Games. First, huge wild fires

are continuing in Fort McMurray No-one's been killed,

but many parts of the city I've been taking a closer look

at the latest developments. The fire started last Sunday

and Canada's Oil Sands region. Experts say it was able to spread

due to the unusual weather, which has caused more dryer

condition than normal. Alberta has had 330 wildfires

already this year, more than double the amount they would

usually have in 12 months. 88,000 residents were evacuated

and nine evacuation centres were set up in Alberta

by Thursday evening. We had, basically, two

minutes to get home, grab our staff and then

we had to leave. A huge team of firefighters,

helicopters and air tankers The fire now covers an area

larger than New York City and is expected to double in size

in the coming 24 hours. Thousands of miles away,

volunteers in Toronto have been providing aid packs to those

affected by the wildfires. While aid begins to reach those

affected, the Canadian Government is working to find temporary

housing for families A total of 40 wildfires

are still burning with five out of control, and that is causing

problems for people trying to evacuate their homes as one

of the main routes out of the area has been

covered with heavy smoke. Luckily, people have acted fast and,

with no casualties, people are hoping these fires will let up

so they can move on in The results are coming

in after elections took place One of the big stories is in London,

where people have voted We asked the BBC's man

in the know to explain more. Over the last few days,

there have been lots of, Where grown-ups get a say on who's

in charge, who is running things, which politicians get

to make decisions. We have just found out who will be

the new Mayor of London Because London is such a big

city on the world stage, this matters for everyone -

wherever you are in the country. It used to be a guy

called Boris Johnson. He is from the Labour Party,

so a different party from the one that's in charge all over

the country in Government. His dad used to be a bus driver

and it is the first time in a big, rich western country that the mayor

has been a Muslim. Hundreds of sick and injured

servicemen and women are getting ready to compete

in the Invictus Games, which start tomorrow

in Florida in the US. One Team UK competitor

is former guardsman Lamin, I've been to meet his

12-year-old son Musa, The Invictus Games already has

the royal seal of approval. Even US President Barack Obama is

ready for action. The games begin on the 8th of May

in Orlando in America and will see injured service men and women

from all over the world go head-to-head in a whole host

of different sports. Prince Harry came up with the idea

of the games two years ago. Lamin lost both his legs and an arm

during the war in Afghanistan. We were just sitting down

and watching football, he came in on his wheelchair

really fast and said, "I'm going to be in the Invictus

Games!" How difficult is it for your dad

to get around every day? Life is hard for him

because he doesn't get to do most things that a father would do

with a son or a daughter, He should be helping

the children and the wife. Why do you think the Invictus Games

are so important? It's important so we can help

the wounded and the hurt, to know that they have a meaning

in this world, not that they're just So, Musa, there's one
