It's been an epic year so far on Blue Peter.

In June, we had a surprise in store, which came with some serious

light entertainment.

There's Barney. Barney's back. Yes!

Lindsey had an uplifting moment of her own when she experienced

weightlessness on a very special space-simulating plane.

-LINDSEY:

-Very few people get to do this,

so I'm incredibly lucky to have a ticket.

Wow, this looks epic.

-Do they just drop you out?

-Yeah, they just drop you.

-Oh.

When you go over the peak, it floats. Look.

Oh, my goodness, oh, my goodness, wow.

Whoa.

I'm floating! Oh, my goodness. What do I do?

-She's floating.

-That looks sick.

-I'd love to be her.

-Yeah, that would be amazing.

-That would be epic!

Back on solid ground, Radzi was...windy.

It's his whoopee cushion world record attempt.

-Go.

-Go, Radzi.

-ALL:

-See, there we go.

-Just gone past the 40. He's on track to do this.

Think you might do this.

-ALL:

-59, 60, 61...

We've got a world record! It's a world record!

From world records to world firsts.

In her epic WaveRunner challenge,

Lindsey attempted to cross the Irish Sea

in a modified inflatable ball.

-LINDSEY:

-Here we go.

I wouldn't do that. I'd get super claustrophobic.

Despite the fact that it's dark, conditions are perfect.

Then the dark as well. How does she know where she's going?

If you try to run in it, it's really hard, isn't it?

-Cos you just fall over.

-You'll just slip and fall.

I managed to cover 2.5 miles in my first hour.

Lindsey, Lindsey!

But everything that comes in has to go out.

So, I've done a wee in my wet suit.

Oh, no.

Imagine a fish seeing that from underneath like, "Oooh!"

I'm running out of time, but I'm determined to get back on course.

At least you keep on trying and you keep going.

She must be so tired.

Fundamentally, it becomes too dangerous to be out here.

'I can't believe it's over.

'I've been at sea for nine hours, but I have to accept that

'I can't make it to Scotland against the tide.

'I'm devastated.'

Oh, Lindsey!

I would've gave up after, like, an hour.

Now it's over. This is sad.

Lindsey inspired us all to have a go and do our best, which is

a popular theme in your letters, which we love so much we did this.
