Hi, I'm Ricky with your Saturday morning Newsround.

First up, do you recognise this lady?

Yes, it's the flying nanny Mary Poppins, played by Julie Andrew

more than 50 years ago.

Now Disney has released the first photo of the new-look Mary set to be

played by Emily Blunt.

The British actress will be donning her navy coat and patterned

carpet bag for the sequel, which is due to be released

on Christmas Day next year.

Have you or your friends been wearing massive

colourful bows in your hair?

It's definitely a thing, but what is it about

and where has it come from?

Jenny has got this one.

You may have noticed these giant bows popping up at your school.

Some have dubbed it the new craze of 2017, but what exactly are they?

And why are they so popular?

Well, it has something to do with this 13-year-old from America.

How did it all get started?

I've always worn bows.

I've loved bows ever since I was at preschool.

Then they just got bigger and better and sparklier and then

I became JoJo with the Bow Bow.

It became a thing.

So are the bows just nice hair accessories?

A bow is more than just a hair accessory.

It is a sign of, a symbol of power, confidence.

This isn't a word, but believing-ness.

Like, literally it is just a good thing.

What about here in the UK?

What do you think of giant bows?

I love it because it's got glitter and sparkles

and stands out in the crowd.

I thought they were a bit expensive for what they were,

but I do love them.

They get annoying.

I like how they come with diamonds and pearls.

I think they are very stylish.

If someone with a bow sits in front of me,

I can't see the board because the bow is too big.

Is there only one way to wear a bow?

My way to wear a bow is in a side ponytail.

But you can get super-creative with a bow.

Piggy tells, piggy buns, braids, hair down, half up-half down.

Middle ponytail, side ponytail, side ponytail with braid.

Some schools in the UK have banned the bows.

How do you feel about that?

It's not a bad thing because it means people are wearing them

and using them and liking them.

But also it is a very bad thing because now schools are not

letting people wear them.

Follow the rules.

If your school did ban my bows, that is very unfortunate.

Now, cycling on ice - it's not normally a good idea,

but ice biking is becoming a booming sport all over the world,

especially in Scandanavia.

Now it's arrived in the UK.

The back wheels on an ice bike are replaced with blades and the aim

is to get around the course as quickly as you can.
