But first, grab a pen and paper, we're starting with a history quiz.

First question - how many times a year did Elizabeth I have a bath?

Nelson, Britain's greatest sailor, suffer from? If you watch Horrible

Histories you might know the answers. If not, we'll tell you at

the end of the programme. We can learn all sorts of interesting

things by studying the way people lived in the past, but now the way

history is taught in schools could be about to change.

These pupils are learning about the Romans, Sue do they think it is an

important subject? It is very important because it is very

inspiration will. It is fun because you get to do projects on things

that you did not really know because it might sound a bit boring

but it when you of into it, it is not that all win. I like learning

is such a huge subject. How do schools decide how to teach it? The

government decide which topics are chosen but now MPs want to change

the way history is taught in England. Many students choose to

drop history before GCSEs, with only 41% taking the subject in year

10. A new report says children should have to learn history at

secondary school for five years instead of two, and teachers should

not jump backwards and forwards in time but should learn thing as in

the order that they happened. should be an element for five years

but I do not think it should be compulsory because some people do

not enjoy it. So while some people think history is boring, it looks

like in the future we will have to learn more about the past.

"unacceptable and appalling" by football bosses. At the end of the

Manchester derby yesterday, someone threw a coin from the crowd,

hitting Man United's Rio Ferdinand on the head. An investigation has

started to work out who did it. But how can we stop this kind of thing

from happening? The moment the beautiful game

turned ugly. Robin van Persie had just scored a goal when Rio

Ferdinand was hit on the head by a 2p coin. It left him needing

treatment for a cut above his left eye.

Manchester City has condemned the coin throwing and apologised to Rio.

They've said they are looking at CCTV footage with the police to try

and find who did it. The FA has launched an investigation and its

chairman's said that whoever did it In the last Premier League season,

24 people were arrested by the police for throwing things onto the

pitch during a game. That number has fallen in recent years. The FA

told us that clubs and police work together to crack down on things

like this. It said stewards and CCTV help to identify offenders so

they can be arrested and banned from grounds. One suggestion now

being talked about is using netting I think you've got to look at some

way where it doesn't affect the view but at the same time it can be

protective against missile throwing. Man City is a fantastic club and

the supporters are great but you cannot condone this, it is

completely out of order. Luckily, Rio wasn't badly hurt. He

even managed to get dressed up to appear at this weekend's other big

showdown in Manchester that evening. The X Factor final. We couldn't get

away without giving up some huge praise for this man. Lionel Messi.

The Barcelona player has set a new record for the most goals scored in

a year by netting his 86th since January. The Argentine scoring

twice in a Spanish league game last night. So let's take a closer look

Lionel Messi has now scored 86 goals in 2012. Beating a record

that's lasted 40 years. Messi has scored his goals in just 66 games.

He's scored 74 goals for his club Barcelona and 12 for his national

team Argentina. If you compare Messi with one of the best strikers

in the Premier League, Robin van Persie, Messi comes out way on top.

Van Persie has scored 38 times for club and country so far in 2012,

way behind Messi's 86. Amazingly, Messi still has three games left to

add even more goals to his total for the year. So who knows how many

winter now, let's get us into the papers! But to get more medals, we

need more medal hopefuls! These kids have been skiing, snow

boarding and doing other winter sports from a really young age.

caught on camera. Footage of a fireball flashing over the night

sky in Texas, America have got space experts excited. The camera

picked up the flash which they believe is a meteor entering the

Earth's atmosphere and then burning up. NASA managed to track fragments

of the meteor, which landed in North Houston. Amazing!
