the world - and now Malala Yousafzai wants to share her story with you.

Nearly two years after she was attacked

on a school bus in Pakistan, Malala is releasing a book about her

extraordinary life and it's written especially for young people.

Ayshah went to Edinburgh to meet her.

Back in 2012, Malala, was an ordinary schoolgirl in Pakistan,

I was on the school bus, I and my friends, we were enjoying the time.

I was on my way back home but then suddenly our bus was

But I wanted to make that dream come true.

She was badly injured and flown to the UK for treatment.

Two years on, she has recovered extremely well.

And now she speaks out about her dream or girls

Her passion for what she believes in means that world leaders

I think I am not speaking to only 500 or 200 people I'm not only

speaking to the camera but I am talking to

raising the voice of those children who are deprived of an education.
