Morning, I'm Martin.

And this is Newsround.

Can you imagine how it would it

feel if someone told

you your opinion didn't matter,

just because you were a girl?

Well, that's what it was like

until 100 years ago in the UK,

this week, when women

and poorer men weren't allowed

to vote for their MP.

These kids have been finding

out what that was like.

Today, we're going to be

voting on some really,

really important issues that

will have an effect on all of you.

You have been split into two teams.

We have the Yellows,

and we have the Greens.

We're going to vote on whether...

..only have Brussels sprouts

for the rest of the whole week.

Write yes or no on here,

what you agree with.

OK?

Place your votes, and then go back

and sit in the middle.

So we have just got the votes in.

And the Yellows voted for the Greens

having to eat Brussels sprouts

for the rest of the week.

Next, we're going to have a race.

Greens versus Yellows.

To see who can cross

the room the fastest.

But we're going to have

a vote on whether...

The class have voted...

that the Greens will

only be allowed to hop.

Go!

Hands up if you thought

those votes were unfair.

Do you guys know that 100 years ago

women were not allowed to vote?

So imagine how they would have felt.

After I voted, I felt kind of guilty

that I had voted for something bad

to happen to the Greens.

I found it unfair because I am

making decisions for other people.

It's just unfair that some people

can't vote and some people can.

I was really surprised.

I thought it was all women,

and I thought that was

unfair for only men.

And it doesn't matter

your gender, where you come from,

or how rich you are,

that you should vote.

Everyone should be able to vote.

Next, for rugby union fans,

it was an action-packed weekend

for this year's Six Nations -

15 tries were scored overall.

Wales welcomed Scotland

for the opening match,

and for many, the game

did not go as expected.

The Welsh were impressive -

beating Scotland 34-7.

Ireland snatched a dramatic win over

France - the final score was 15-13

to the men in green.

Thanks to the drop-kick by Johnny

Sexton.

And England scored an impressive

seven tries against Italy in Rome.

It means manager Eddie Jones'

side have now won

23 of his 24 matches in charge

In the women's Six Nations,

England beat Italy 42-7.

England Captain Sarah Hunter scored

a hat-trick of tries

helping her team secure

the bonus point.

An absolutely amazing game

at Anfield yesterday.

Mo Salah scored the

first for Liverpool.

Substitute Victor Wanyama smashed

home one of the goals

of the season with an equaliser

for Tottenham with

ten minutes to go.

But then there were

two injury time goals.

Salah came back for

a second brilliant goal.

And, with the last kick of the game,

Harry Kane scored his 100th

Premier League goal!

An exciting and

controversial 2-2 draw.

There'll be plenty of parties

happening in Philadelphia

in America right now.

Their team, the Eagles,

won the Super Bowl for the very

first time while you guys

were all fast asleep.

It's American football's biggest

and most showbiz event.

Let's look at the touchdown

everyone says will be

shown a billion times -

Nick Foles was the hero

of the night.

The Philadelphia Eagles beat

the favourites and last year's

winners the New England Patriots.

But I did promise showbiz -

and this year's Super Bowl

half-time Show was amazing.

Justin Timberlake

was this year's star.

He performed for 12 minutes -

including his song

Can't Stop the Feeling -

and ended up in the

middle of the crowd.

Among them was a 13-year-old boy

who may just be the most popular

person in his school today -

he managed to bag

a selfie with the star.
