Well, I think this is my favourite toy in the CBeebies house.

Oh, hang on a minute, but maybe it's this one.

Hmm, I'm not sure. What do you think?

Well, the girls in tonight's bedtime story

definitely and absolutely have a favourite toy

and THAT is the problem.

Why don't I tell you all about Frankie, Fifi and Funny Bunny?

The story is by Rachel Bright and it's called Mine.

Allow me to introduce you to Fifi and Frankie, the twins.

Fifi's best things are ponies, princesses and the colour pink.

Her worst thing is peas.

Frankie's best things are bears, bicycling and the colour blue.

Her worst thing is bedtime.

But the both have the same bestest thing in the whole wide world -

Funny Bunny, their favouritist toy ever.

Fifi loves to dress him up in pink, not blue.

Frankie loves to take him on the Teddy Bear Express,

no ponies allowed.

Wherever the twins go, Funny Bunny goes too.

Today they're visiting Grandma Flo.

"I'm holding Funny Bunny!" Fifi always wants to hold him.

"No, I'M holding Funny Bunny," Frankie always wants to hold him too.

But oh, dear, you have guessed it,

there's only one Funny Bunny.

So..."Give me Funny Bunny!" shouts Fifi.

"No!" screams Frankie, "He's MY Funny Bunny!"

"But he's mine!" wails Fifi, "Give me Bunny!"

"No! He's Mine!" cries Frankie, "Give me Bunny!"

And they pull until...

Uh-oh.

"Wah! You broke Funny Bunny!"

"No! YOU broke Funny Bunny!"

Funny Bunny couldn't believe his not-there-anymore ears

and neither could Grandma Flo.

It was time to explain that, sometimes, you have to share.

And so, while Grandma Flo mended Funny Bunny one ear at a time,

they worked something out together.

And now on Mondays and Wednesdays and Fridays,

it's Fifi's turn to play with Funny Bunny.

Which is OK with Frankie because on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays,

it's her turn to play with him.

And Sundays?

Well, Sundays are double the fun, they're for playing together.

And even though sharing isn't always easy, everybody loves Sundays.

Well, almost everybody.

And that story was called Mine.

Maybe I can have a different favourite toy each day of the week.

Mmm, yeah, I think that's a very good idea.

And I have another good idea -

it's time for you to pick up your most favourite, most cuddly toy

and take it to bed.

I'll see you for another bedtime story soon.
