First to Iraq where American air-strikes have continued today.

US President, Barack Obama, says the strikes are needed because

many people are in danger from the Islamic extremist group IS.

The group has threatened to harm any non-muslims in Iraq

IS, which has links to terrorist group Al-Qaeda, has taken control

of several cities in the north of the country in recent months.

A deal from Indonesia has been reunited with her family ten years

after they thought she was lost. She was separated at the tsunami in

2004. This girl was as four years old when

her seven-year-old brother were carried away clinging to wooden

planks when huge waves struck their home. A tsunami hit the country on

Boxing Day and killed more than 170,000 people in the area and tens

of thousands more in the region. The only thing I can remember was I was

chatting. People came to help and I was on land. The parents survived

the tsunami but did know if they would ever find their children

alive. But in June this year her uncle 's a girl walking home from

school who looked very much like his niece. He asked around and found the

girl had been saved by a fisherman after this and army. His elderly

mother had then raised her the next ten years. On hearing that her

daughter had been found, the Guild's mother said it was a

miracle. -- girl's. I knew she was the one. That was her. Shares now

move back to live her parents and the say they are being given fresh

hope they can find her son too -- she has now moved.

Tennis now - Andy Murray's preparations

for the US Open suffered a blow after being beaten by Jo

Wilfred Tsonga in the quarterfinals of the Rogers Cup in Canada.

Murray looked like he was going to win after leading 3-0 in the final

set, but Tsonga overtook Murray to beat him for only the second time.

In the women's tournament in Montreal, Venus and Serena Williams

are through to the semi-finals and will play against each other today.
