More than 100 tonnes of elephant tusks

have been set on fire in the east African

A big meeting's been taking place there to talk about

Thousands of elephants in Africa are illegally hunted

Kenya wants to show it's doing something about it,

although some people think it could make the problem worse.

The BBC's Anne Soy sent this report for Newsround.

The big fire behind me is ivory burning.

Every elephant has two tusks, but there are people

who like to kill them just so that they can get these tusks

and transport them all the way to Asia where they are very valuable

because they are used to make statues and jewellery.

But then, Kenya are trying to tell the world that it is not

It is more important to keep them alive because then people can come

into the country and go to the parks and see them.

So they have come to burn this ivory so that they can tell the poachers

that we are very serious, we are coming after you and we will

arrest you if you continue killing the elephants.

They think that if nothing is done to stop the poachers,

in about ten years there will not be any elephants left in Africa,

and so it is very important for them to stop the poachers.

Well, it's not only elephants that are hunted by poachers.

Rhino are being pushed to the brink of extinction too.

We've made a special film about the situation in South Africa.

This was a massive weekend for Leicester City fans.

They were coming here to play Manchester United at Old Trafford,

and a win would have seen the club win its first

I kind of did a couple of fist bumps.

When Leicester scored it was very loud.

At the start of the second half, it was great, because Leicester

and that was way more better than the first half.

I feel good about the draw because it is Man Utd

It is a good result cos we still have two matches to go to get it.

I think Leicester is definitely going to win the league.

We're definitely going to win the trophy.

And in cycling, France's Thomas Voeckler claimed victory in the Tour

de Yorkshire after winning the third and final stage at Scarborough.

Around 2 million people are thought to have come out to support the race

And forget other sports for a minute, this weekend it's

all about the British Lawnmower Championships.

The season kicked off with some intense racing.

For safety all the blades are removed from the mowers

Next, Princess Charlotte is celebrating her
