Good morning, I'm Ayshah with Monday's Newsround.

There will be a minute's silence later, after the attack

It happened in a part of the capital city called London Bridge.

As you can see just behind me is the UK's tallest building and right next

to it is London Bridge. Flags across London's most famous landmarks,

including Buckingham Palace and the tower of London, which is just five

minutes away, will be lowered to half-mast out of respect to those

who lost their lives during Saturday's attack which happened

just here. Here is everything we know so far.

Today there are still lots of police officers out protecting

the streets of London, but the city is trying

It's after an attack on Saturday night when a white van drove

into people on London Bridge in the south-east of the city.

Some of the areas where it happened are still sealed off

After crashing, three men ran from the van and attacked people

Seven people died and many more were injured.

Police were there within a few minutes and the three

The emergency services have been praised for how quickly

they responded and the way they helped as many

The Prime Minister and the London Mayor thanked them

There have been messages of support from other cities around the world.

In Paris, the lights of the Eiffel Tower were turned off,

and in Berlin a union flag was displayed.

Today, police investigations into what happened will continue,

but across London people will be going back to school and work.

So the police have still closed off some areas where the attack took

place around London Bridge and Borough Market, but if you look

behind me you can see many people walking on London Bridge, which has

been reopened, many people going to school, getting coffee, jogging, so

London, it looks like Tom is going back to normal. The capital will

hold a minute's silence at 11am. Back to you.

Seeing all those people has been my dream for ages and ages.

The atmosphere is amazing, just all the people,

it's just going to be a really good day.

But the person with the biggest cheer was Ariana Grande,

who organised the charity concert to help raise money for the victims

She appeared on stage with a number of different artists,

It was an emotional but powerful experience.

The spectacle, called the One Love Concert,

will go down in history, where the planet's biggest stars

and the people of Manchester came together to show that,

despite what happened here two weeks ago, love conquers all.

In just three days, adults in the UK will be voting

in the general election to decide who runs the country.
