Siobhan-Marie O'Connor is getting very close indeed. Silver to Great

Britain. Two more silver medals in the pool for Team GB. This is your

Olympic Newsround coming to you live from Copacabana beach, here in

Brazil. Hello and welcome to a rather wet

and very windy and a pretty great Copacabana beach. It is one of the

main talking points in this city. People love coming here. But the

weather isn't great today and that's because it is winter right here in

Brazil so it's pretty changeable, and that bad weather has meant that

today's rowing events have had to be cancelled which is really

disappointing for Team GB, who have quite a few medal hopefuls. It has

not dampened the spirits of the swimmers who won silver medals

overnight in the men's four by 200 metres relay and in the women's

medley with Siobhan-Marie O'Connor. I never thought I would be an

Olympic athlete, but if you love something and work hard, that's what

I've done and I am just over the moon. Well, fantastic news for her.

Hoping to be over the moon is Tour de France winner Chris Froome in the

cycling. He's going for gold in the men's time trial. He set off

earlier, as did fellow Brit Geraint Thomas. There is still a mystery

over what turned the diving pool a murky green colour last night. Some

people think it could have been down to algae, or even somebody dying it

to match the colour of the Brazil flag. The water was tested and found

to be safe for diving to go ahead. Women's weightlifting is happening

right about now, featuring one of Team GB's youngest athletes. She is

only 17 years old, Rebecca Tyler. We caught up with three of her sister

is a little earlier. Hello, I'm Sophie. I'm Emily. And I'm Lisa. Our

sister is an Olympic athlete. The best thing about my sister is that

she teaches different weightlifting techniques. She looks after us and

she is really helpful and kind. And she's just nice to be around. I

really miss Rebecca but we stay in touch at least every day. By on the

phone, Skype, like different social media. I'm looking forward to her

coming home. Our house is really competitive, you can be having

breakfast and we are trying to lift each other up and see how many

people we can lift up. It's really nice to watch her on TV. She's met

Andy Murray, Nicola Evans and everybody. I'm a bit jealous she is

over there getting to see all the stars and stuff. When I'm watching

her I feel a bit nervous for her. And it's just Carey watching in case

she misses out, but she never really does. I'm hoping that Rebecca is

you for joining us. Helen, your fiance, is taking but in the

Olympics, what is she doing? She's a row in the women's pair. She is

defending champion here. At the moment it's really frustrating

because winds mean that the rowing events have had to be cancelled so

they are very much on edge. Psyched up and raring to race and at the

moment it's not happening. She won gold at London 2012, what is it like

supporting her and being out here? It's terrifying, I hate it. It's so

stressful because you know how much the athletes have gone through to

get here and how much it means to win gold. Something as simple as the

weather can throw a spanner in the works. Will they be in action

tomorrow? That is the hope but the weather is also forecast to be bad.

Somehow this regatta is going to have to be packed into a couple of

days. I thought it would always be sunny and bright here. Have you

spotted any wildlife? You cannot miss it. There are at least four or

five species of stunning birds we can see now. So yeah, it's

fantastic. And algae in the water, is that why the pool went green? I

would say so. In a warm and humid environment you can develop algae

very quickly if you do not use the right chemicals. Best of luck to
