Hello, I'm Hayley and this is your afternoon slice of Newsround.

Here's what's being going on today.

The goats munching their way through a forest clear-up.

And five wackier you didn't know ab out the election.

First, let's remind you of the big news for the future of the country.

The results of the General Election mean that Theresa May is back

in the Prime Minister's house, 10 Downing Street.

But the results of Thursday's vote weren't as straightforward

as people expected.

Here's Ricky with how it happened.

In a little over 12 hours' time, polling stations

will open at the end

of what's proved to be an unpredictable general

election campaign.

Nothing has turned out as people expected.

Theresa May is Prime Minister again today so not much

has changed, right?

Well, not quite.

Many people are describing this result as a huge shock.

Now Theresa May called the election even though

she didn't have to, expecting that she would have a big win.

Instead, she couldn't win a clear victory.

The Conservative Party can only carry on by joining up

with a smaller party.

Well, there's Theresa May.

She's leaving number 10 Downing Street.

She is now on her way to talk to the Queen about trying

to form a government.

Theresa May is now back from Buckingham Palace.

That means she will continue as the Prime Minister and carry

on living there at number 10 Downing Street.

Now, this was supposed to be their big winning moment.

Instead, she is now in real trouble for not getting the big win

she said she was going for.

I have just been to see Her Majesty the Queen and I will

now form a Government.

A Government that can provide certainty and lead Britain forward

at this critical time for our country.

Other politicians will be looking at Theresa May and asking how long

she might be able to keep going on for.

But she says she wants to stay as Prime Minister.

But the election wasn't all about the big party leaders.

It also involved Lord Buckethead and Mr Fishfinger.

I kid you not!

Here's five fun things you might have missed yesterday.

As we know, there's been so much talk about

the general election, right?

And I'm about to enter that.

Here's five funny things you probably didn't know happened.

So Lord Buckethead got 249 votes against Theresa May.

And over in Scotland, one SNP candidate won by just two

votes out of more than 41,000 votes.

What a close call!

And Mr Fishfinger - yeah, that's his real name -

got 309 votes against Tim Farron, leader of the Liberals Democrats.

And the vote in Kensington was suspended, as the counters

were too tired to continue.

And in Mansfield - oh, no!

They managed to say the wrong person won!

Did they not watch the Oscars?

To some football news now and Harry Kane will captain England

in the World Cup Qualifier against Scotland in Glasgow later.

Scotland are currently 4th in the group, with seven points.

England are top, and Harry Kane says he's really exited

about the new role but there are a lot of other talented players

who could do the job.

Every player growing up as a footballer would dream

of being England captain one day and I'm no different.

You wear an armband, I think sometimes it gets built up

a lot to be a captain.

Obviously, it's a fantastic thing, but like I said, in this team,

and I think in this day and age, there should be more than just

one leader out there.

Next to flooding America, that's caused trees to fall down

and weeds to grow all over a public park in Brooklyn.

But it's not the park rangers who are clearing up

the mess ? it's these guys.

Max, Cinnamon, Swirl and Unicorn are Forest goats who have

been brought to the park to munch their way through all their

favourite green leafy snacks.

And it's not only the goats who have loved being there.

I love that there are goats in Prospect Park.

It's awesome.

I love goats and seeing more wildlife...

Well, I guess it's not really wildlife but seeing more animals

in Prospect Park is really great.

I think I remember that they are used to,

like, chomping plants, like, yum, yum, yum!

Now drone racing has been around for a while but it

just got supersized.

Check it out!

Hold on tight!

This is the drone Champions League.

Traffic stopped along with the Champs-Elysees in Paris

to make way for drone racing.

More than 35 of the world's best drone pilots took part.

Around 150,000 people came to watch and it was shown

in more than 100 countries.

Pilots compete in heats.

Getting your strategy and tactics right is really important.

And the track is filled with different obstacles

to catch the pilots out.

This stage's winner was from a German team.

I'm just really happy about how it went and it's an amazing event

with a lot of people and we didn't expect to win, but we did,

so we're just really, really happy.

So watch the skies.

There will be more stages through the year and the final

is in Berlin in December.
