This is Special Reporter Jelly, for Green Balloon Club,

on holiday in Wales! And I'm so excited.

I'm not sleeping in a bed tonight, or a house!

I'm sleeping somewhere really special.

That's right! I'm camping and I'm going to sleep in a tent!

Oh, there are my friends! Come over, friends!

Here they come. It's so exciting. This is Jacob, Oscar and Ben. Hello.

ALL: Hello, Jelly.

Jacob, I've just thought of something. Will you help?

Look, this is what I wanted to show you. Look at the view!

There are loads of views like this in Wales.

-That's why it's such a good place to come on holiday.

I'm really loving to be camping! Let's get back to the tent!

It's nice, isn't it?

Mummy's made us hot chocolate.

Hot chocolate with marshmallows. Yum, yum.

When we've all had our hot chocolate, we'll brush our teeth.

That's why I've got my toothbrush. Shall we brush our teeth?

All clean.

We're all comfy and cosy now, aren't we?

They're so big. They're nearly bigger than me.

They're the chickens that we get eggs from.

I'm getting hungry. I think it's time to get the eggs for breakfast.

-Oh, he's getting our eggs.

I've had so much fun camping! Have you?

I can't believe I got to sleep outdoors!

But we had to come inside the tent, didn't we? Because it's raining.

-At least we got our yummy eggs to eat!

We enter the big gate to the park.

Into the woods, where it's very dark.

A horse chestnut tree standing tall,

conkers dangling like baubles.

Along the path, we like to walk.

Listening to the animals talk.

Ducks sitting lazily by the pond,

the geese fly from beyond.

The adventure playground is lots of fun.

This is where the grown-ups let us run.

Hanging on the climbing frames.

Our parents shout our names.

Zipping down the slide, coming last.

Swinging on the swings, going fast.

Feeling dizzy on the roundabout.

Lying on the grass, knocked out.

Going to the park is cool.

Wish we can come every day after school.

I'm waiting to hear from Betty and Stanley.

They've been watching blue tits in their garden.

Skipper, you keep watch. How about we say a birdie rhyme while we wait?

It's called Peter and Paul. Perhaps you know it.

Two little dicky birds sitting on a wall,

One named Peter, one named Paul.

Fly away, Peter. Fly away, Paul.

Come back, Peter. Come back, Paul.

What is it? It's Betty and Stanley.

Hello! What's happened with the blue tits?

Hello. We went to see the birdies today.

Last time, they didn't have any feathers, and their eyes were shut.

Come on.

I wonder what the birds have been up to since we were last here.

This is what they look like when they're just born.

She's feeding her babies some caterpillars.

Ew, what's that?

I guess it's like when we were babies,

and our mummies and daddies took away our dirty nappies

to keep us nice and clean.

Aw!

Aw, the mummy's coming. They're so cute!

And now they're two weeks old.

"Come on, Mummy. Give me some food."

Mummy's giving them some wormies!

Wow, they've got SO big. I can see tiny feathers.

Feathers!

They're all squished cos they've grown so big.

They cheep until they can get some caterpillars and wormies

to feed their greedy bellies!

They've got so big, and their eyes are open.

They're just going, "Meep! Meep! Meep!"

Now they are grown up.

The birdie's talking to me.

It's like the birdies are squeaking for ice cream.

Ice cream, ice cream.

They're testing their wings cos they want to fly like their mummy.

The birdies have got big now and they've got flappy feathers

and they've got big eyes and I think they're going to flap away now.

We were right.

A few days later, the baby blue tits stretched their wings and flew away.

Perhaps they're living in OUR garden.

We've loved watching the baby birds grow up. I hope you have, too. Bye!

Hi, I'm Ant, and I'm looking for creatures that make you squirm!

I'm going on a bug hunt. Do you want to come with me?

Hi. On my bug hunt, I found Chrissie.

But she's not a bug. She's going to show me some very special scorpions.

OK, I'll go for this one first.

-You pick them up by the tail, like that.

-They look really shiny.

-They do, in the sun.

-Yeah.

I thought they'd be much smaller.

That's about as big as they get, actually. You can get smaller ones,

but that's the adult size of the imperial scorpion.

-You're brave, holding them.

-These scorpions aren't poisonous.

You get scorpions in other countries.

You shouldn't touch them in the wild.

-Can we feed the scorpion?

-No problem.

-I'll get you a cricket.

-I wonder if it's hungry.

Are you hungry?

Ooh, it's grabbing it.

Why is that one so much fatter than the others?

That's had its dinner already.

How many crickets would it take to get that fat?

I think he's had about five so he'll be on a diet from now on.

What does it feel like when you pick it up?

They feel quite tickly. They're quite delicate creatures.

-Do you want to have a go?

Just pop your hand underneath there. Feel his legs.

-HE SHUDDERS

-It's making me squirm.

Quite tickly, aren't they?

I can't believe that one's got three!

Yeah, he's very greedy.

It's time to make a Bug File.

They have eight legs.

I give the scorpions a squirm rating of...

four out of five, because I didn't really want to hold them.

I have a fascinating fact for you about imperial scorpions.

Did you know that imperial scorpions glow in the dark under a UV light?

Come on, I'll show you what I mean.

Can you see these scorpions glow?

They're glowing green.

They do this to attract insects to eat.

I'm wearing these so I can glow, too.

It's so cool being so close to these unique animals.

Curled in her basket, Skipper is dreaming.

She's dreaming of camouflaged creatures today.

Then, in a twinkle, and a wag of her tail,

She's off on adventures, in lands far, far away.

This rainforest looks really pretty.

But I can't see any animals here.

Down I go!

I've got the feeling I'm being watched here!

Ooh! What was that?

And there again!

Barking bones! There are dragons here!

Ah-woo!

They're not really dragons, Skipper.

They're a reptile called a chameleon,

and they can do all sorts of amazing things.

Did that one change colour?

Ah, look. That one's going to sleep, and it's turning all white.

Imagine if I could change colour! What colour should I be?

Or I could hide amongst the branches.

Can you see me?

Oops a daisy!

Hey! Don't poke your tongue out at me!

Barking bones! What a long tongue!

Do it again!

Chameleons have really long, sticky tongues,

which they use to catch bugs to eat.

Let me have a go. I could do that.

FLY BUZZES

Ew! Yuck! I caught a fly.

Eugh!

Dogs don't eat flies. I want a nice dog biscuit.

The adventure is over Skipper's back in her bed

With visions of dog food for supper instead

They'll never believe the things I have seen

Did it really happen... or was it a dream?

What an amazing adventure, Skipper.

But there's no time for sleeping, because we've got to go.

There's only time for one more thing.
