-From a small egg, the tortoise

-will grow fully in 25-30 years.

-It will have a large shell

-A tortoise's shell is like a shield.

-It defends it

-from any kind of danger.

-Inside the shell,

-the tortoise is soft.

-It can be difficult

-for the tortoise to find water.

-Most of its water

-comes from the food it eats.

-Darwin is a herbivore -

-it eats grass, leaves and plants.

-The tortoise has a long neck.

-It helps it reach the leaves
