way. The stadium that launched Jessica Ennis is to close. Giggs

But the stadium where she spent all that time becoming the world's best

venue in the country isn't cheap. Now the facility will be closed and

knocked down. Sheffield City Council which owns the stadium says

it has spent �700,000 running it last year. Councillors need to save

�50 million this year and the stadium's too expensive
