First, Team GB are celebrating their first gold medal

Swimmer Adam Peaty stormed to a record-breaking

The moment Team GB has been waiting for.

Adam Peaty was the favourite going into last night's 100

metre breaststroke final, having broken the world

And he didn't disappoint - leading from the start,

This is utterly brilliant, absolutely fantastic. Adam Peaty

takes Olympic gold for Great Britain by absolute streak. He has

obliterated the world record! Wow, that is all I can say! I'm ecstatic,

so proud of him, I really am. This

is how Team GB reacted back at camp. It is so surreal to get Team GB's

first gold but this is a product of seven years of work. More

importantly, I did it for my country, that means so much for me.

Team GB didn't have to wait long for a second medal -

Jazz Carlin then won silver in the 400 metre freestyle.

A lifetime best, well done, Jazz Carlin! I was watching Adam win the

gold, I had goose bumps before I swam so I knew I had to stay calm,

but I'm gobsmacked, I'm speechless! Believe it or not, Adam was scared

of water as a child. But now, at 21 years old,

he's an Olympic champion. OK, let's have a look at some

of the other Olympic headlines Defending singles tennis

champion Andy Murray breezed through his opening match

against Viktor Troicki. But he suffered a surprise defeat

later in the doubles, Britain's Lizzie Armistead ended up

fifth in the women's But the event was overshadowed

by a crash from one of the Dutch cyclists, which has led to questions

over how safe the route was. And Britain's women gymnastics

team survived a scare when Ellie Downie had this fall

during her floor routine. She recovered and, after being

checked over by medical staff, returned to help her team qualify

for the final. When he was younger,

doctors had to operate on his arms and legs

because of a very serious illness. Playing in a football match has been

a dream for him - until now. Me and Lewis are out front. I'm the

legs and arms after he fell sick when he was a baby with meningitis.

He has legs called prosthetics which help him to run and walk. And they

are off, with Marshall super fast on the attack. Marshall moving into the

players, cos I'm captain, their best players are me, Lewis, Alfie, Tracy,

and Sam Marsh. A corner kick to them. Good job, Riley! Rubbish

corner kick, that was. The second half goes well and Marshall's team

win. It was 5-2, my players fought very well. We get to lift the cup,

now. As far as captains go, Marshall is a superstar. Earlier this year he

was trained by his favourite team, Tottenham Hotspur. It looks like

that advice from players like Dele Alli and Harry Kane really helped.

according to its nine-year-old designer.

But April's Glitterbomb lost out on the show last night.
