | :10:15. | :10:17.
ground. You can see the derdlict buildings are still here wahting to | :10:18. | :10:19.
be demolished, including thd old grows in of the credit crunch, | :10:20. | :10:24.
parting company with the orhginal developers, going it alone, telling | :10:25. | :10:29.
us they are going to take a ?60 million loan to make sure these | :10:30. | :10:31.
compulsory purchase orders happen and they can demolish these | :10:32. | :10:34.
buildings and effectively start again in Sheffield City centre. What | :10:35. | :10:39.
they have been saying today is it will happen. People in Sheffield | :10:40. | :10:43.
probably don't think it will after 13 years. They say it well `nd it's | :10:44. | :10:47.
the biggest projects they h`ve got going on in the City. It sotnds | :10:48. | :10:49.
promising. We're trying to recreate a vibrant, | :10:50. | :10:51.
dynamic city centre with, you know, not just shops and bars but also the | :10:52. | :10:55.
office developments and so on and everything that comes with that | :10:56. | :10:58.
from a lower base than other cities. And to allow us to compete on | :10:59. | :11:02.
a level laying field with the other cities, this scheme is crithcal to | :11:03. | :11:06.
helping us achieve that. So I think it is probably | :11:07. | :11:08.
the most important project It sounds promising, when whll it | :11:09. | :11:24.
all happen? They want to get a developer on board by the end of the | :11:25. | :11:27.
year, a tight timescale and they wanted the demolishing to start next | :11:28. | :11:33.
year. They also wanted finished by 2019. Someone said to be thd people | :11:34. | :11:36.
Sheffield to not think it whll happen until they start construction | :11:37. | :11:40.
and demolition of these buildings. But after 13 years, I don't think | :11:41. | :11:44.
they will think it has happdned until they are at the shops putting | :11:45. | :11:46.
their pin number in the till. Firefighters have spent | :11:47. | :11:48.
the day dealing with a largd blaze which started at Thirsk Indtstrial | :11:49. | :11:51.
Estate early this morning. They were called to Todd Waste | :11:52. | :11:54.
management just after five o'clock. Around 150,000 tonnes | :11:55. | :11:56.
of household waste went up, but none of it is thought | :11:57. | :11:59.
to be toxic. About half of the 40 firefighters | :12:00. | :12:01.
have now been called away, but the blaze is expected to | :12:02. | :12:04.
smoulder for the next few d`ys. There was a major fire | :12:05. | :12:07.
at the same plant three years ago. Support staff at a school | :12:08. | :12:16.
in Rotherham for children with special ndeds have | :12:17. | :12:18.
been on strike today over concerns surrounding the staff recruhtment | :12:19. | :12:21.
process, and health and safdty. Members of the GMB union sax student | :12:22. | :12:24.
behaviour at Abbey School, near Rotherham, has been very poor since | :12:25. | :12:27.
a restructuring earlier this year. They say this along with | :12:28. | :12:30.
the current recruitment process The school says it's continting | :12:31. | :12:33.
negotiations, and that it's committed to providing outstanding | :12:34. | :12:37.
provision for Abbey's students. Malaysian police have denied reports | :12:38. | :12:41.
that Yorkshire backpacker Gareth Huntley was involved | :12:42. | :12:43.
in a fight before he went mhssing Mr Huntley's body was found last | :12:44. | :12:46.
week, eight days after he sdt off It was reported that he may be have | :12:47. | :12:50.
been murdered, and there were claims Police say they now believe | :12:51. | :12:56.
those reports were incorrect. Police are investigating after | :12:57. | :13:06.
vandals broke into a childrdn's farm attraction in Esholt near Shipley, | :13:07. | :13:08.
setting free some of the anhmals Animal pens were damaged at | :13:09. | :13:11.
St Leanord's Farm Park, and some rare breeds are sthll | :13:12. | :13:15.
missing. The farm's owner thinks it was | :13:16. | :13:17.
all part They have gone into a field, | :13:18. | :13:19.
they have ripped down the fdnces and then they have got into | :13:20. | :13:28.
a field and chased the deer around. I don't know | :13:29. | :13:32.
if the deer has escaped or they have taken the deer away, there have | :13:33. | :13:35.
been reports of a muntjac dder The first batch of toolmakers picked | :13:36. | :13:56.
up their clothes today near Leeds, based on the success of those in the | :13:57. | :14:00.
London Olympics. Their jobs will range from pointing out the route to | :14:01. | :14:04.
where the toilets, but mostly, they will smile be happy. | :14:05. | :14:08.
I really wanted to get involved with the London Olympics, | :14:09. | :14:12.
but didn't have the opportunity so when this came up, I looked at | :14:13. | :14:16.
the chance and I'm so excitdd that I'd chosen to be part of it all | :14:17. | :14:20.
I volunteered in the past the London 2012 and I that. | :14:21. | :14:23.
Obviously, I am from Harrog`te, so it is on my doorstep, | :14:24. | :14:26.
I volunteered in the past for London 2012 and I enjoyed that. | :14:27. | :14:30.
Obviously, I am from Harrog`te, so it is on my doorstep, | :14:31. | :14:33.
It is the first time I have done this sort | :14:34. | :14:37.
of thing and the main thing is, 2,000 people, all doing simhlar | :14:38. | :14:41.
And keeping on that theme, xou have heard about calls to Newcastle but | :14:42. | :14:47.
what about cheese to French? Just days after this man's Wes w`s | :14:48. | :14:52.
sampled by royalty at the D`Day celebrations in Paris, Samudl | :14:53. | :14:55.
Valentines from Allerton Bywater have got their first order from | :14:56. | :14:59.
across the Channel. He is otr business correspondent. | :15:00. | :15:07.
This year's French Eurovision entry asks "what is missing"? Chedse may | :15:08. | :15:14.
not be an obvious answer but what about a nice Wensleydale fl`voured | :15:15. | :15:17.
with `` flavoured with Wakefield rhubarb. It is one of the cheese is | :15:18. | :15:22.
taking Paris by storm. Todax, we have come in and look at thd | :15:23. | :15:26.
computer and the first female is in order to send cheese to Parhs in | :15:27. | :15:32.
France. `` the first e`mail. It may be Colston Newcastle but we are | :15:33. | :15:36.
having a go. The order comes just days after the cheeses were served | :15:37. | :15:41.
at the D`Day celebrations in Paris, attended by the Queen. This is the | :15:42. | :15:45.
Duke of Wellington cheese that we created, would you like your taste? | :15:46. | :15:50.
This is the point where the reporter would usually tasted, but I don t | :15:51. | :15:57.
like cheese, so, Brian? There we go. Thank you. The big push for French | :15:58. | :16:05.
buyers was triggered when Yorkshire won the grand apart and even though | :16:06. | :16:09.
they are almost 12 miles off the race route, they have made the most | :16:10. | :16:12.
of the possibilities. We were thinking, what have can we lake of | :16:13. | :16:19.
this, but we thought we would do a cheese tour, we have toured the | :16:20. | :16:24.
train towns and cities that have roots: Red Yorkshire and it | :16:25. | :16:29.
snowballed from there, we h`ve heard a lot of opportunity but it has been | :16:30. | :16:33.
hard work. You only get that what you put into it. We wanted to | :16:34. | :16:39.
springboard and sell more abroad and exporter and we see this as a market | :16:40. | :16:43.
for Yorkshire produce and particularly Yorkshire cheese and, | :16:44. | :16:47.
who knows, we might even be selling pork pies over there. Would this | :16:48. | :16:52.
business have sold cheese to the French without the Tour de France? | :16:53. | :16:57.
We don't know but what we do know without the cycle race is they would | :16:58. | :17:02.
never have attempted it. This would have been a great idea to | :17:03. | :17:07.
try the cheese but she didn't think to bring us any. | :17:08. | :17:12.
Mind you, I think the camer`man ate it all. | :17:13. | :17:15.
If you want more information about the Tour de France and you tse | :17:16. | :17:19.
Twitter, we have a brand`new service. You can find all of the | :17:20. | :17:23.
latest links about the Tour de France in Yorkshire. | :17:24. | :17:26.
Coming up, have you noticed anything odd going on in a field near you? We | :17:27. | :17:31.
reveal why some rather strange shapes are appearing high in the | :17:32. | :17:32.
Pennines. Let's get the sport now, thd | :17:33. | :17:43.
greatest catchable time on Friday night. It was on the boundary, he | :17:44. | :17:49.
dived up and caught it just as it was about to go over and it would | :17:50. | :17:54.
have been six and he threw ht back. Nearly as good as Gary Ball`nce a | :17:55. | :18:00.
year ago. That is what they do in the rugby | :18:01. | :18:06.
league, which is where I st`rt. Leeds will play Warrington `nd | :18:07. | :18:09.
Castleford will play witness in the Challenge Cup semifinals. The rhinos | :18:10. | :18:13.
huffed and puffed but eventtally got through. It was the Tigers who stole | :18:14. | :18:17.
the headlines, they were magnificent in knocking out the holders Wigan at | :18:18. | :18:18.
Wigan. Cas have got their class back, | :18:19. | :18:23.
this should be good. But there is | :18:24. | :18:27.
a question mark hanging over. And into the corner goes | :18:28. | :18:43.
James Clapper. A bit of controversy | :18:44. | :18:57.
leading up to the try. And into the corner goes | :18:58. | :18:59.
James Clare. A bit of controversy | :19:00. | :19:01.
leading up to the try. Driving it over, | :19:02. | :19:04.
but I don't think he's got ht down. Bell finally finds a weakness | :19:05. | :19:09.
in the Castleford line. What a pass, | :19:10. | :19:19.
and what about that try? What an unbelievable effort | :19:20. | :19:30.
in the second half. I thought we were by far | :19:31. | :19:41.
and away the better team in the first half, but second half, | :19:42. | :19:44.
to have to defend arrow in line like in the first half, but second half, | :19:45. | :19:48.
to have to defend our own lhne like we did was unbelievable and to then | :19:49. | :19:52.
hold and finish in the end, it was We knew it was going to be tough, | :19:53. | :19:56.
as all cup games are, but here against Wigan, | :19:57. | :20:03.
the champions, it was outst`nding. You have surprised people all | :20:04. | :20:06.
season, how much you think this I don't know about rock the world, | :20:07. | :20:09.
but We have competed pretty well | :20:10. | :20:12.
against the top sides. You have eventually | :20:13. | :20:16.
got to beat them. We are pretty happy we have won | :20:17. | :20:18.
that game, we are excited. Leeds Rhinos' Zac Hardaker could | :20:19. | :20:27.
miss up to eight matches after making a homophobic | :20:28. | :20:29.
comment. It's alleged to have happened during the defeat to | :20:30. | :20:32.

at Headingley earlier on ` it's really not been | :20:59. | :21:01.
the best weather for cricket. The rain has also claimed tonight's | :21:02. | :21:02.

World taekwondo champion Sarah Stevenson has been aw`rded | :21:48. | :21:53.
the Freedom of Doncaster. Sarah was | :21:54. | :21:54.
the first woman to represent Great Britain in Taekwondo `t | :21:55. | :21:57.
the Olympics in Sydney before also competing in Athens and Beijing | :21:58. | :22:01.
She later led the GB team at London 2012 and now coaches the Olxmpic | :22:02. | :22:03.
squad. Today, she was presented with | :22:04. | :22:05.
a hand painted scroll at a special ceremony. | :22:06. | :22:07.
I started my career when I was seven years old and I never imagined I | :22:08. | :22:12.
would be standing here with the biggest honour I could ever have. I | :22:13. | :22:16.
have one a lot and I have got the MBE from the Queen, but the Queen | :22:17. | :22:21.
doesn't know me. Doncaster knows me and it feel so special and close to | :22:22. | :22:25.
my heart to be back home and receiving the award. Much ddserved | :22:26. | :22:31.
as well. Thank you very much, Tanya. Now, what do artists, young farmers | :22:32. | :22:36.
and the Tour de France have in common? | :22:37. | :22:39.
Art in a field. Good guess. It is art on an epic | :22:40. | :22:44.
scale, with fields used as canvases and will be found across thd South | :22:45. | :22:45.
Pennines. At first, you don't know | :22:46. | :22:48.
what you're looking at. The trick, like any view, | :22:49. | :22:51.
is the right vantage point. One Man And His Dog, | :22:52. | :22:54.
by Simon Manfield, is one of 12 landscape artworks dotted | :22:55. | :23:02.
along La Tour's day two route. The whole project is called | :23:03. | :23:05.
Fields Of Vision, The Big Bad Wolf was the idda | :23:06. | :23:07.
of nine`year`old Bobby Batch. This project is | :23:08. | :23:15.
an amazing opportunity for people to We are giving artists the | :23:16. | :23:17.
opportunity to make great bhg works, Some of these pieces are bigger | :23:18. | :23:22.
than anybody else has done. So we have a chance to show what | :23:23. | :23:27.
this landscape looks like and what it looks like when it got | :23:28. | :23:32.
fantastic artworks in it. It has taken blood, sweat | :23:33. | :23:35.
and tears to make the work, as I found out by joining cyclists making | :23:36. | :23:39.
the outline of a dancer on ` wet After a confident start, thd mud | :23:40. | :23:43.
and gradient got the upper hand It is still making a line, | :23:44. | :23:56.
I am still taking part. When you are stood in the fheld | :23:57. | :23:59.
the lines you are making sedm completely wrong, compared to | :24:00. | :24:04.
the drawing you're looking `t. But when you step away, | :24:05. | :24:07.
the landscape is always undtlating and it always works | :24:08. | :24:10.
from a distance, even though in Halfway through and | :24:11. | :24:13.
the dancer is beginning to dmerge. She represents | :24:14. | :24:19.
the leap forward women made when Elsewhere, | :24:20. | :24:21.
the grass itself makes the hmage. This one represents sound | :24:22. | :24:28.
waves made by ravens. And at Lower Laithe's reservoir | :24:29. | :24:31.
zigzag swathes were planted. The work's inspired other | :24:32. | :24:34.
farmers to get involved. Drive around the route | :24:35. | :24:42.
and there is plenty to spot. The South Pennines makes ond heck | :24:43. | :24:45.
of a gallery. Fantastic. Talking of fields, I have | :24:46. | :25:03.
been itching all weekend. Is it a high pollen count? | :25:04. | :25:07.
It is, but from whence things will settle down so there will bd more | :25:08. | :25:11.
high pollen counts. Fantasthc days the weather, storms and clotds and | :25:12. | :25:14.
clouds and we will start with this picture in Ratchford where there was | :25:15. | :25:20.
`` Retford, where there was local flooding. North and south Yorkshire | :25:21. | :25:24.
got away with it but there will be more thunderstorms tonight. I don't | :25:25. | :25:27.
know whether you saw the skx before this heavy rain came through... This | :25:28. | :25:37.
is an gelato sarsaparilla this was just ahead of the rain that took | :25:38. | :25:40.
them off the cricket field hn Headingley. This is one for the Tour | :25:41. | :25:47.
de France lovers. They have painted the pavilion accordingly. And | :25:48. | :25:54.
Scarborough at night, that hs another belter, isn't it? Not to be | :25:55. | :25:58.
beaten, though, by my favourite salt Wyck Bay near Whitby at | :25:59. | :26:02.
sunrise. Beautiful pictures over the weekend. Keep them coming in. | :26:03. | :26:09.
Tomorrow, it is another day of Sunny spells with thundery showers and | :26:10. | :26:13.
they should be more scatterdd, quite hit and miss and some places will | :26:14. | :26:16.
miss them altogether. No prdssure is generally in charge but frol | :26:17. | :26:22.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday will be warm and dry. There is the `rea of | :26:23. | :26:28.
whether that's not the cricket out at Headingley but behind it, it is | :26:29. | :26:31.
pretty nice, warm this evenhng but you can see coming out of Normandy | :26:32. | :26:38.
and Brittany, more unsettled weather. The risk of some localised | :26:39. | :26:43.
flooding but most of the storm should be out of the way by first | :26:44. | :26:46.
light in the morning. Temperatures around 12 or 13 Celsius, 55 | :26:47. | :26:52.
Fahrenheit. The sun rises in the morning at 4:36 a.m., the hhgh water | :26:53. | :26:59.
time in Filey at 2:38 a.m.. And I start, a bit of patchy mist and fog, | :27:00. | :27:04.
those showers out of the wax and dry and bright with nice spells of | :27:05. | :27:07.
sunshine, but then temperattres rise and receive scattered thunddry | :27:08. | :27:10.
showers breaking out through the afternoon. It may well causd more | :27:11. | :27:14.
stoppages for the cricket at Headingley but the showers will be | :27:15. | :27:17.
moving through and they shotld be more sunshine in between those | :27:18. | :27:22.
thundery showers. Feeling pleasantly warm, above average for early June, | :27:23. | :27:26.
22 Celsius the high, Wednesday and Thursday and Friday looking fine and | :27:27. | :27:32.
warm. That is the focus. It is playing havoc with my | :27:33. | :27:36.
wardrobe, rain and sunshine. You will have to just go shopping | :27:37. | :27:40.
again. That is it, Amy is back with the | :27:41. | :27:45.
update at 8pm and 10:25 p.m.. I will see you tomorrow. Good | :27:46. | :27:53.
