Good morning, guys - Ricky here, live this Tuesday with some | :00:00. | :00:07.
We meet the teenager hoping for Olympic glory... | :00:08. | :00:11.
And we want your view on what to do with bullies. | :00:12. | :00:13.
But first to a big cheating scandal in athletics that could mean one | :00:14. | :00:27.
of the world's biggest countries is banned from the next Olympics. | :00:28. | :00:34.
A report claims Russia has been giving its athletes an unfair | :00:35. | :00:36.
advantage by using drugs to help them perform better in competitions. | :00:37. | :00:39.
The organisation behind the report recommends the country's athletics | :00:40. | :00:41.
team should be banned from future events including the Rio Olympics | :00:42. | :00:44.
Russia denies all the claims against them. | :00:45. | :00:56.
Next, to a warning that too many kids are leaving school | :00:57. | :00:59.
The Amateur Swimming Association says that all primary school | :01:00. | :01:02.
children should be able to swim 25 metres without any help | :01:03. | :01:05.
But new figures show that only half are reaching that mark. | :01:06. | :01:15.
The ASA recommends every child needs to spend | :01:16. | :01:17.
about 25 hours learning to swim So are you getting enough swim time? | :01:18. | :01:20.
Here's what some of you have to say. | :01:21. | :01:30.
I learned how to swim in year four. We went as a class. On Tuesday | :01:31. | :01:40.
mornings. I do enjoy it and think it is important to building up | :01:41. | :01:45.
strength. I think more kids should be swimming because it is a really | :01:46. | :01:48.
good sport, it keeps you fit. It can build up muscles and give you an | :01:49. | :01:52.
awareness of what happens in the water. I think it is important that | :01:53. | :01:57.
other children should swim because if you are in danger, they would go | :01:58. | :02:00.
back to what they have learned. Now, some of Team GB's top athletes | :02:01. | :02:06.
will find out today if they've been And teenage Skeet shooter Amber Hill | :02:07. | :02:10.
is one of them. In her sport guns are fired | :02:11. | :02:14.
at moving clay targets and Amber has to go through all kinds of rules | :02:15. | :02:17.
and training just to take part. The BBC's Nick Hope went to meet her | :02:18. | :02:20.
for Newsround, to find out more. Amber would say she is just a normal | :02:21. | :02:37.
teenager. I am very girly. I am actually doing a beauty course. I | :02:38. | :02:41.
think it is nice to do people's nails and have a chat and this is | :02:42. | :02:46.
something I am passionate about. She also has a gun. When I tell people | :02:47. | :02:52.
what I do I do get shocked reactions but that is the nice thing about it, | :02:53. | :02:57.
I can have a balance. I was not just given a gun, I had to have some | :02:58. | :03:01.
training and coaches, I was never left unsupervised. You have to wear | :03:02. | :03:07.
all the protective gear, glasses, hats, earphones. I have never heard | :03:08. | :03:12.
of an accident happening. How much influence did your grandad have on | :03:13. | :03:16.
your career? He has been a massive influence on my shooting. It started | :03:17. | :03:21.
at school when I was doing the girly sports like copy and net all, but | :03:22. | :03:24.
there is something about choosing which is a bit different and my | :03:25. | :03:29.
grandad did it. She had good talent at a young age. She listens which is | :03:30. | :03:35.
good and she did very well with it. Amber has been winning gold medals | :03:36. | :03:41.
since she was 16 and now she has made the Team GB squad for Rio and | :03:42. | :03:45.
wants to become the first British woman ever to win is shooting gold. | :03:46. | :03:50.
For all my competitions, I go there to win. To represent my country in | :03:51. | :03:55.
the Olympics has been a dream for my grandad and my family. Hopefully I | :03:56. | :04:00.
can inspire some other youngsters to get into the sport. It makes you so | :04:01. | :04:04.
determined and focused on what you want to do in life. | :04:05. | :04:07.
Now, we're asking for your help to do something a | :04:08. | :04:09.
Now, we know it can be really hard if you are being bullied at school | :04:10. | :04:19.
or online. Lots of you worry about it. We want to know what is the best | :04:20. | :04:23.
way to stop it from happening? Should we offer help and support to | :04:24. | :04:28.
Belize or was it better to make sure they are punished for what they are | :04:29. | :04:33.
doing? On the 19th of November, during anti-bullying week, we will | :04:34. | :04:37.
find out what you think is the best way to stop bullying. In a special | :04:38. | :04:41.
debate, you can have your say by taking part in an online vote. Vote | :04:42. | :04:44.
now on whether it is more important for release to be punished or | :04:45. | :04:52.
helped. You can do that online. Join me in half an hour for more big news | :04:53. | :04:57.
and possibly the worst penalty ever. | :04:58. | :05:01. |
