I'm Ricky and this is Newsround, bringing you the best

of a mega sporting weekend with a new Wimbledon champion, a British

winner in the Grand Prix and the final stage of Le Tour in the UK.

Last year, Andy Murray made history by becoming the first British

Novak Djokovic is waking up this morning as the new Wimbledon

champion, after he came through a five set

It is the second time the Serbian has won the biggest prize

in tennis and the victory moves him to the top of the world rankings.

Djokovic called the win the most special of his career

and even ate some of Centre Court's grass in celebration.

All the most positive emotions that you can go through as a professional

sports person, being able to share that with your close friends as well

is beautiful. There was some British success as

well as a British player one of the wheelchair tennis.

The final British leg of the Tour d France starts today with nearly 200

cyclists racing along the 96 mile route from Cambridge to London.

Around 2.5 million people lined the Yorkshire route over Saturday

Italy's Vincenzo Nibali won the second stage between York

and Sheffield yesterday to take the yellow jersey,

after cycling along 124 miles of gruelling roads and hills.

and that you can do anything. The children of his age are out

on the street playing football every day.

We are in the regional league, but because it is the World Cup,

we thought we would go for a World Cup theme,

to celebrate the World Cup and tap into that carnival atmosphere that

the World Cup is bringing. This is a chance to get out there

and excel themselves and show their sporting ability.

A real big thing when you are playing is that you can reach for

the stars and you can achieve things that people thought you could not.

in a cave where it's been buried for more than 2,000 years.

The coins were originally found by a member of the public,

who stumbled across four coins in the cave in Derbyshire.

Archaeologists have since discovered 26 pieces of gold

and silver, which they say are from the Iron Age and Roman times.

the first singer to reach Number 1 based on sales and streaming.

The track called Problem featuring Iggy Azalea sold more than 100,000

copies and was streamed 712,000 times.
