Good morning, guys!

Jenny here, with your Wednesday Newsround.

First up, if you live in England or Wales,

many of you will be finding out today which secondary

school you'll be going to.

It's a really important day for many of you,

and most of you will get your first choice of school.

But some experts say that one in six 11-year-olds in England won't.

The problem is expected to be worse than last year.

Ryan and Kirsty live in Northern Ireland.

There is an election taking place tomorrow and they wanted to explain

why it matters to them.

Hello, I'm Ryan.

Hi, I'm Kirsty.

We're both from Belfast.

It's the capital city of Northern Ireland.

BOTH: Come with us.

There are many great things to see in Belfast,

like this big blue fish.

The Titanic was built here, so you can come

and visit the museum, too.

We in Northern Ireland are part of the UK.

But we have our own government, just up there, which is in charge of

things like schools and hospitals.

We have a very important election coming up tomorrow.

It's really important to us, because there was a lot

of conflict here in the past.

The conflict was quite a while ago, and we were too young

to live through it.

So we've brought our teacher along today to learn a bit about it.

When I was growing up in Northern Ireland,

things were a lot different than they are today.

There were soldiers on the streets, there were bombs going off,

there were bomb scares.

If you'd maybe gone into the city centre, you would have

to have your bag checked.

So, was it scary when you went near Belfast with your friends or family?

It was and it wasn't, because you became so used to it.

But it was scary, I can remember being in Belfast with my granny

and I was about your age, running down the street because

there were explosions happening.

You live in very different way than I did growing up

in Northern Ireland.

We don't want to go back to the old days

in Northern Ireland, where there's lots of

fighting and conflict.

So it's important our government keeps things running the same.

Our message to all the politicians here is to just keep the peace.

President Trump has promised a new chapter of American greatness

in a big speech he made to US politicians last night.

It's the first time he's spoken to the US Congress,

which is similar to the UK Parliament.

He promised to spend much more on the armed forces,

and to tackle terrorism and illegal immigration.

He also appealed for unity, saying the time for fighting had passed.

Believe in yourselves, believe in your future

and believe once more in America.

How would you like to take a holiday in space?

An American rocket company has said it's going to fly two tourists

to the Moon next year.

The announcement got us pretty excited here at Newsround HQ.

Like any space travel, there are some risks involved.

There will be test flights to check everything is working, though.

Make sure you book enough time off - the journey could last a whole week.

Liftoff is scheduled for 2018, so don't miss out.

You may have flipped a few pancakes yesterday -

but how about this for an epic Shrove Tuesday challenge?

This is the final lap of the pancake race at Worcester Cathedral.

This is the view of the Dean, The Very Reverend Peter Atkinson,

as he gets past a number of obstacles whilst

flipping a pancake.

They do the race every year, but it was the first time they'd

strapped a camera to one of the contestants!

Finally, you might have heard of Timone and Pumba,

the Fox and the Hound or Bambi and Thumper, but now I give

you N'usha and Ilona.

The snowy owl and husky dog have formed an unusual friendship.

They love to hang out together and even give each other kisses!
