Someone or some THING has been taking far too many paper leaves.

Oh, but we need coloured tissue paper to finish our model monster.

Lots of people need paper, Felix. It's causing chaos all over Okido.

This is bad! We need to find out who or what is doing this.

need to nurse this poor tree back to full bloom.

Why don't we track down the paper-taker,

while you take care of the tree?

What does the paper-taker look like?

The few people who have seen it can't even agree what colour it is.

But how can we find something if we don't know what it looks like?

Oh, we've been around the park twice and the trail just keeps going!

They make almost as much mess as I do.

All the plants have started moving about.

-Have we wandered into a magic forest?

Those aren't plants. They're animals that look like plants.

They're using camouflage.

Camo... What?

Camouflage. Sometimes, shy little creatures

that don't want to be seen by bigger creatures

disguise themselves as plants and twigs.

So your twig with legs is a camouflaged insect

called a stick insect.

And this flying flower isn't a flower! It's a butterfly.

So creatures use camouflage if they don't want to be seen.

Yes, that's right.

Some creatures even change colour so they can hide better,

like the Smith's dwarf chameleon.

I wish I had camouflage.

-It would be like being invisible.

Maybe that's why we can't catch the paper-taker.

We'll have to get the paper-taker to come out to where we can see it.

and that makes it hard to see.

The paper-taker was making a nest to live in.

But the paper-leaf tree is missing loads more than that.

That's why the paper-leaf tree is bare!

Every time the wind blows, the paper-taker needs more paper.

And then the paper-taker will take more paper from the paper-leaf tree.
