-APPLAUSE

-Welcome to Upload Download, we're joined by Anais and Harvey.

0:01:540:01:59

Basically, Upload Download is the part of the show where

0:02:000:02:03

I bring you weird and wonderful stuff from the internet.

0:02:030:02:06

If we like it, we keep it. If we don't like it, we delete it.

0:02:060:02:08

-Simple as a pimple. Now, don't start, Cel!

-Sorry.

0:02:080:02:11

-We haven't even started yet.

-You know it gets me, simple as a pimple.

0:02:110:02:16

Usually, I bring in clips for you, the first clip is illusion videos.

0:02:160:02:20

-Is that like magic?

-Sort of.

0:02:200:02:22

It's basically videos that make you go wow.

0:02:220:02:25

-I like them videos.

-Wow.

-OK.

0:02:250:02:28

-That's good. That is very good.

-OK.

-How do they do that?

0:02:320:02:36

That was just going to be my question.

0:02:360:02:38

-You're on it today, guys!

-Video editing or...?

-Close.

0:02:380:02:42

It's like they jump in, did another one when he wasn't

0:02:420:02:44

jumping in and then one doing that and one doing that.

0:02:440:02:46

I'm not going to give it away just yet. I've got a few more.

0:02:460:02:49

See if you can you work it out. Let's go.

0:02:490:02:51

THEY LAUGH

0:02:540:02:56

-I like that one.

-Right, OK. That one is cool.

0:02:560:02:58

Let's roll the next one.

0:02:580:03:00

This is how we go swimming.

0:03:000:03:01

So, do the first bit. Pause it, swap, play it again.

0:03:070:03:09

I think I know the answer, but, Cel...

0:03:090:03:12

You film, you're walking here and then let's say,

0:03:120:03:14

I wanted to change into George, I would be walking and then I would

0:03:140:03:17

stop and then he would go to where I was and then he'd film walking.

0:03:170:03:21

And the jumping one around the pool...

0:03:210:03:22

As he jumps in the air, they take the video

0:03:220:03:24

and then they stop it. And he keeps doing that every time.

0:03:240:03:27

-You're definitely on the right lines.

-Put us out of our misery.

0:03:270:03:30

Me and Cel gave it a go backstage. Let's take a look at that first.

0:03:300:03:32

-What?

-What!

-Oh!

0:03:320:03:35

You copied me with the hat and T-shirt!

0:03:350:03:38

-And the jacket, the red!

-I do like that.

-Do you like the shirt?

0:03:380:03:42

-OK. I really like that.

-Cool!

-You know, Cel!

0:03:420:03:46

I can bag it up and wear anything, me!

0:03:460:03:48

Let's see that with a little bit of a hat!

0:03:480:03:50

-See you later.

-Let's go.

0:03:500:03:52

I really want to do that now. That has inspired me.

0:03:540:03:56

I'm going to tell you.

0:03:560:03:58

Basically, yes, it is pausing, resetting the position,

0:03:580:04:01

pausing and so on. We're going to have a go right now.

0:04:010:04:04

Because you know I love bringing stuff to the studio.

0:04:040:04:07

Where's Charley and Dominic?

0:04:070:04:09

Come up here. Are you ready? So, you've just come in the room.

0:04:090:04:12

-I like your clothes.

-I like your clothes.

-Let's switch.

0:04:120:04:17

Nice.

0:04:170:04:19

The basics was right there. So, let's pause it.

0:04:190:04:22

Now, we need to swap tops. Is that cool?

0:04:220:04:24

-Quick, guys, time is ticking!

-Time is ticking.

0:04:280:04:32

So, right, you've swapped your tops. Right. Looking good.

0:04:320:04:35

I'll sit down. And same again, yeah? You ready?

0:04:350:04:38

-I like your clothes.

-I like your clothes.

-Let's switch.

0:04:400:04:44

Nice. That was good, for a first attempt. That was great.

0:04:440:04:49

Let's see if that's worked.

0:04:490:04:51

-I like your clothes.

-I like your clothes.

-Let's switch.

0:04:510:04:55

APPLAUSE

0:04:550:04:57

Well done, guys, take a seat.

0:04:570:04:59

-I think we should keep that, what do you reckon?

-Definitely keep.

0:04:590:05:02

That's Upload Download complete.

0:05:050:05:08

-Hi, we're The Vamps.

-Happy holidays. We hope you have a great summer.

0:05:080:05:12

Hello and welcome to a very special TV Download.

0:05:160:05:18

Now, there's loads of great TV shows coming up in the next

0:05:180:05:21

couple of months. But the one I'm most excited about

0:05:210:05:24

is brand-new series three of

0:05:240:05:26

Wolfblood, which is coming back in the autumn on CBBC.

0:05:260:05:29

HOWLING Yes, very exciting stuff.

0:05:290:05:33

Now, everything is very top secret at the minute, so I thought

0:05:330:05:36

I'd give my friend Louisa a call who plays Shannon Kelly in the

0:05:360:05:39

show and ask will she go undercover for Friday Download, and she did.

0:05:390:05:42

Let's see how she got on.

0:05:420:05:43

Hey, everyone at Friday Download, I'm Louisa and I play Shannon in

0:05:460:05:50

Wolfblood and I've got some

0:05:500:05:51

behind-the-scenes exclusives for you. Shhhh!

0:05:510:05:54

Action.

0:05:540:05:56

And action.

0:05:560:05:58

HE BEEPS THE HORN

0:05:580:06:02

-All right, guys, we're here with the Ks.

-Hey!

0:06:020:06:05

-What's going on in this scene?

-Liam just got a moped.

0:06:050:06:09

And he's riding it into school thinking he's looking really cool.

0:06:090:06:13

But he's dressed like a total idiot.

0:06:130:06:15

And we're not going to let him have his cool moment.

0:06:150:06:18

-THEY LAUGH Bye, girls.

-Bye!

0:06:200:06:25

You haven't been filming, have you, Louisa?

0:06:260:06:29

-No, no, no, no, I wouldn't do that.

-Has she been filming?

-I don't know.

0:06:290:06:33

-No, no, no, I haven't.

-You sure?

-No, she wouldn't do that.

0:06:330:06:37

I told you it was strictly,

0:06:370:06:39

you know, we don't work for Friday Download.

0:06:390:06:42

-You work for me.

-No, we really respect you.

0:06:420:06:44

-You're the producer, Jonathan.

-It's fine.

-Thanks a lot. Great.

0:06:440:06:48

-He didn't know. He didn't know.

-It's fine, it's fine.

0:06:480:06:50

LAUGHTER

0:06:540:06:56

OK, guys, this is Leona who plays Jana who is back for season three.

0:06:560:07:01

She's really happy about it.

0:07:010:07:02

So, what has changed about your character this year?

0:07:020:07:05

She's still a wild Wolfblood. So she's still crazy. She's wild.

0:07:050:07:11

She hasn't got a clue what she's going to be doing with her life

0:07:110:07:14

when she leaves school.

0:07:140:07:15

But she's a lot more open-minded, I think.

0:07:150:07:19

-I can't wait to see what she's going to bring.

-No.

0:07:190:07:22

-Bye!

-Bye! Have fun.

0:07:220:07:25

All right, guys,

0:07:250:07:26

this is Bobby Lockwood who plays Rhydian, Bobs.

0:07:260:07:29

-Hello, everyone.

-What can we expect from season three?

0:07:290:07:32

Two words, guys, caution, filming. OK? It's going to be serious.

0:07:320:07:40

-It's going to be real.

-Yes!

-There's going to be wolves.

-Yes!

0:07:400:07:45

And you're going to love it! Yes!

0:07:450:07:48

-Goodbye, Bobs.

-Bye!

-Maybe I could show you some of the costumes.

0:07:480:07:52

SHE GASPS The producer!

0:07:540:07:56

I told you not to film! Give me that camera!

0:07:560:07:59

No, no! He's found me! He's coming! No! SHE SCREAMS

0:07:590:08:04

APPLAUSE Well, thanks for putting yourself on the line, Louisa.

0:08:070:08:10

Very excited to see that in the autumn,

0:08:100:08:12

but for now, that's Wolfblood Download complete.

0:08:120:08:15

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:08:150:08:17

It's time for Star Download. Joining me today

0:08:220:08:24

-we have Bars & Melody!

-CHEERING

0:08:240:08:27

So, boys, this is the part of the show where we have a little

0:08:270:08:31

leaderboard and you've got to answer as many questions as possible.

0:08:310:08:34

Now, these questions have been left for us

0:08:340:08:36

by the beautiful people at home, they left them on the CBBC

0:08:360:08:39

website, and also a few from our audience here, so, are you ready?

0:08:390:08:43

-We're going to get serious.

-I'm nervous.

0:08:430:08:45

How many do we have to beat?

0:08:450:08:47

Currently top is Austin Mahone with 18, OK?

0:08:470:08:50

So, win this and you win the series.

0:08:500:08:52

-There's two of us, so we should.

-Get serious now.

0:08:520:08:55

You have 60 seconds to answer as many of these CBBC related

0:08:550:08:58

questions I have in my hand as possible.

0:08:580:09:00

-You have to be honest, entertaining and quick. Do you understand?

-Yes.

0:09:000:09:06

Good luck.

0:09:060:09:07

I also want to be a rapper, do you have any tips for me?

0:09:070:09:11

Yes, just stick at your dreams.

0:09:110:09:13

-What did it feel like when Simon pressed The Golden Buzzer?

-Amazing.

0:09:130:09:16

Amazing.

0:09:160:09:18

Hey, I wonder how you manage the time to practise?

0:09:180:09:22

-Just everyday.

-Every day. Practice.

0:09:220:09:23

-What's your favourite food?

-Pizza.

-Spaghetti.

0:09:230:09:26

What made you come up with the name Bars & Melody?

0:09:260:09:29

We just thought of it, it was great.

0:09:290:09:31

-Do you ever argue with each other?

-Yes.

-No, not really.

0:09:310:09:33

-Sometimes.

-Hi, Bars & Melody, can you juggle?

-Yes.

0:09:330:09:37

-I can.

-If aliens were taking you to space,

0:09:370:09:39

-and you could take three things, what would they be?

-Anything.

0:09:390:09:42

-Just go.

-Phone, charger and headphones.

0:09:420:09:44

-WiFi.

-If you weren't able to attend the BGT audition, what

0:09:440:09:47

-do you think you would have tried to do?

-School.

-I have no idea.

0:09:470:09:50

-Have you had detention and why?

-Yes. I was ill.

-Forgetting homework.

0:09:500:09:53

-How did you start performing together as a group?

-I don't know.

0:09:530:09:56

Dress the same.

0:09:560:09:58

-How good is your dancing, because I do dance classes...

-Amazing.

0:09:580:10:01

-Amazing. We're sick.

-What are you planning to do in the future?

0:10:010:10:04

-No idea.

-Who's your favourite judge on BGT?

0:10:040:10:07

-Simon.

-Alesha.

-Name...

-HOOTER SOUNDS

0:10:070:10:09

-Whoa!

-We've done it.

-No, I don't think we have.

0:10:090:10:12

Please say we've done it!

0:10:120:10:14

I did start that question, you get this one.

0:10:140:10:19

Take your time, was it Leondre who came up with

0:10:190:10:21

the lyrics or did Charlie help out as well?

0:10:210:10:24

I'd written it before I met him but he added some things in.

0:10:240:10:27

We change things around. We took stuff out that we didn't like.

0:10:270:10:30

I'm going really slow on this one because we have the time.

0:10:300:10:33

All of the time in the world.

0:10:330:10:34

And, yes, so, and, yes, that's basically what we did, and, yeah.

0:10:340:10:38

OK, well, boys, the moment has come, I can now reveal that you scored 15!

0:10:390:10:46

-Oh!

-I'm off.

-He's gone. He's had enough.

0:10:460:10:50

-So, I mean, you're in top the three, that's not bad.

-It's not too bad.

0:10:500:10:54

-I felt like crying when you said that.

-Don't.

0:10:540:10:56

I feel like, even worse than when you're on BGT. Come on!

0:10:560:11:00

-Yeah, yeah.

-Oh, OK.

0:11:000:11:01

-You're the winners!

-Thank you.

-No worries.

0:11:010:11:05

But that means the winner is Austin Mahone, here he is celebrating.

0:11:050:11:09

This is great, guys, thank you. I am honoured and thank you.

0:11:090:11:13

Thank you so much. You guys sure have a big award.

0:11:130:11:16

-This is kind of embarrassing.

-Nine, ten, 11, 13.

0:11:160:11:21

-I was just being double-checked, do we agree?

-Yes, 15.

0:11:210:11:26

-Yes, but I'm not happy about it.

-OK.

0:11:260:11:28

Well, listen, massive thank you to Bars & Melody.

0:11:280:11:31

-Thank you very much.

-And that is Star Download complete.

0:11:310:11:37

Still to come, Bars & Melody join us for Hot or Not.

0:11:370:11:41

We get poppy in Backstage Download.

0:11:410:11:44

And Bars & Melody perform their debut single.

0:11:440:11:46

# Cos I'm hopeful, yes, I am, hopeful for today

0:11:460:11:51

# Take this music and use it Let it take you away. #

0:11:510:11:55

So, there's no newbies here in Face Off, we're

0:12:000:12:02

all kind of Face Off veterans, we've all been there, done that.

0:12:020:12:05

But before we go any further,

0:12:050:12:06

let's take a look back at some of our favourite moments.

0:12:060:12:09

It's time to face the Face Off!

0:12:090:12:12

MUSIC PLAYS

0:12:120:12:15

GROANING

0:12:240:12:27

-CHEERING

-Oh, my gosh!

0:12:290:12:32

-SHE SCREAMS

-That's absolutely disgusting.

0:12:330:12:37

CHEERING

0:12:480:12:51

-Three, two, one.

-HE SCREAMS

0:12:590:13:03

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:13:030:13:05

That was emotional.

0:13:050:13:07

Dionne, you've had it pretty bad

0:13:070:13:08

-so far with the series, haven't you?

-Who's Dionne?

0:13:080:13:11

I don't know who Dionne is!

0:13:110:13:14

Well, before we go any further, it is

0:13:140:13:16

time to step into the Face Off arena for the final time this series.

0:13:160:13:20

Here we go.

0:13:200:13:21

-There it is, chilly, isn't it?

-Feels good it's the last one.

0:13:230:13:26

I always get that chill.

0:13:260:13:27

The first thing we need to do is find out what this week's

0:13:270:13:30

-challenge is and what the potential forfeits might be.

-EVIL LAUGHTER

0:13:300:13:34

Steve.

0:13:350:13:36

Going to miss you, mate, hope you're all right, good to see you!

0:13:360:13:39

-I need the envelope, where's my envelope?

-Here, Cel.

0:13:390:13:42

-How you doing, my mate? What's your name?

-Joel.

0:13:420:13:45

Joel, beautiful, can I ask you a quick question,

0:13:450:13:47

-has anyone seen the contents of this envelope?

-No, it's top secret.

0:13:470:13:50

Top secret. Love all that. Thank you very much, sir.

0:13:500:13:54

OK. Last time. This week's Face Off is... Party Popper Pop.

0:13:540:14:00

Presenters must race to pop balloons in search of a party popper.

0:14:000:14:04

Party poppers are hidden inside selected balloons.

0:14:040:14:08

Having found a party popper, they must pull their party popper

0:14:080:14:11

and take a seat in the safety zone.

0:14:110:14:14

The last loser standing must face the forfeit.

0:14:140:14:16

In the event the decision is too close to call,

0:14:160:14:18

we will go to a slow motion replay.

0:14:180:14:20

The game begins on the sound of the klaxon.

0:14:200:14:24

And now I'm going to have to leave you guys and go and wander over

0:14:240:14:27

here to these three podiums where three forfeits wait to be revealed.

0:14:270:14:32

Rich, for the last one, you've got to come and reveal what it is, mate.

0:14:320:14:36

I swear on my life...

0:14:360:14:41

-Oh! What's that? No! What is that? That smells!

-Eggs.

0:14:430:14:48

-That's a century egg.

-Urgh! No! No!

-What's it?

0:14:480:14:55

I'm having no part in that. I'm having no part in that.

0:14:550:14:59

Rich, go and give that a good whiff. Oh, George, mate.

0:14:590:15:03

No, no, go and smell it. Go and smell it.

0:15:030:15:06

-It stinks.

-Let's get out of here. Let me see.

0:15:100:15:15

So, this, ladies and gentlemen, this is known as a century egg.

0:15:150:15:19

It's edible, it is disgusting and stinks.

0:15:190:15:22

Number two, we move on from that. Urgh! Shannon.

0:15:230:15:27

I just, I don't even have words for it any more.

0:15:300:15:33

-You can't put it into words.

-It's just a constant nightmare.

0:15:330:15:36

We've got the costume, we've got the dog,

0:15:360:15:38

it WILL be to sing a song from Annie on this stage.

0:15:380:15:41

Or, I can now reveal, the Cel Spellman Salon,

0:15:410:15:44

is back open for business, if this is the forfeit.

0:15:440:15:47

Because it will be a canteen leftover facial! Urgh!

0:15:470:15:50

Urgh! Get that in your face! Get that in your face!

0:15:540:15:58

So, I should explain, them chairs over there, that is

0:15:580:16:01

of course our safety zone.

0:16:010:16:02

Take a seat in there and you will not have to face a forfeit.

0:16:020:16:05

Be the last loser standing and it will be you.

0:16:050:16:07

But there is a way to get a seat in there without even taking

0:16:070:16:10

part in the challenge, that is if you pluck one of these lucky straws.

0:16:100:16:13

So, guys, for the final time this series, I'm going

0:16:130:16:16

to let myself go first this time.

0:16:160:16:17

If I happen to stumble across a green one,

0:16:170:16:19

going to go casually, not going to think about it,

0:16:190:16:21

he'll have that one and it's not a green one, Cheers, see you later.

0:16:210:16:24

-Cheers.

-Let's do this.

0:16:240:16:25

-Oh.

-Here he comes.

-Under pressure.

0:16:290:16:33

I'll go with that one. Aw!

0:16:350:16:37

Please, please, please, please!

0:16:410:16:44

-I don't think there is one!

-That could be the twist. There isn't one.

0:16:440:16:49

FANFARE, SHE CHEERS

0:16:490:16:51

No, no, there IS a green straw, we just didn't get it.

0:16:510:16:54

So, Anais has got the lucky green straw, which means...

0:16:540:16:57

-You're so lucky.

-I am SO happy.

0:16:570:17:00

Words cannot describe how lucky I am feeling right now.

0:17:000:17:03

-You can always give it a go. Do you want to swap?

-Can I make a request?

0:17:030:17:07

-Will you sit in this seat?

-Yes.

0:17:070:17:09

Shannon, is there anything else you want to change while you're there?

0:17:090:17:12

-Just get rid of the Annie costumes!

-You guys ready?

-So ready.

0:17:120:17:16

-Anais, ready?

-Oh, yes, oh, yes.

-You guys ready?

-Yes!

-Are you ready?

-Yeah.

-What's happening, girls?

0:25:130:25:16

-All right.

-Always good. Now, you do know the game I'm going on about.

0:25:160:25:19

-Don't you, Cel?

-Are you talking about the game

0:25:190:25:21

where we each tie a balloon to our left ankle

0:25:210:25:23

and then try and pop each other's balloon without popping our own?

0:25:230:25:26

And if our balloon flies away then you're out of the game?

0:25:260:25:28

-You've got it!

-Are you up for that, Shannon?

0:25:280:25:30

-Let's play.

My "Hot or Not?" is skateboards.

0:26:360:26:38

Wa-ay, having the best time.

0:26:380:26:41

"Well, the thing is, yeah, Cel,

0:26:410:26:43

"I don't really like skateboards." Off you go.

0:26:430:26:46

"I'm going to move over there and stay on Not Hot."

0:26:460:26:49

"The thing is, Richard..." It's Dionne speaking, everybody.

0:26:490:26:52

"I think it's really hot so I'm going to sit over here."

0:26:520:26:56

George's voice...

0:26:560:26:57

"Well, Cel...I sound a bit like Richard."

0:26:570:27:00

I don't care.

0:27:000:27:01

"I'm going to make my way over here to the Not Hot side."

0:27:010:27:05

-"Hi, everybody, it's Shannon here."

-Brilliant.

0:27:050:27:08

"I quite like it so I'm going to move over here."

0:27:150:27:16

Cel, that sounded nothing like me.

0:27:160:27:18

Everything is awesome!

0:27:180:27:20

Ah, right, I thought it might have something to do with the fact

0:27:200:27:23

that The Lego Movie is coming out on DVD.

0:27:230:27:25

-I just think it's quite cool we got a Lego figure made of us.

-Me, too.

0:27:250:27:28

In fact, while me and Cel carry on playing with this,

0:27:280:27:30

why don't you guys check out The Lego Movie

0:27:300:27:32

and my other picks for this week?

0:27:320:27:33

-Shannon, stop being so quiet all the time.

-Come on,

0:27:330:27:36

let's play Hot or Not.

0:27:360:27:37

0:27:370:27:40

is thought to be the prophesised "Special"

0:27:400:27:42

who can save the world from an evil tyrant

0:27:420:27:45

who plans to glue the Lego universe together.

0:27:450:27:47

Rest in pieces.

0:27:470:27:49

-Oh, no.

-Wait, no, no, no!

0:27:510:27:53

HE SCREAMS

0:27:530:27:55

What the...?

0:28:020:28:03

-Relax, everybody, I'm here.

-Batman!

0:28:060:28:08

-What's up, babe?

-Babe!

-What?

0:28:080:28:10

Oh, sorry, Batman, this is Emmet. Emmet, this is my boyfriend, Batman.

0:28:100:28:14

-HUSKY:

-I'm Batman.

0:28:140:28:16

That's your boyfriend?!

0:28:160:28:18

There's already a sequel under construction.

0:28:180:28:20

Maybe we could all get a role in it

0:28:200:28:22

now that we've been made into Lego figures.

0:28:220:28:25

Hi, Friday Download, I'm America Ferreira

0:28:250:28:27

from How to Train Your Dragon 2

0:28:270:28:29

and I do the voice of Astrid.

0:28:290:28:31

And in How to Train Your Dragon 2

0:28:310:28:33

it's five years later than the first film

0:28:330:28:36

so Astrid and Hiccup are now 20 years old.

0:28:360:28:39

And they're living kind of in a utopia of Vikings and dragons,

0:28:390:28:44

living together in harmony.

0:28:440:28:46

But of course in the second film

0:28:460:28:48

the conflict comes from people on the outside

0:28:480:28:51

who don't believe in the way that Vikings live with dragons on Berk.

0:28:510:28:55

Where have you been?

0:28:550:28:57

Oh, you know, catching up with Mum.

0:28:570:28:59

That's your mother?!

0:29:110:29:12

While I'm recording, it's very physical.

0:29:120:29:14

'Especially when we're recording any lines

0:29:140:29:17

'when we're riding the dragons or falling off of dragons

0:29:170:29:20

'or fighting or tumbling,'

0:29:200:29:22

we have to use our bodies a lot.

0:29:220:29:24

-SHE LAUGHS

-Whoa!

-Astrid!

0:29:240:29:27

Well played.

0:29:270:29:28

If you don't think it can get any better

0:29:310:29:32

than winning Britain's Got Talent

0:29:320:29:34

then think again.

0:29:340:29:35

You could end up starring in your very own movie.

0:29:350:29:38

Just ask Pudsey the dog.

0:29:380:29:39

PUDSEY: This is great.

0:29:390:29:40

On my own with nobody to bother me.

0:29:400:29:42

What's going on over there?

0:29:440:29:45

THE BOY SHRIEKS

0:29:450:29:48

Leave him alone!

0:29:480:29:50

-I hate bullies.

-What a brave dog.

0:29:500:29:53

We should give him something as a thank you.

0:29:530:29:55

Great idea! Sausages.

0:29:550:29:57

This has to be worth at least one sausage.

0:29:570:29:59

-Oh!

-Can we keep him?

0:29:590:30:00

'You'd better watch your tail, Scooby-Doo,

0:30:000:30:02

'there's a new dog in town.'

0:30:020:30:04

The movie to watch on your TV this week is...

0:30:040:30:07

-SCREAMING

-Sorry, sorry, sorry!

0:30:070:30:11

We're going to die!

0:30:110:30:12

CHEERING

0:38:360:38:39

Give it up for Pixie Lott, everyone.

0:38:390:38:41

CHEERING

0:38:410:38:45

-Now, that was an amazing performance.

-Thank you, Dionne.

0:38:450:38:48

Now, we've got a post-performance selfie album going on right now

0:38:480:38:51

on the CBBC website. And we would love you to be in it.

0:38:510:38:54

-I'd love to take part. Thanks for offering.

-Guys, are you ready?

0:38:540:38:57

-So we'll do it with our studio audience.

-OK.

0:38:570:38:59

-Right, are you ready, guys?

-CHEERING

0:38:590:39:02

-There you go.

-Love that.

-Well, that is Music Download complete.

0:39:030:39:07

CHEERING

0:39:070:39:10

Welcome to What's Up Download

0:39:140:39:15

where you guys send in your problems

0:39:150:39:17

and we discuss them to try and find a solution.

0:39:170:39:19

So today's issue has been sent in by Kate.

0:39:190:39:22

When I first... When I moved, I was in the same position as Kate.

0:39:440:39:48

I went from a primary school with 105 students

0:39:480:39:51

-all the way up to almost 2,000.

-Wow.

0:39:510:39:54

And I think it's going to be scary

0:39:540:39:56

because you don't know what to expect.

0:39:560:39:58

I'm sure if you, like, be yourself, you'll be fine.

0:39:580:40:01

It's probably easier moving from primary school to high school

0:40:010:40:04

than it is to just move schools.

0:40:040:40:05

Cos I moved schools in year nine and I was really, really scared

0:40:050:40:08

because I didn't really have any friends at the time.

0:40:080:40:11

But after, like, a couple of weeks, everything was cool

0:40:110:40:13

and everybody was really friendly.

0:40:130:40:15

When I moved up to secondary school,

0:40:150:40:17

-I actually moved to a different area.

-Oh, wow.

0:40:170:40:20

So I didn't know anyone. I didn't know one person in the school.

0:40:200:40:22

So it was quite scary on the first day.

0:40:220:40:25

I mean, turning up, seeing almost 1,000 people in a room.

0:40:250:40:29

-Yeah.

-Like, new people chatting to each other and knowing each other.

0:40:290:40:33

And turning up and being the only one, like, on your own,

0:40:330:40:36

it was quite scary but I think you've just got to be confident

0:40:360:40:39

and just show that you're, like, a good person

0:40:390:40:42

and just try and socialise with people

0:40:420:40:44

-and you gain friends quite quickly.

-Yeah, class.

0:40:440:40:46

That must have been really scary, moving completely on your own.

0:40:460:40:49

Yeah, cos you normally go with friends, a lot of the time.

0:40:490:40:52

I moved to a completely different school

0:40:520:40:54

and I was really scared.

0:40:540:40:56

I was just terrified of, like, whether I was going to fit in

0:40:560:40:59

or whether people would like me or not.

0:40:590:41:01

I just started to think, like, we was all in the same boat.

0:41:010:41:04

Everybody was looking to find new friends and have a good time.

0:41:040:41:07

Just be open, be friendly and be up for making friends

0:41:070:41:10

and speaking to people. That is really important.

0:41:100:41:13

Now, also, Ella Eyre,

0:41:130:41:14

who was on the show a couple of weeks ago,

0:41:140:41:16

gave us this advice.

0:41:160:41:17

Even though you're leaving behind your old friends,

0:41:170:41:19

you'll always have those friends

0:41:190:41:21

and you can always see those friends as well.

0:41:210:41:23

But going to a new school's exciting cos you're meeting

0:41:230:41:25

loads of new people and loads of new friends

0:41:250:41:27

and they're probably just as scared as you are.

0:41:270:41:30

Thanks for that advice, Ella.

0:41:300:41:31

And this is what 5 Seconds Of Summer had to say.

0:41:310:41:34

If you're scared of moving schools from primary to secondary,

0:41:340:41:37

I'd do that.

0:41:370:41:40

But when I moved I was very scared, and I was not that cool at school,

0:41:400:41:44

but I met these guys.

0:41:440:41:46

I remember seeing you the first day.

0:41:460:41:48

-I thought you were so cool.

-Aw, thank you.

0:41:480:41:53

You never know, you might meet some people and make a band.

0:41:530:41:56

Or do whatever you like to do and you might meet new people

0:41:560:41:59

that suit your personality better than the ones before.

0:41:590:42:02

-You know what? You definitely will.

-It's a big world.

0:42:020:42:04

And it will be fine.

0:42:040:42:06

How cool is that that 5 Seconds Of Summer actually

0:42:060:42:08

met each other at school?

0:42:080:42:09

So, I don't think that everybody's going to go and form a boy band

0:42:090:42:12

when they move schools, but you can definitely make some new friends.

0:42:120:42:15

And you guys have also been on the CBBC website

0:42:150:42:17

leaving your advice on the message boards.

0:42:170:42:19

-So I believe you've got some stuff here to read, haven't you?

-I do.

0:42:190:42:22

Brown Twirling Crock, she says, "I'm in year seven, nearly year eight.

0:42:220:42:27

"I was worried when I joined secondary school,

0:42:270:42:30

"but it surprised me when I made new friends so quickly.

0:42:300:42:33

"You soon get used to all the different teachers and classrooms.

0:42:330:42:36

-"You have nothing to worry about at all. Hope this helps."

-Helps a lot.

0:42:360:42:39

If you got new friends who are feeling a bit sad or down,

0:42:390:42:42

you can always go over and give them a helping hand

0:42:420:42:45

-and get them involved in your group of friends.

-Definitely.

0:42:450:42:48

That's some great advice. If you see somebody that is a bit on their own,

0:42:480:42:51

involve them cos you'd want somebody to do that for you.

0:42:510:42:55

There's another one from Peach Bass Buzzard.

0:42:550:43:00

"On your first day you'll have a tour then you'll be happy.

0:43:000:43:04

"It's OK to be nervous."

0:43:040:43:06

-Great advice. Is it OK to be nervous.

-It's terrible when you get lost

0:43:060:43:10

and you're late for lessons,

0:43:100:43:11

but the teachers always seem to give you a chance.

0:43:110:43:14

I remember when I moved to my new school and we had a map.

0:43:140:43:17

I was just looking around like, "Where do I go?"

0:43:170:43:20

When I go up every year, you're not used to

0:43:200:43:22

the classrooms that you're in, so every year you still get lost.

0:43:220:43:25

When I moved to my secondary school we had this treasure hunt

0:43:250:43:28

around the school just so you knew where the classroom was.

0:43:280:43:31

-That was fun, I enjoyed that.

-That's a good idea.

0:43:310:43:33

I think I did use that as an excuse.

0:43:330:43:36

Think I got to class late and I'm like, "Got lost."

0:43:360:43:39

This is from Aqua Reading Gadget.

0:43:410:43:43

"Try offering a shy or lost-looking person a seat next to you in

0:43:430:43:46

"the lunchroom or in a class, and smile as much as you can.

0:43:460:43:49

"Have fun and good luck."

0:43:490:43:52

You look a lot more approachable if you smile.

0:43:520:43:55

Now, I hope you all have a wonderful summer holidays.

0:43:550:43:57

And remember, when you start school in September, don't be nervous.

0:43:570:44:00

Just think of all the advice we've given you

0:44:000:44:02

and you'll have a great time.

0:44:020:44:04

But for now, that's What's Up Download complete.

0:44:040:44:06

Hi, I'm Anais. Welcome to Style Download and welcome to my bedroom.

0:44:110:44:15

I love fashion.

0:44:220:44:23

And I'm always trying to recreate styles using my own clothes.

0:44:230:44:27

But I thought I'd share my tips with you guys at home.

0:44:270:44:29

Today, I'm going to show you

0:44:290:44:31

how to make a pair of shorts from an old pair of jeans.

0:44:310:44:34

You're right, Anais.

0:44:340:44:35

Shorts made from old jeans are definitely a must-have this summer.

0:44:350:44:39

All you need is a pair of old jeans, a marker and some scissors.

0:44:390:44:43

Right, let's get styling.

0:44:430:44:45

My little tip is to use a marker to mark where you want to cut,

0:44:480:44:51

but you can use some chalk.

0:44:510:44:53

Doing this means you've more control of the length of your shorts

0:44:530:44:56

and you're more likely to get a straight line.

0:44:560:44:58

Take your marker and mark a line front

0:44:580:45:00

and back about halfway between where your waist and knee is.

0:45:000:45:03

If I was a boy, I would mark just below the knee.

0:45:050:45:07

But you can make these shorts whatever length you want,

0:45:070:45:10

it's totally up to you.

0:45:100:45:11

Now, take your scissors and cut along the markings.

0:45:140:45:17

If you make a little slit it's easy to insert your scissors

0:45:170:45:19

and cut along the line.

0:45:190:45:21

If you're one of our younger viewers,

0:45:220:45:24

get an adult to help you with this bit.

0:45:240:45:25

Once you finish cutting, don't throw away your excesses,

0:45:270:45:30

you can use them to customise other bits of clothing.

0:45:300:45:33

Your shorts should now look like this.

0:45:380:45:40

The next step is to get an adult to put them in the washing machine.

0:45:400:45:43

When they come out they should look like this.

0:45:430:45:47

You can even pull on them yourself to fray them even more.

0:45:480:45:51

If you've missed any of that here's a quick recap.

0:45:510:45:54

Step 1 - take an old pair of jeans

0:45:550:45:57

and mark out where you want your shorts to start using a marker.

0:45:570:46:02

Step 2 - use a pair of scissors, cut along the markings.

0:46:020:46:06

Step 3 - pop the shorts into your washing machine

0:46:080:46:11

to get a frayed edges effect.

0:46:110:46:14

I've got my finished shorts.

0:46:140:46:16

All I need to do now is to put them on to hit the streets

0:46:160:46:19

to see what you lovely lot think. Come on.

0:46:190:46:21

-Hi.

-Hi.

0:46:310:46:32

-Do you like my shorts?

-Yeah.

-I made them myself.

0:46:320:46:35

-Hm.

-You get a pair of old jeans.

-Yeah.

-And you take a marker pen.

0:46:350:46:39

And you mark where you want to cut them, so you get a nice line.

0:46:390:46:42

And then you cut them.

0:46:420:46:43

And then you pull them a bit and put them in the washing machine.

0:46:430:46:46

Then you get these nice little frayed bits.

0:46:460:46:48

Which ones would you wear in the summer?

0:46:480:46:50

The shorter ones because you might get a little bit more hotter

0:46:500:46:53

-and these look like they're more for boys.

-Yeah.

0:46:530:46:56

-Hi.

-Hi.

-Do you like my shorts?

0:46:590:47:01

I love them. They're fabuloso.

0:47:010:47:03

Do you think you guys are going to make these?

0:47:030:47:05

I really will make them.

0:47:050:47:07

-Hi, guys.

-BOTH: Hi.

0:47:090:47:10

-Do you like my shorts?

-BOTH: Yeah.

0:47:100:47:12

-Are you guys going to try and make them at home?

-BOTH: Yeah.

0:47:120:47:15

How long do you think you're going to have them?

0:47:150:47:18

-About here...

-Oh, just above your knee?

-Yes.

0:47:180:47:21

It seems like everybody loved my shorts.

0:47:260:47:29

I love taking old clothes and making them into new ones.

0:47:290:47:31

I guess fashion's just in some people's genes.

0:47:310:47:34

That's Style Download complete.

0:47:340:47:36

Welcome to Hot or Not where we're joined by Bars & Melody.

0:47:410:47:44

Guys, let me explain how this works.

0:47:470:47:49

Hot or Not is the part of the show where we bring up topics

0:47:490:47:52

and we discuss whether they're hot or not.

0:47:520:47:54

And if we think they're hot, we're going to sit on, what side, Cel?

0:47:540:47:57

-This side.

-Correct.

0:47:570:47:58

And if not, then we're going to sit on this side.

0:47:580:48:01

Since you're newbies,

0:48:010:48:02

why don't you start us off with the first suggestion.

0:48:020:48:04

We've got a web suggestion from Indigo Rapping Giraffe.

0:48:040:48:08

The hot topic is Secret Languages.

0:48:080:48:12

Me and Charlie have experience with secret languages.

0:48:120:48:16

-Have you got your own?

-Yeah.

0:48:160:48:18

Merk is milk.

0:48:180:48:20

-It's just everything with an E and R instead of the main...

-Letters.

0:48:210:48:24

-Vowels.

-Yeah.

-How would you say hello?

0:48:240:48:27

Herlo.

0:48:270:48:28

-Cabbage would be like...

-Cerbbage.

0:48:310:48:33

Could you have a little conversation for us in your own language?

0:48:330:48:36

Yeah.

0:48:360:48:37

Bercon derble cheesberger.

0:48:370:48:39

-Is that bacon double cheeseburger?

-Yes.

0:48:390:48:41

Mersh poterto.

0:48:410:48:43

Mash potato.

0:48:430:48:44

We had one at school. Dionne, I don't know if...

0:48:440:48:47

We were at school together.

0:48:470:48:48

Ours was called uvaguv.

0:48:480:48:50

Oh, yes.

0:48:500:48:52

-Do you know it?

-I know of it, yeah.

0:48:520:48:53

That's one I was going to say.

0:48:530:48:55

Can you speak it? How do you hello, how are you?

0:48:550:48:58

Herlo, her are you?

0:48:580:49:00

In uvaguv that would be...

0:49:000:49:01

HE SPEAKS UVAGUV

0:49:010:49:04

I think I'm going to stay on Not for this one.

0:49:040:49:07

It always gets so confusing with different letters with phrases.

0:49:070:49:12

But then if you use it,

0:49:120:49:13

-nobody's going to know what you're talking about.

-Exactly.

0:49:130:49:17

-He got your one straight away.

-Ours is more funny.

0:49:170:49:19

If you have a genuine secret language then it's going to be amazing.

0:49:190:49:23

And you're going to seem really clever as well.

0:49:230:49:25

Like, "Oh, he knows a secret language."

0:49:250:49:26

I can't even learn a normal language,

0:49:260:49:28

-let alone a secret language.

-Are we on Hot or Not?

0:49:280:49:32

I'm on Not.

0:49:320:49:33

HE SPEAKS UVAGUV

0:49:330:49:36

Is that Hot or Not?

0:49:360:49:38

I haven't got a Hot or Not.

0:49:380:49:41

It's an audience member.

0:49:410:49:43

-What's your name?

-Kyam.

0:49:430:49:44

What is your Hot or Not?

0:49:440:49:46

Colour coordinating.

0:49:460:49:48

Come join us for this.

0:49:500:49:52

I want to go for Hot anyway.

0:49:520:49:53

-Do you think it's Hot or Not?

-Hot.

0:49:530:49:55

Follow me over here.

0:49:550:49:58

-Oh, no, I'm right. I'm wrong.

-Sorry, dude.

0:49:580:50:01

You're into fashion.

0:50:010:50:04

Same colour t-shirt, same colour shoes.

0:50:040:50:05

Can I just say...

0:50:050:50:08

You are actually are colour coordinated.

0:50:080:50:10

You're cool.

0:50:100:50:13

We're cool as well.

0:50:130:50:16

See, it's not cool if you don't do it right.

0:50:160:50:18

You are right.

0:50:180:50:20

What about denim on denim?

0:50:200:50:21

I like double denim.

0:50:210:50:24

You've got to have a certain look to pull it off.

0:50:240:50:28

I've rocked it on the show once, actually.

0:50:280:50:30

# She's a dedicated follower of fashion. #

0:50:300:50:34

Talk me through the outfit.

0:50:340:50:37

Got the high tops, which are bright.

0:50:370:50:39

And then you've got not too much yellow...

0:50:390:50:41

Just enough to bring out the trainers.

0:50:410:50:45

Just the perfect amount.

0:50:450:50:46

This kid could be a fashion designer. I'm not even joking.

0:50:460:50:49

-Would you have a bracelet on?

-Yeah.

0:50:490:50:51

Same sort of colour?

0:50:510:50:53

-A necklace or a bracelet.

-I'm going to go Hot.

0:50:530:50:57

You'd have to have them different colours.

0:51:000:51:03

See, I don't think I really think about it.

0:51:030:51:06

Come over, you know it's hot.

0:51:060:51:08

You're black, white, black, white right now.

0:51:080:51:11

You're doing it.

0:51:110:51:13

Come over here.

0:51:140:51:16

Yes. So we're all Hot.

0:51:170:51:19

My Hot or Not is actually sand castles.

0:51:190:51:24

And as you can see, there's one right here.

0:51:240:51:27

-What are you doing, guys?

-Just spreading out.

0:51:290:51:31

I purposely moved actually

0:51:310:51:34

because I don't like the beach, sand,

0:51:340:51:38

so sand castles aren't for me.

0:51:380:51:40

When you're on the beach and you go into the sea...

0:51:400:51:44

you're going to come back out, you're going to sunbathe,

0:51:440:51:47

you're going to walk across the sand

0:51:470:51:48

and then it sticks to you.

0:51:480:51:50

And then you have to go wash in the outside showers.

0:51:500:51:55

It's not actually sand, it's building sand castles.

0:51:550:51:58

Yeah, but they're associated with sand, I'm not a sandy man.

0:51:580:52:02

It gets stuck in your feet.

0:52:020:52:04

Come and join us.

0:52:040:52:06

The worst thing is putting your socks on after

0:52:080:52:11

going on the beach and having to walk

0:52:110:52:13

and pulling your shoe off when you go home and go like that...

0:52:130:52:15

But that's why they have showers.

0:52:150:52:18

Yeah, but then you always have to walk on sand.

0:52:180:52:20

And then...

0:52:200:52:22

I'm getting angry now.

0:52:220:52:23

If you're making a successful sand castle,

0:52:250:52:27

the joy you get out of looking at it, see.

0:52:270:52:31

-Don't you feel overjoyed?

-How do you feel, Dionne?

0:52:310:52:34

I feel underjoyed, actually.

0:52:340:52:36

If that's even a word.

0:52:360:52:38

I've got two younger brothers and when I make

0:52:380:52:40

sand castles on the beach, they always come over and smash them.

0:52:400:52:43

That's part of the fun, though.

0:52:430:52:44

Sorry, guys.

0:52:440:52:47

I just think they're such a fun thing to do on the beach,

0:52:500:52:54

you can get together with your family and do it.

0:52:540:52:56

Maybe that's a boy thing.

0:52:560:52:58

THEY SPEAK OVER EACH OTHER

0:52:580:53:00

I used to like creating a moat around it.

0:53:000:53:02

But then the water goes through the sand.

0:53:020:53:05

I don't like sand, but I don't mind building sand castles.

0:53:050:53:11

-It's not hot, it's not hot.

-It's not hot.

0:53:110:53:13

So guys, we want to know what you think about building sand castles

0:53:130:53:16

so if your opinion is different to ours, get on the CBBC website

0:53:160:53:19

after the show, and let us know on there.

0:53:190:53:21

Thanks, everyone, for joining us,
