A Leeds man has appeared in court charged in connecthon with

plot to smuggle ?100 million worth of cocaine into the country.

He's one of three men from West Yorkshire who are facing

A boat called the Makayabella was raided near Cork in

John Powell, who's 70 from Salisbury, Benjamin Meller, who s 35

in Cork district court in Ireland last night, charged with possessing

He appeared this morning at Leeds Magistrates Court.

It was mainly about whether he should get bail or not.

Magistrates told him the crying he is accused of carries

Another man, a 43`year`old, has been the least on bail in West Yorkshire.

Investigators are still looking for a sixth man, a 29`year`old.

They are urging him to give him self up.

A demonstration took place in Doncaster today in protest
