Hi, I'm Jenny with another Newsround update. Coming right up... Who do

you want to see on the front cover of your magazines? And... The

massive medical breakthrough that could bring hope to people who've

been paralysed. But we'll start with Ukraine in

Eastern Europe. People there who want closer ties with Russia have

taken over government buildings in three big cities in the east of the

country. This includes the city of Donetsk, where demonstrators want to

break away from Ukraine and are calling for a vote, next month. A

few weeks ago, neighbouring country Russia took over Ukraine's southern

region of Crimea. Ukraine is a country divided over whether to be

closer to Russia or to the European Union, and has been in crisis during

recent months. Next to what could be a huge medical breakthrough. Four

paralysed men who had been unable to move from the chest down can now

move their legs, after a new treatment in America. Special

electrical pulses were used to stimulate the men's spinal cords,

meaning they were able to move legs, hips, ankles and toes, though

they're not yet able to walk on their own. Researchers say it could

bring hope to millions of people who've been paralysed. Next, who do

you want to see on the front of your favourite magazine? Well, the people

behind Britain's longest-running pre-teen mag, Girl Talk, say they're

going to start putting new faces on their front cover. The magazine's

bosses say they want to show young girls there are plenty of good

female role models out there. Take a look at Leah's report... When you

flick through your favourite magazines you are probably used to

seeing pop stars, dancers and actors on them. But would a magazine with

scientists, politicians or sports stars make you think any

differently? The magazine found that the majority of its readers aspired

to be an actor, dancer or singer, while a quarter of its readers said

the most important way for them to be described is pretty. So what are

magazine bosses doing to change that? There is no problem with

wanting to see pop stars or liking them or looking up to them. Our

campaign is really about making sure that girls see other people to look

up to. Who can we expect on the magazine? The cover is something we

will be working with gently, but we will be having Jess Ennis on the

cover in the future. We've never had a sports person on there before. We

are also going to be putting inside the magazine lots more sportswomen,

politicians, inventors, science specialists, all sorts of people for

our readers to learn about. I would love to have Malala Yousafzai on the

cover eventually, once our readers know more about her. There are some

people who might say if you do go for a sports star, someone like Jess

Ennis, she is really pretty. Do you feel you are really pushing the

boundaries here or making much of a change? It is really complicated.

Pushing the boundaries, I feel with this has to be done quite gently. We

can't do a massive, radical change because our readers may be put off.

We need to ease in these new ideas gently. But I think it's a really

important thing for us to do. We feel very excited about making some

positive changes. All this morning you've been telling us what you

to see top kids' authors like Jacqueline Wilson or JK Rowling.

Anisha thinks David Walliams should be on the front page as he's written

books, is a comedian and works on the TV. And Ollie would like sport

stars like Victoria Pendleton and Olympic hero Jessica Ennis on the

Sticking with Olympic heroes, there was great news for British

weightlifting star Zoe Smith, who's become only the second woman to win

an overall medal in a European competition. Zoe, who's still just

nineteen, took bronze at the championships in Israel. It's only

her first major international event since the London 2012 Olympics, as

she's suffered with a series of injuries since. Football now, and

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is confident his side can make a

comeback in their Champions League second leg against Paris St-Germain.

They're two goals behind but he reckons they can turn it around. At

the end of the two legs, I simply want to score more goals than them.

Pure mathematics. In this moment, 3-1. I think in the end it can be
