hospitals, and even beaches as white people. They weren't allowed to vote | :01:36. | :01:38. | |
either. But Nelson Mandela campaigned against Apartheid, and | :01:39. | :01:40. | |
brought the whole country together when he became South Africa's first | :01:41. | :01:42. | |
black president. He was, and will continue to be, an | :01:43. | :01:51. | |
icon for people around the world. And tributes have been pouring Heads | :01:52. | :01:54. | |
of state, political and religious leaders have been remembering the | :01:55. | :01:57. | |
