Leah here, with all the latest from Team GB's best day

at Rio so far.

Coming up:

It's Gold for Great Britain.

The boys are in tears!

A gold rush for Team GB - first, in the diving.

Another gold in the kayak slalom.

And three bronze medals, including one for Max Whitlock

in the gymnastics.

It was a massive day for Team GB in Rio yesterday,

with a total of five medals won, including two gold medals.

Ricky's sent us this round-up of all the action,

on what was a 'Wonderful Wednesday' for British Olympic athletes.

Was the pool turning green a stroke of good luck for Great Britain?

Well, it seemed to do the job for Chris Mears and Jack Laugher,

as they won Great Britain's first Gold in diving.

And they weren't the only ones.

There was plenty of success on Day Five here at the Olympics,

on one of the most successful days of the Olympics so far.

What a moment for Chris and Jack, as they claimed the diving

title with the men's synchronised 3-metre springboard.

Yes!

People are going to be talking about this moment for years to come.

How do you feel?

It's just unbelievable!

What we've done today, it's incredible.

You said you'd have settled for Silver.

Are you totally thinking now, forget that?

Yeah, on our last dive, I knew...

I was following our scores all the way through.

Not, like, I wasn't concentrating on it loads, but I knew

where we were and I knew that we'd done very well.

We were sat on poolside just waiting for the Chinese to go and I looked

at Chris and I was like, oh, yeah, we'd settle for Silver.

I was like, a Silver medal at the Olympic Games,

that is unbelievable if you get a silver medal at the Olympic Games!

And then to see the Chinese not quite do it and we grasped that

Gold, that is the most ridiculous moment in my entire sporting career.

Joe Clarke, who's 23, won the men's kayak single Gold.

He's been canoeing since he was 11 years old.

From Golds to loads of Bronze medals too, as Team GB start

to climb that medal table.

Yes, four Bronze medals.

Max Whitlock won GB's first all-round gymnastics Olympic medal

in 108 years, as he took Bronze.

Chris Froome also took Bronze in the Olympic men's

individual time trial.

Just to be here and to have medalled again, it's just been

an amazing experience.

Absolutely amazing experience.

I'll definitely look back on this in a few years' time

and be pretty happy.

Another Bronze - this time, in shooting.

Steven Scott got a perfect score of 30 for GB.

And Sally Conway, just look at that face, she was beaming with her judo

Bronze medal.

So there you have it - Wonderful Wednesday.

Although the weather's been a bit miserable today,

all of these medals have given us lots to smile about on Day Five.

there's something quite amazing happening tonight.

The Perseid meteor shower is described as a fantastic,

natural fireworks display, with up to 200 meteors shooting

through the sky per hour.

But will the weather be good enough to see it all clearly?

The BBC's Tomasz Schafernaker has the details.

It's that time of the year where we're in for an astronomical

spectacle, the Perseid meteor shower.

The Earth is going to go through a trail left over

by a comet, a meteor trail.

It will peak at around the 12th of August.

And the best time is between 11pm and 4am.

The weather is absolutely crucial.

It looks as though the southern half of the UK will have clear

spells most of this week.

But the north is going to be a little bit more tricky,

with weather fronts coming again off the Atlantic.

That means there will be a bit more cloud around

and maybe a bit of rainfall.

But overall, wherever you are in the UK this week,

there's certainly going to be at least one or two evenings

of catching a glimpse of those meteor showers.

French player Paul Pogba's ?89 million transfer this week

meant his name was on everyone's lips, but who exactly is he?

Pogba is now the most expensive player in the world,

after moving to Manchester United for a cool ?89 million.

He's also a pretty powerful player.

O is for octopus.

When he played in Italy, he was nicknamed 'Il Polpo Paul',

which means 'The Octopus'.

It's because he has long, strong legs like tentacles.

G is for golden boy.

He was given an award for the best under-21 player in Europe in 2013.

It's also for goals.

The nifty midfielder scored 34 for Italian giants Juventus.

B is for brothers.

Pogba has two footballing brothers.

One plays for French side Saint-Etienne and the other plays

for Scottish club Partick Thistle.

A is for advice.

He listened to his mum, who said it was his destiny

to return to Man United after he left in 2012.
