First, we're going to try and answer some

of your questions about why British planes are dropping bombs on Syria.

The first strikes happened earlier this week after UK politicians voted

to attack the extremist group Islamic State, who carried out

Lots of you have been in touch with questions, so we asked

BBC defence correspondent Jonathan Beale to answer them.

Gideon and Abigail are worried this will be the start of a bigger one.

That is the concern of some people because it is not just about this

group Islamic State on the ground, it is also about the involvement of

America, Britain, Russia. Russia is on the side of the Syrian

Government, the Americans, Britain think they are bad people, bad for

the people of Syria, so there is that worry, but the important thing

to remember is that these sites are all talking to each other, they all

think they have to defeat this group, Islamic State, and they are,

they say, still trying to work out a peaceful solution

It is not always easy to talk to people who hate everything about

you, and that is what it seems Islamic State feels about people

like us who live in the West. They have carried out those attacks in

Paris, against innocent people, so I think there will be a difficulty to

get a peaceful solution with them. They are not just bombing Syria but

a particular group in Syria. That is Islamic State. When British

warplanes leave here in Cyprus and overseer, they are looking carefully

for the right target, they say they are careful not to hurt local

people, innocent civilians. That is difficult in war but they say they

are taking all the precautions they can to make sure they are only going

after the baddies. You can see Jonathan answering more

hardly breathe. But just down the road from here,

a waste company has started to put They firstly separate the water

from the solids. They then clean the water

and dry the solids. This is coming right

after we have treated it. So, after we dry the faeces,

we feed it into a barrel. We are burning it to turn it

into charcoal. After it is burnt,

this is what you have. We grind it to powder,

we use cassava flour as a binding agent, to bind it

together, put it into a press and press it out into very nice charcoal

shapes, for domestic cooking. So what do people living in Accra

think about using the charcoal? TRANSLATION: I don't like the fact

that it's made But it works so well, it burns

faster than ordinary charcoal. So, even though it is made from

the toilet, I don't have a problem. The waste company hope that

by expanding the sewage plant, they'll be able to recycle all

of the human waste in Accra Finally - it might have been

designed to travel to Mars, but that hasn't stopped this spacebot from
