Newsround. But first to Turkey, where police

and protestors have gone head to head in a day of violence in

Istanbul. Two weeks of protests against the way the country's run

seemed to be dying down. But overnight things got a lot worse

with rubber bullets and tear gas fired. Now Turkey's Prime Minister

says he'll show "no more tolerance" to those responsible.

The night skies in Turkey lit by fireworks - but they're not being

set off in celebration. They're being used as weapons against

police. Trouble was originally sparked by government plans to build

over a park in Istanbul. Two weeks on, protestors now have a bigger

issue, accusing Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's government of being

too strict with controls on every gas and sprayed water cannon. Two

BBC reporters were caught in the middle. I am wearing this gas mask

because it has been full of tear gas. The police have been telling

the protest is that they are not planning to raid the park and get

rid of the protest is, they just want to clear out this area in the

and three people killed since the protests started. But this is the

strongest violence yet. Unrest has now spread to the capital Ankara -

Two consoles, two flashy presentations and one battle to

become the next big thing in gaming. Playstation decided to give away

it's biggest secret last night at the E3 technology show - what their

machine looks like. And yep - it looks pretty much the same as the

Xbox. What are the big differences and how are games fans reacting. The

Xbox One needs a daily internet connection for games to work but you

don't need the net to play on the Playstation four. The playstation

will be �349 - that's �80 cheaper. But the thing that got the biggest

cheers was Sony saying it wouldn't restrict use of second hand games -

so gamers are free to pass them on to friends - something Xbox One

technology won't do. It's been seven years since the last generation of

consoles came out - back then the Nintendo Wii out sold the XBOX 360

and Playstation three. But Nintendo's new console, the Wii U

which came out at Christmas, has failed to meet sales targets. And

with the rise of gaming on phones and tablets, both companies will

have to work hard to convince people theirs is this generation's must

have console. Next to big news if you're in Year

seven at secondary school, or are heading there soon. You'll be the

first to study a new version of GCSE exams, announced for English schools

today. Teaching unions say they're worried about the changes, but the

man in charge of education in England, Michael Gove, says they

will improve standards. Here's what it means for you. There'll be harder

exams with more essay questions that you can't retake. You'll need higher

marks for each grade. And there will be less course work and modules. The

changes are only in England but here's how the rest of the UK's

affected. In stark contrast to the direction

being taken in England by Michael Gove, it will very much focus on

classwork. Pupils will carry on having modular assessment, have

coursework and be able to resit exams. Principles in Northern
