where Alex and Tyler had a coaching challenge. | :00:00. | :00:00.
Welcome to Newsround this Monday morning. | :00:00. | :00:14.
First, some magical news for Harry Potter | :00:15. | :00:18.
and the Cursed Child, which has won a record-breaking | :00:19. | :00:20.
nine Olivier Awards - the top prizes in theatre. | :00:21. | :00:24.
As well as winning Best New Play, Jamie Parker won Best Actor | :00:25. | :00:27.
for playing Harry, while Noma Dumezweni got | :00:28. | :00:31.
the Best Supporting Actress award for playing Hermoine. | :00:32. | :00:36.
This is an extraordinary piece of theatre, but it's still small, | :00:37. | :00:39.
I do feel from what people are saying, it's like, "Oh, gosh, | :00:40. | :00:46.
I didn't know it was possible that the theatre could do that." | :00:47. | :00:49.
Or did he write to you at the beginning? He was very classy. He | :00:50. | :01:03.
sent a lovely bunch of flowers and said to enjoy it. | :01:04. | :01:05.
Next to Australia, where scientists say two thirds | :01:06. | :01:07.
of the Great Barrier Reef has now been devastated by | :01:08. | :01:09.
A new survey of the reef shows that the latest damage is mainly | :01:10. | :01:16.
in the middle section - and last year, the northern | :01:17. | :01:19.
Bleaching happens when coral loses the algae that lives | :01:20. | :01:22.
on it, and is caused by rising water temperatures. | :01:23. | :01:26.
From the reef to the rainforest, where orangutans live. | :01:27. | :01:29.
But they're facing a big threat from something called palm oil. | :01:30. | :01:31.
Orangutans are found in Indonesia and Malaysia, but they are | :01:32. | :01:37.
critically endangered, which means the numbers | :01:38. | :01:38.
of them left in the wild have massively decreased. | :01:39. | :01:42.
Carla has studied them for years now, and has | :01:43. | :01:44.
They're basically my hairy relatives. | :01:45. | :01:48.
They're just so beautiful, so smart and so incredible, | :01:49. | :01:51.
So, what are some of the threats to orangutans? | :01:52. | :02:01.
The major threats are deforestation and habitat loss. | :02:02. | :02:04.
So, one of the problems is that the forest is cut down for | :02:05. | :02:07.
things like oil palm, or palm oil plantations. | :02:08. | :02:09.
That takes away the home for the orangutans and for | :02:10. | :02:12.
There's a very great risk of them going | :02:13. | :02:16.
extinct, maybe within the next ten years. | :02:17. | :02:18.
So we're all very worried about that. | :02:19. | :02:21.
It's a type of, well, oil, that we get from the fruit that | :02:22. | :02:30.
It's used in lots, like up to half the things you find at | :02:31. | :02:35.
the supermarket, from food to cleaning products. | :02:36. | :02:40.
It's a massive business, worth billions of pounds. | :02:41. | :02:42.
But many animals, like orangutans, pay the price. | :02:43. | :02:45.
While some companies have agreed to stop clearing | :02:46. | :02:48.
rainforests and produce palm oil safely, some conservationists say | :02:49. | :02:50.
it's still a problem because the palm oil | :02:51. | :02:55.
industry is now moving into other countries, where other | :02:56. | :02:57.
They're unhappy about the way palm oil products are | :02:58. | :03:02.
labelled, because it's sometimes unclear whether or not the palm oil | :03:03. | :03:08.
has been produced in a way that's damaging to the environment or not. | :03:09. | :03:11.
But with the huge demand for palm oil, farmers, | :03:12. | :03:13.
companies and conservationists will have to work together to have a | :03:14. | :03:16.
And if you want to read more about the issues around palm oil | :03:17. | :03:22.
there's loads of info at Newsround online. | :03:23. | :03:26.
At this time of year, you don't have to look too | :03:27. | :03:28.
far in the countryside to see spring lambs. | :03:29. | :03:31.
But while most sheep give birth to just one or two, | :03:32. | :03:34.
at one farm in East Yorkshire things are going a bit differently. | :03:35. | :03:39.
Sheep normally give birth to just one or two lambs, | :03:40. | :03:54.
so shepherds here estimate it's a one in a million chance that this | :03:55. | :03:57.
A scan revealed mum was first carrying just four, | :03:58. | :04:02.
The lass that does nights was telling me about | :04:03. | :04:16.
She said, the ewe with four's lambed. | :04:17. | :04:19.
When I came with Debbieinto the shed, the fifth lamb | :04:20. | :04:21.
They are now fed with supplements that are similar to baby formula. | :04:22. | :04:25.
Which means she would normally only have two lambs. | :04:26. | :04:33.
When she has five, she can't produce enough milk and have enough teats | :04:34. | :04:36.
It just makes it that bit more difficult for her to do. | :04:37. | :04:44.
As for mum, well, she's having a few Easter treats herself now | :04:45. | :04:47.
That's all from me, Newsround's back right here in about half an hour. | :04:48. | :05:03.
