We find out about the truth about Tom Daley's micro pigs. And find out

how this paddle boarder made history. More than 70,000 cyclists

are taking to the streets of London today as part of a weekend festival

of the sport. The highlight will be a 100-mile race tomorrow but the

event started with an eight-mile ride through central London this

morning. Later there'll be a women's criterium which sees professional

women cyclists do a city-centre loop, and Olympic Gold medalist

Laura Trott says she hopes the event will get more people out on their

bikes. It has been growing and growing. They wanted to keep the

legacy going so having this on the weekend that would have been the

games, is amazing. If it can be an annual event, that is exactly what I

want to be part of. Mine is the London right crampy and is a 1.3

mile loop. It is for an hour around the city. It was the track when it

was the Olympics that is nice becoming and riding around the

famous landmark. And over on the website we want to know if you'll be

suffered a big blow just before lunch today as captain Alistair Cook

was caught out for 62 runs. It's not been a good morning for the home

since that important day at London 2012. The public liked him before,

and after this they loved him, including David Beckham. 12 months

on, it seems like things haven't changed. You get stopped in the

street a lot wherever you go, you always get asked for photos,

pictures, autographs. It's funny when people come up to me and ask

about my cats and things like that. I've got cats and they're like, oh,

how are your cats? And the fact that they know my cats names and things

like that, it's a little bit surreal, but it's nice that people

are interested. A moment he'll never forget is this, picking up his

medal, but since then he's had to change the way he lives his life

because lots more people are watching his every step. And that's

something you always have to remember, that there's always

someone watching you, you kinda have to always think like that. Some of

the times where you want to be just with your friends and you want to

just like have fun and chill out, but it's kinda funny seeing some of

the things that turn out about my micro pig that I don't have - the

ornament that I tweeted a picture with me in and then all the

magazines were like saying that I'd bought this micro pig for �250. And

I was like, its funny that because I haven't actually bought a micro pig

And right after the Olympic glory Tom was back in the pool, but this

time for new TV show Splash. But all of that means if Tom heads out at

the weekend he gets mobbed. If I go into town on a weekend I get stopped

pretty much by every other person and you kind of have to like triple

the amount of time to do things. I do the sunglasses thing, keep your

head down and walk. Environmental campaigners in the

West Sussex village of Balcombe are protesting for the 10th day at a

site where an energy company has begun test drilling for oil.

Protesters fear the company will start fracking - a technique used

get gas and oil from underground. They're worried the process is too

dangerous, could pollute local water supplies and even cause minor

earthquakes. Energy firm Cuadrilla says it has no plans to do so.

Next, there's been high drama recently on the world's highest

mountain, Mount Everest. From next year, expeditions on Everest will be

more closely monitored. Officials in Nepal say that for the first time, a

government team will be placed at the base camp to help climbing

teams, plan rescues and protect the environment.

A young Afghani woman has become the country's first ever female

aeroplane pilot and a hero for women's rights. Nilafor Remani

dreamt of being a pilot since she was a child but fought against

prejudice to get her job in the Afghan Air Force. It was difficult

to beat cars you know the female situation, all the rules for women

here. I just wanted to change the culture of the old mines, that we

second class citizens, but Lilafor says her appointment is a step in

the right direction. A US man has become the first person to

paddle-board between Cuba and the US. Ben Friberg completed the

111-mile voyage in 28 hours. He stood for most of the trip from Port

Hemingway, Cuba, to Key West, Florida and his dad was on hand on a

support boat to map read and pass him snacks along the way. And
