Hi, I'm Hayley.

It's Friday and here's what's coming up on Newsround today.

Tucker the poorly turtle.

And could we be having kitty police constables soon?

It's been more than five years since the civil war began in Syria

in the Middle East.

Millions of people have had to flee their homes and live

in refugee camps in nearby countries.

But life there can be tough too.

Many children have had to find ways to help themselves

and their families.

Meet eight-year-old Batul and ten-year-old Mohammed.

TRANSLATION: We saw that our parents were in need of some money

so we began to work like all our friends.

We have to walk a lot every day but we earn good money.

We work for about four hours a day.

They used to live in Syria, but when the Civil War broke out

there five years ago, they couldn't stay any longer

so they left with their family.

They are now in nearby Lebanon living in this camp.

In Lebanon, everything is expensive and families are struggling to live.

They are struggling to get the basics.

They are struggling to get the food and that's why most of them

are having no choice but to send their children to work.

Every child has a right to an education.

But for children in camps around Syria, it's not always possible.

Their father has a disability and their mother needs to take care

of their baby brother.

So Batul and Mohammed go out to work.

They earn about two pounds a day selling chocolate bars.

This is enough to buy the things that they need like milk and bread

and their father's medicines.

TRANSLATION: If I hadn't been working, I would have loved

being in school but I want to have my father.

being in school but I want to help my father.

I need to help him.

Batul goes to school from time to time but Mohammed had

to drop out.

It would cost ?3.50 a month for both of them to travel to school,

but their family just can't afford that.

TRANSLATION: We get tired but we need to help our parents.

When I get tired, I think of my father and I keep going.

Time for some sport, and the England Cricket team now

know who they will be facing in the T20 World Cup final.

The West Indies beat India yesterday in the other semifinal,

setting up another clash between England and the West Indies

on Sunday.

They've already played each other once in this tournamant and England

lost that one.

So here's hoping for a better performance from the team this time.

Next, we all know cats have put in some brilliant performances

on the internet, but how do you think they would get

on in the police?

Well, a five-year-old girl called Eliza wrote to her local police

chief constable to tell him she thinks they would great

at listening out for danger and rescuing people from trees.

He agreed and the police have now confirmed they will consider

using cats to help fight crime, although it's not quite

clear how yet?

Next, something that fans of the Dengineers will love.

An inflatable space pod for astronauts to live and work

in is being sent up to the International Space Station

next week.

Here's how it works.

This will be the first inflatable space home.

It's called Bigelow Expandable Activity Module or Beam.

Designed by NASA and Bigelow Aerospace, it launches into space

on 8th April.

It will be attached to the International Space Station.

Made of aluminium and soft fabric, it's lightweight and takes up

minimal space on a rocket.

The new area creates a place for astronauts to live and work

and NASA thinks this technology could help create homes on Mars

in the future.

Next, there was sad news for some Little Mix fans yesterday

when the girls had to cancel their show in Belfast last night.

The group apologised to fans but many were

left very disappointed.

Jesy was sick and we had to cancel and we all had to go home.

I was upset because it's my first concert, so it is.

I couldn't stop crying earlier on.

I was just devastated.

That was meant to be for my birthday so now,

basically, it's not going to happen cos Jesy's sick.

Next, one thing you need to be able to do if you're a turtle

is dive underwater, right?

Well, for one turtle named Tucker, it's not that easy.

After he was found washed up on a beach in the United States,

it became clear that air bubbles inside his body

were stopping him from diving.

Now he's being treated in a chamber normally used to help human divers

who have problems after diving.

He's being monitored closely now to see if the treatment works.

Next to possibly the most pampered pooch ever.

Meet Chi-Chi the Chihuahua.

She loves having her nails done, and it's especially important right

now as she's preparing to get married!

That's right, married.

Her owner is paying around ?20,000 for a lavish wedding for Chi-Chi

and her future husband Harvey.

Even the hen night cost about ?6,000.

I hope they both have a lovely day.

Now to some big space news.

A new planet has been discovered by the team at Jodrell Bank

Observatory.

They were sent a signal from a little blue planet.

When it was processed, they realised that hidden

within the noise were pictures and sounds, including a series

of clangs and an unusual whistling which proves that we are not alone

in the universe.

Hang on, they are the Clangers.
