to know, coming up. We take a look very closely at these rare spiders

on the loose in south-west England. And we're talking UFOs. Still a

mystery or the real deal? But first - the riots seem to have finally

calmed down for now. It was much quieter across England last night.

The heavy rain and tens of thousands of extra police on the

streets put a stop to four nights of vandalism, violence and looting.

Courts stayed open all night though, dealing with everyone arrested. And

the Prime Minister David Cameron has been holding a special

emergency debate on what's been happening. These were the streets

last night, much calmer. Police had far fewer incidents to

deal with and people stayed at home. In Birmingham, a special service

was held to remember three young men who died in the violence. But

while the streets were calm, the courts in Birmingham, Manchester

and London were seriously busy. Many stayed open all night last

night, and all day today. They're dealing with all those caught by

the police during the last few days. So far, more than a thousand people

have been arrested, mostly teenage or older, but some who are kids.

One eleven year old boy has appeared in court charged with

stealing a bin from a shop, and an eleven year old girl in Nottingham

has pleaded guilty to criminal damage. She's been given a referral

order which means appearing before a panel of people and agreeing to

make amends for what she's done. Officers are now concentrating on

catching suspects. They've released lots of CCTV pictures of people

caught in the act, in the hope that people will recognise them and give

their names to the police. But everyone's now hoping that the

worst of the violence is over, and communities will once again be safe.

MPs have been called back from their holidays for an emergency

debate to discuss what's been going on. Prime Minister David Cameron

said police got their riot tactics wrong, and there just weren't

enough officers on the streets. Earlier, I went to the Houses of

Parliament to find out exactly what MPs have been talking about.

Right now, members of parliament discussing these riots. Have they

got any answers? The politicians are spending hours coming up with

answers. There are so many different theories. The main one is

that right at the start, there were not enough police officers. Some

people are suggesting that maybe there is a problem with society,

maybe mothers and fathers not staying together has had an impact

on kids growing up. Have they any ideas of what to do next? David

Cameron announced some things they are changing. The police will have

more powers to get people to remove face masks. There are also

discussions of shutting down things like Facebook and Twitter if people

are spreading trouble. The riots have had a effect on the sporting

games this week. The Premier League Match between Tottenham and Everton

on Saturday at White Hart Lane has been postponed. Some kick-off times

could be made earlier too, to help police.

and what's behind it. And you can see our programme - 'Behind the

at 6.25pm. Back to footy for a sec, there's

bad news for Arsenal fans. It looks like both Cesc Fabregas and Samir

Nasri are about to confirm their moves from the club. Nasri's on his

way to Manchester City and Fabregas, well, we always kinda knew he'd be

heading for Barcelona. Arsenal say they'll use the money to buy fresh

new players. And if you want to compete with the big boys, you need

them! Now, there's a very important

cricket match going on right now. If England win the Third Test at

Edgbaston, they'll become the top team in the world.

After destroying India's batsmen yesterday, England are racking up

the runs thanks to wonderboys Strauss and Cook. Right now,

England are on 359 for two wickets. Looking good.

Next up, Spiders, do you love them or hate them? Hate them, of course,

who would love them? Well bad news for you, but good news for me and

anyone else who loves the little darlings, loads of them are being

released into the wild today. Ladybird spiders, which are

Britain's rarest breed have been facing extinction for many years.

But after breeding them in captivity, 30 of them are ready to

be released into the wild in Dorset. They're being moved in empty water

bottles which can then be dug into the ground to make artificial

burrows. Next up, we're talking about aliens

from outer space. Ever seen one? Well, over the years thousands of

people claim they've seen UFOs floating around in our skies

Government files have just been released including 34 sightings.

But they also show that they were never properly investigated.

Welcome to this top secret government department. OK, it's

just a room in the Newsround office - but for now, lets pretend it's a

top secret government department. Here are some of the pictures sent

into to the Ministry of Defence proving once and for all that alien

life does, definitely, 100% exist. Take this photo of a UFO over the

skies of Wiltshire, clearly showing an alien object. Absolutely not a

smudge on the lens. And this one, a sketch of an alien space ship seen

in Blackburn. Come on, you can't always have your camera when you

see an alien lifeform! Over the years there've been thousands of

UFO sightings including this one back in 1967 which turned out to be

a fake. But some are harder to explain. This is a photo the

government was sent of Retford town hall in Nottinghamshire, but look

closely and in the background is a mysterious object.

One government file tells the mysterious story of woman who said

she'd seen a UFO. Police came to the scene with two strange men in

spacesuits and dark glasses. But later, when she called the police

station- they said they'd just sent two ordinary policemen. By the way,

that isn't an actual photo - I'm just pretty handy with a computer.

The government says they've never had the time, money or people to

investigate these claims properly. And now the department that deals

with them has been shut down. So it looks like they'll all remain a

mystery. Now forget UFOs, what I really

really want to see is Olympic diver Tom Daley.

Well, now you can because he's been turned into a sculpture.

Our very own Tom Daley, usually seen flying through the air of a

swimming pool is now flying through Heathrow Airport. This life-size

sculpture shows Tom in full diving flow greeting passengers as they

arrive in London. And last up, to somewhere I reckon

Tom Daley would probably like to go on his holidays. This is said to be

the biggest waterpark in the world! It opened this summer in China's

capital, Beijing. It's got 50 slides and 30,000 people can enjoy
