Ayshah here with Thursday's Newsround.

First, the leaders of the main political parties met last night

to debate what their parties want to do if they win the election.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn decided to take part yesterday,

but Theresa May who leads the Conservatives decided not to be

involved and sent a senior person from her party on her behalf.

May says she is taking questions from voters around

the country instead.

It is now only a week to go until adults around the country

decide who to vote for Prime Minister.

So voting is pretty important, but how does it happen?

Here's Whitney with more.

I'm about to take you on a journey to vote.

And this is how you do it.

So on the 8th of June on election day, your school might have

one of these signs up saying polling station.

And what that means is that adults can vote there.

They are also in churches and community centres like this one.

First off, I want to get my name checked off the list.

Hi, I'm Whitney Henry.

There you go.

Thank you very much.

And I am handed a piece of paper like this.

It's called a ballot paper and lists all the names

of the people I can vote for.

They are all from different political parties and all want to be

an MP in your area.

But first we've got to head to a super-secret booth so that

no-one can see how I vote.

It's all got to be done in private.

You've got to go!

I grab the pencil.

Scroll down the list and put an X by the name I want to win.

No emojis, though.

They might not be counted.

Then you fold your paper, put it in the ballot box and job done.

At 10pm all across the UK, doors at polling stations will shut.

The boxes will be whisked off.

All the votes will be counted and the person

with the most votes wins.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is staying with the club

for another two years.

It was announced he had signed a new deal yesterday,

which means he will be a manager at the club for a total of 23 years.

Some fans didn't want him to stay, after the Gunners missed out

on Champions League qualification for the first time.

But Wenger is hoping to end the criticism,

and says he has got his sights set on the Premier League

title next season.

More than half of gamers say they have been bullied

while playing online.

That's what a survey by the charity Ditch the Label,

who spoke to people aged 12 to 25, says.

So, how can you keep yourself safe when gaming?

Playing games online is something many of you enjoy, right?

But sometimes it can turn a bit nasty when people

say stuff like this.

So, what should you do if it happens to you?

Well, if someone sends you a nasty message,

it can be tempting to respond in the same way sometimes.

But that can actually make things worse.

If it is safe to reply, you can calmly explain

why it has upset you.

But it can be better to just not respond at all.

Remember, you can block or report the person to moderators.

Another option is to just turn off the charts.

Another option is to just turn off the chat.

Even if you don't want to report a bully, it is important

to share what is happening with someone you trust.

That can be your friend, teacher or a family member.

Be cautious about who you talk to and don't connect with anyone

you don't know in real life.

People are not always really who they say they are.

And remember, never ever give away personal details like your name,

telephone number or address.

And that's our top tips for staying safe online.

When you wash you hands, do you normally use warm or cold water?

Well, apparently it doesn't really matter.

Scientists have poured cold water on the theory that

hot water is better.

They say both cold and hot water kill the same amount of germs.

And it also doesn't matter if you use normal soap,

or antibacterial soap.

But the scientist do say that you should scrub your hands

for at least 10 seconds.

Fancy a swim?

Of course you do, but wait.

Look closer.

It went for a dip in a family's swimming pool in Florida in the US.

The police came along to help and moved it to another location,

far away from the home.
