Hey guys, I'm Leah with your big stories this Tuesday morning.

0:00:040:00:06

Coming up.

0:00:060:00:08

We meet the Taking the Next Step contestant who's got people talking.

0:00:080:00:13

And the contest that's got these people munching.

0:00:130:00:16

First - Nasa's Juno spacecraft has successfully gone

0:00:280:00:30

into orbit around Jupiter after an epic five-year journey.

0:00:300:00:32

This was the reaction at Mission Control in the US

0:00:360:00:38

when Juno reached its destination at our solar system's biggest

0:00:380:00:41

planet - which it'll study for the next year and a half.

0:00:410:00:44

It's a huge moment for Nasa and the BBC's Rebecca Morelle was there.

0:00:440:00:48

It's been a really tense few hours here at Mission Control.

0:00:480:00:52

The spacecraft set off five years ago.

0:00:520:00:56

It's travelled 2.8 billion kilometres through the solar system.

0:00:560:00:58

And then basically, it was a make or break moment.

0:00:580:01:02

To get into orbit around Jupiter, it had to slam on its brakes, burn

0:01:020:01:05

its engines for exactly 35 minutes.

0:01:050:01:08

If the engines shut off or they didn't fire for long enough,

0:01:080:01:12

it would have been bouncing out into the deep oblivion of space.

0:01:120:01:16

Luckily, that didn't happen.

0:01:160:01:19

We were there when they got the first signal to say the engine

0:01:190:01:22

burn was working.

0:01:220:01:24

Relief part one!

0:01:240:01:26

And then a second signal exactly 35 minutes later to say the burn

0:01:260:01:30

succeeded as they wanted it to and then there

0:01:300:01:34

was palpable relief here.

0:01:340:01:35

The scientists who we are speaking to, one of them said she actually

0:01:350:01:38

felt physically sick all day today.

0:01:380:01:42

She'd put so much of her life into working on this mission.

0:01:420:01:45

So over the course of the next weeks, we'll start to see

0:01:450:01:48

pictures coming back and they will be spectacular.

0:01:480:01:50

The closest ever images we've had of Jupiter.

0:01:500:01:52

Features like the great red spots, they should be fabulous.

0:01:520:01:55

Thanks Rebecca.

0:01:550:01:56

Now someone else who should be feeling fabulous is Andy Murray -

0:01:560:01:59

he's through to the last eight of Wimbledon after he saw

0:01:590:02:02

off his friend and number 15 seed Nick Kyrgios.

0:02:020:02:06

In the first set it looked like it might be quite

0:02:060:02:08

close between the pair, but Andy powered through

0:02:080:02:10

and dominated after that.

0:02:100:02:12

Andy will now face Frenchman Jo Wilfred Tsonga.

0:02:120:02:16

The Duke of Cambridge says people need to stand up,

0:02:160:02:21

not stand by to tackle bullying.

0:02:210:02:25

Prince William has released a video message to support the first

0:02:250:02:28

ever National Stand Up To Bullying Day.

0:02:280:02:29

He's warning that it doesn't just happen at school with new technology

0:02:290:02:32

making it feel never ending.

0:02:320:02:35

Bullying is an issue which can affect anyone of us.

0:02:350:02:38

It is our collective responsibility to be

0:02:380:02:39

alert and to be ready to challenge the behaviour we see around us.

0:02:390:02:43

We all have a role to play to ensure that we do not stand by, but instead

0:02:430:02:47

stand up and put a stop to bullying.

0:02:470:02:53

The Next Step is one of the hottest shows right now and the search

0:02:530:02:56

to find a CBBC viewer to star in it continues.

0:02:560:02:58

Ricky's been to meet one 14-year-old who's made it

0:02:580:03:01

through to the nationals on Taking The Next Step and she's

0:03:010:03:03

got a lot of people talking.

0:03:030:03:07

When I found out that Ricky from Newsround

0:03:130:03:15

was coming to interview me, I was a bit gutted that it wasn't

0:03:150:03:18

one of the other presenters.

0:03:180:03:20

I mean, Martin and Leah are so much better.

0:03:200:03:25

He thinks he can dance but he's really really bad!

0:03:250:03:30

I know Julia thinks she can dance and obviously she can,

0:03:300:03:32

but I think you might be a bit better than her.

0:03:320:03:35

You call that a pirouette?!

0:03:350:03:40

He doesn't know what he's doing.

0:03:400:03:41

Don't worry, I haven't bagged a role on The Next Step.

0:03:410:03:44

But Julia here is hoping she will get to star in the show.

0:03:440:03:47

She's one of the contestants on Taking The Next Step.

0:03:480:03:52

And she's had to overcome huge challenges in her life to get

0:03:520:03:55

to where she is today.

0:03:550:04:00

I want to, like, get every opportunity I can before

0:04:000:04:02

I have an operation, so...

0:04:020:04:03

Oh, what is the operation for?

0:04:030:04:05

On my back.

0:04:050:04:06

OK.

0:04:060:04:08

Julia has a condition called scoliosis, which causes the spine

0:04:080:04:11

in her back to curve the.

0:04:110:04:15

Dancing actually really helps it because it means my

0:04:150:04:17

spine's really flexible.

0:04:170:04:18

It does hurt sometimes, but it just makes me want to push

0:04:180:04:21

through it even more and dance even more.

0:04:210:04:24

What about the fact that when you're older it might stop

0:04:240:04:31

you from doing certain dances?

0:04:310:04:32

Do you worry about that?

0:04:320:04:34

Yeah, I do worry, but I try not to think about that.

0:04:340:04:36

I just focus on what I can do now.

0:04:360:04:39

I'm still dancing now, so it's just the way life goes.

0:04:390:04:47

What has the reception been here after seeing

0:04:470:04:49

you on Taking The Next Step?

0:04:490:04:50

They all loved it and they watched it and I got loads of messages.

0:04:500:04:54

Like, well done, you're amazing.

0:04:540:04:55

They're all really kind.

0:04:550:04:56

Her powerful audition had the judges in tears and now she's onto the next

0:04:560:04:59

step in the competition.

0:04:590:05:05

As she continues with her journey on the show.

0:05:050:05:07

And finally, you might want to look away now if you're

0:05:070:05:10

eating your breakfast.

0:05:100:05:11

This is the hot dog eating contest in America and this guy

0:05:110:05:13

Joey Chestnut downed 70 hot dogs in ten minutes to be

0:05:130:05:16

crowned winner.

0:05:160:05:17

Revolting.

0:05:170:05:18

In the women's contest Miki Sudo won by munching on 38 hot dogs

0:05:180:05:21

in ten minutes.

0:05:210:05:23

Iceland's footy team have returned home from Euro 2016

0:05:230:05:26

to a heroes' welcome.

0:05:260:05:29

The small island nation reached the quarterfinals in their first

0:05:290:05:31

ever major tournament, knocking England out on the way.

0:05:310:05:34

Thousands of fans came out to do their famous clapping chant.

0:05:340:05:41

I

0:05:410:05:41

I love

0:05:410:05:41

I love that!

0:05:410:05:43

And while Icelanders have their clapping chant,

0:05:430:05:45

we want your special good luck messages for Wales ahead

0:05:450:05:47

of their Euro 2016 semifinal against Portugal tomorrow.

0:05:470:05:49

Go to Newsround online to send them in.

0:05:490:05:51

That's it from me for now, Newsround's back this

0:05:510:05:54
