Well, this is where the magic happens, OK?

I knew you had something there. I thought that the first time.

This string is attached to the lace. That lace isn't my real shoelace.

It just matches it.

Basically, they are tied to the centre of that lace there.

When I pull it up, it'll pull the laces up.

I tied my laces, my real ones there, and tucked them into my trousers.

So when I shake my leg and pull my trouser leg up,

it just releases those laces and pulls these ones up

cos I'm tugging on this. I'm going to show you it now.

But this is what's happening - I'm just shaking, pulling this up...

-So simple.

-..and then my laces are revealed there.

-Should have got that first time.

-It's quite simple, really.

Just a simple mechanism like that.

-And put it down your trouser leg and you're ready to go.

'For this trick, all you need is an extra shoelace

'the same colour as the ones your wearing.

'Tie a long piece of string to the end and feed down your trouser leg.

Welcome to the style booth.

Today, I'm going to teach you how to make one of these

cool, customised collars.

Collars are everywhere the moment, but I'm going to teach you how

to make one without actually having to wear a shirt.

You can personalise it, too.

All you need is an old shirt like this,

and today I'm going to use little gems, but you can use anything.

Make sure the shirt is an old one that you don't want to wear again,

because we're going to cut the collar off.

Maybe you could use one of your old school shirts.

What I'm going to do first is cut off the collar.

A good tip is to make sure you cut under the top button, because

you're going to fasten that around whatever outfit you're wearing.

So now you've separated your collar from the shirt,

we can throw rest of the shirt away.

You might have a few frayed bits on the end of your collar,

so trim them off and tidy it up so it looks nice and neat.

Now I've cut all the frays off, I'm going to

glue my little gems onto the corners.

To do this, you need to make sure you've got fabric glue at hand.

And that is how you make a customised collar in three simple steps.

Let's take a look at how to make it again.

Step one, find an old shirt you don't mind ruining

and cut the collar off.

But get a grown-up to do it if you're too young, and trim the edges

if they're untidy. Step two, get your decoration.

Studs, lace, anything you want. Stick it to the corners of each collar.

Step three, button on the collar and pick an outfit till you have a match.

But you can make different coloured collars

to go with different outfits, of course.

But what Style Download would be complete without the ultimate test?

I'm so confident that these collars can pass off as real shirts,

I've asked Aidan to model three of them.

But one of them is fake, so I'm going to see if I can spot which one it is.

First off, we've got the smart casual look. Maybe...
