On today's show we've got two sisters who have just been

put in control of their parents' big day.

With the joining of hands, I now pronounce you, Evie and Ruby,

officially 100% in charge!

The girls are hoping their plans mean this wedding is simply super!

But could it all be too much for Mum and Dad?

the only show that lets kids plan their own parents' wedding.

-That's right, you guys make all the decisions.

But the budding wedding planners won't be on their own.

We are here to help.

Let's meet today's dynamic duo!

This time we're in Leeds, where we've got two sisters who want

Mum and Dad to have a super day they'll never forget.

I'm Ruby, I'm eight and I like going on roller coasters.

I'm Evie, I'm ten years old and I like playing musical instruments.

Our dynamic duo are actually a fantastic three -

with little brother Oliver as the extra member.

It's not finished yet!

The girls have been busy planning the big day and they've come up

with an idea that throws boring weddings out of the window.

The theme of our wedding is... dum-dum-dum...

BOTH: Superheroes!

So, Naomi, we have our theme - superheroes!

Fantastic! I'm thinking superpowers.

-Super villains.

-Super spandex outfits.

Sounds like a job for two super wedding planners!

Evie and Ruby have already thought about all the different

elements they'll need to put on a wedding, including transport,

outfits, some entertainment, where they can hold it, even a cake.

And they can't wait to give Mum and Dad the best day ever.

To us, Mum and Dad are our superheroes.

-Yeah, that's right.

-And we want to show that to them.

It sounds like the girls want to organise a heroic day.

But Mum Tracy and Dad Tim are a bit nervous about what's going on.

I like to wind them up, play tricks on them,

so I can imagine they might be trying to get

a bit of revenge on me, but I'm sure they'll make it special.

Course it will be special, Dad.

When these super sisters get started, this wedding is set to take flight.

Bleurgh!

If we're talking superheroes, there's no-one cooler

than this guy - the awesome Iron Man.

So we tracked down the real life superhero

who designed his iconic costume.

Hi, I'm Adi, nice to meet you.

Adi Granov is a comic book artist and film designer.

He created the suit seen in the Iron Man movies.

And now he's ready to help the girls come up with something

unique for Mum and Dad.

Let me hear your ideas.

Well, we're making Mum Wedding Woman.

She has, like, a dress, and here she has a lightning bolt.

Adi soon gets working, supersizing the girls' ideas

with the sort of skills he usually brings to superhero blockbusters.

-Gloves, no gloves?

-I think gloves, yeah.

OK, so what do you think?

-I think it's perfect.

-I think it's super!

So that's Wonder Mum done.

Time for the girls to tell this Hollywood movie designer

what they'd like their dad to wear.

What sort of name could he have?

Dad of Steel.

So what sort of costume should he have?

Wellies!

Wellies?

He's going to be Mum's superhero.

Dad is set to look impressive as Dad of Steel.

And the girls' ideas don't end there.

-You're Evil Ed.

-Evil Ed.

'Great. The bad guy again.'

-You're happy?

-I'm very happy!

-Yup.

After working with Adi, the girls have some amazing costume designs,

perfect for a family who have been super heroic themselves

for the last few years.

The girls have had a really tough time over the last few years.

Oliver came along and become poorly

and we struggled to always manage to do everything we wanted to do.

MUM: They were completely sidelined for about a year

because we spent the best part of a year in hospital

going through his treatment

and they were passed from relative to relative.

They've had to put up with a lot, so as much as it is about time

we got married, it's about them as well.

The good news is that Oliver is much better now

and ready for the super wedding of the year.

Back on the outfit quest, the girls have hit the shops.

Every superhero needs a cape and we need six.

-I think that might be cool for Dad of Steel.

-That one?

-Yeah.

For Mum's cape, this is good.

-Do you think Evil Ed?

-Perfect!

I think it's perfect too!

-It's got, like, lightning bolts and black on it.

-Yeah!

Evie and Ruby have picked out their material. Now they need to

send it off and hope the costume-makers can deliver it

in time for the big day.

-This is yours and mine.

-Right.

-Mum's, Dad's, Ed's and Evie's.

-Happy?

-Yes, sorted.

Outfits ordered. Next up, Evie and Ruby are ready for lift off.

Is it a bird...?

No, it's Super Ed!

The girls really want Mum and Dad to fly during this wedding,

just as our very own Boy Wonder is on this zip wire.

Look, he's going to crash!

Oof! I think that landing might need some work, though.

You've got to admit, that's very graceful.

Yep, having seen Ed, we can say that flying through the air

on a zip wire would definitely be perfect entertainment for a wedding.

How do you think Mum and Dad will handle that on the wedding day?

They'll be fine!

-Once they get over the fastness and the crashingness.

-Are you sure?

I'm not the biggest fan of heights.

I have abseiled. I was terrified. I screamed all the way down.

So Dad hates heights, but Evie is definitely up for flying

through the air at 25 miles per hour.

She's so brave!

-That was fun!

-Are you sure this is the right entertainment?

-Yes!

-Pretty sure.

-Pretty sure?

-Yeah!

It's going to take some serious nerve from Mum and Dad.

If we can do it, anyone can!

And back at home, the girls' high-flying ideas just keep coming.

-Look at that!

-My gosh, that's awesome.

It looks like a water jet pack.

Oh, wow, I want to have a go.

Not happy just getting Dad to prove how brave he is

with a zip wire, the girls now want him to entertain the guests too,

by testing out a superhero-style gadget.

Dad would really love to do it.

And just so you know, they're talking about Dad doing this,

real superhero stuff!

If the girls organise this, it will be a spectacular end to the wedding.

We were wondering if you could help us with making our dad fly.

-SIRI:

-'I can make your dad fly. We can make him look a superhero.'

Entertainment done and it should be a classic.

Evie and Ruby are now halfway through planning a sensational

superhero wedding for Mum and Dad.

He's going to crash!

So far, the girls have decided on making Dad

brave his fear of heights as part of the entertainment.

Are you nervous for it, Dad?

Er, a little bit nervous and very excited.

I like it, I like it!

They created some cool outfits with a real superhero costume designer.

And they've even found a wedding dress for Wonder Mum to wear

with her caped costume on the big day.

It's nice and short. You'd still be able to move.

But Mum is starting to get a bit worried

about what's about to happen.

We're designing the cake.

And we're thinking right now

it's going to be a skyscraper sort of thing

with "Pow!" written across it in big letters.

That's right - the girls have come up with an awesome idea

for their wedding cake.

They want it to sit on a giant skyscraper cake stand -

the sort of building that you usually see Spider-Man swing from.

-A Marrying Mum And Dad first - we want to build a wedding cake.

-Really?

-This hasn't been done before.

-Let's have a look.

They've sent their plans to the technical team here at this workshop.

This is cool!

And the lads have wasted no time

in getting the first part of the skyscraper nailed.

It's going to look really good

but it might not be the tastiest cake ever.

You can say that again, Naomi.

Good job a real cake will be on top of it.

If there was a wooden wedding cake competition,

this would definitely win it.

As this, er, cake is a complete one-off,

I think it might be the only entry in that competition, Ruby.

With the skyscraper now well and truly under construction,

the girls have another special idea that should really finish it off.

Like all good superheroes, it means pulling off a quick change

and flying to another location to test out a brand-new gadget.

This hi tech piece of equipment is scanning both of the girls

and then a 3-D printer will turn that scan

into a mini superhero figure of them.

How cool is that?

3-D printers are the latest in cutting-edge technology.

They can be used to reproduce almost any shape

but the girls might be the first to make superhero cake toppers.

That looks really good, doesn't it?

-I think it's brilliant.

Wow! So can we say it's superhero cake sorted?

Yeah!

Cake done, but let's hope someone brings a saw to slice it.

All the best superheroes have their own set of awesome wheels

and the girls want Wonder Mum

and Dad of Steel to arrive on the big day in style.

Maybe a really cool black car? Or decorate it.

Like a motorcycle.

The good news is that we've got just the thing.

-Superheroes love their gadgets, don't they?

So we need something super cool and super hi tech

to get your mum and dad to their wedding. OK.

I think I've found the perfect solution, Naomi!

Ed is riding on a two-wheeled personal transporter.

If that doesn't sound like something straight out of the Bat Cave

then nothing does.

Oh, this is awesome!

The question is, do the girls think this is how

they want their superhero parents to get to the wedding?

And you can be sure that daredevil Evie isn't about to miss the chance

to test this techno transport for herself.

One of the biggest challenges of planning this wedding

has been finding the perfect venue.

-Woo-hoo!

-The girls want a zip wire

as part of their entertainment on the big day

so we'll need somewhere with loads of outdoor space.

-I thought, what we need is a superhero HQ, isn't it?

-Yeah.

So what about...this place?

-Awesome!

-Cool!

Shall we arrive like superheroes?

-OK!

-Superheroes power!

-Yeah!

With that last piece of our wedding jigsaw falling into place, Evie and

Ruby are almost ready for Mum and Dad's spectacular superhero big day.

..the kids have worked flat out to make their plans into reality.

At home the, girls are busy trying to finish off

their crime-fighting costumes before the big day.

just in time from the 3-D printers.

They look great.

These on the wedding cake, they'll just look amazing.

They're really not giving anything away.

The wait is over and the big day has finally arrived.

Our heroes' hang-out might be starting to take shape

but back at home, Mum and Dad are nervously waiting

and still have no idea they're about to become caped crusaders.

Over at Superhero HQ, it looks like

the girls have transformed the venue in super speedy time.

They've even added real-life versions of Iron Man Adi's

costume concept drawings...

..and a foam brick wall for Wonder Mum and Dad of Steel

to burst through like real crime-fighters.

Outside, there's also been a major arrival.

It's the mobile zip wire

the girls need for their good-versus-evil entertainment.

-Yeah.

-So who are we going to send down this?

-Mum and Dad.

Once they get going, I think they'll be screaming their heads off.

It's looking good for the girls so far, but all that is about to change.

The wedding set-up seems to be going well - a little too well.

It's time for me to transform into Evil Ed!

Wa-ha-ha-ha-ha! Behold, I am Evil Ed!

And I've got the perfect plan to foil those superheroes

and spoil this wedding!

they also wanted a supervillain.

which have impressed the guests.

Evie and Ruby have done a great job organising their parents' wedding.

I think it would be really hard

and they've managed it, which is impressive.

They put a lot of effort into it.

I think they're proud of it, and yeah, it's just been a great day.

This is actually a state-of-the-art gadget that allows users

to challenge gravity just like a real caped crusader.

How are you feeling now, Dad?

A little bit nervous.

It works by using water pressure to propel you up, up and away,

well over the height of an average house.

Not great for this dad,

who we know doesn't like being too far off the ground.

Why do you want to make your dad do this?

We wanted to make you fly a little bit more.

Fly to the extreme.

How do you feel about flying to the extreme on your wedding day?

Erm, I'll give it a go!

I'm going to make you a superhero!

The problem is, it takes plenty of practice to master it.

Dad has just a few minutes to pull off the coolest super stunt ever.

He's probably going to be really nervous

-but then he's going to love it when he gets on it.

-Yeah.
