Hello. Welcome to Newsround.

We're starting with news of an attack in London last night.

Today, police are out protecting the streets of London.

Late last night, a white van drove into people on London Bridge

The area where it happened has been sealed off,

They say they're treating what happened as a terror attack.

Three men ran from the van, and attacked

Seven people died, and many more were injured.

Police were there within a few minutes, and the three

Emergency services also arrived within minutes to help

The prime minister, Theresa May, wanted to thank emergency teams

She's been speaking this morning, after holding

And united, we will take on and defeat our enemies.

London mayor Sadiq Khan says the police will

The police and experts and all of us are finding

Londoners will see an increased police presence today and over

the course of the next few days, no reason to be alarmed.

One of the things the police and all of us need to do

is make sure we're as safe as we possibly can be.

And people are being told to stay away from the area,

so the police can carry on their investigation safely.

you are not the only one and it's OK to feel sad or anxious.

When things like this happen, it's totally normal

To think things like "Why did this happen?"

"Could this happen to my family and my friends?"

What's important to remember is that although events

like this are very sad, they are also rare.

They can reassure you, and help you feel better.

Next to Manchester, where tens of thousands of people will head

to a special concert organised by Ariana Grande.

She'll be joined by some of the biggest names in pop

at the show, to raise money for people affected by the terror

attack at her concert in the city last week.

Martin is live at Old Trafford, where they're busy preparing.

Yes, I am outside the Old Trafford ground, and as you mentioned

tonight, Ariana Grande will be performing alongside Katy Perry,

Niall Horan, Justin Bieber and Little Mix. Tonight's concert will

be held in memory of the victims of the Manchester Arena attacks that

happened at just under two weeks ago. It's expected that around

50,000 people will be packed in at that stadium tonight, and that

includes some of the original people but were there two weeks ago at the

mem arena. It is Ariana Grande's first performance such that -- since

that concert, and on Friday she went to visit some of the victims. She

chatted to them and gave them hugs. The atmosphere here, you can see

that something is actually building. Earlier on I walk round people who

were already sitting waiting, and I heard that last night people camped

out just to be here in time. I also got to hear some of the sound checks

of some of the stars who will be performing tonight, and I had Niall

Horan. That's pretty cool. At about quarter past two I will give you an

update. OK, let's get some sports news now,

as Cristiano Ronaldo and his team They beat Juventus 4-1

in the Champions League final in Cardiff last night -

of course Ronaldo helped things along with these

amazing two goals for Real, The Spanish champions have now won

the league an incredible 12 times. Since coach Zinedine Zidane took

charge back in January last year, they've won back-to-back
