It's Sunday morning, Ayshah here, and right now thousands of people -

some in fancy dress, are on the start line ready to start the 2014

London Marathon. This is Newsround. 36,000 runners are set to take on

the famous marathon course and all eyes will be on Mo Farah. The double

Olympic champion is trying to become the first British man to win for 21

years. Olympic rowers Katherine Grainger and Anna Watkins get the

main race under way before taking part themselves - and a few minutes

ago Tom Daley started the mini marathon.

Next, to the crisis in Ukraine. The country's Interior Minister says

security forces have started an operation to remove pro-Russian

militants that took control of government and police buildings in

the eastern part of the country. Earlier Russia warned that any use

of force in eastern Ukraine could ruin crisis talks due later this

week. Politicians in America have expressed concern over the attacks.

Ukraine is a country divided over whether to be closer to Russia, or

to the European Union, and has been in crisis during recent months.

over on the Newsround website. UN scientists are expected to call

for a trebling in the use of renewable energy sources like wind

and solar power, in a major report on climate change out today. They

say if big efforts aren't made by 2030 global temperatures could rise

by two degrees Celsius, which could have a bad effect on animals and the

environment. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

have taken to the water today in New Zealand for a high-speed boat ride.

The couple earlier headed to a junior rugby match, where each of

them coached a team, with Prince William's team being the winners.

The sporty day is part of their three week tour of New Zealand and

Australia. Football and Arsenal scraped through

to the FA Cup Final beating the holders Wigan Athletic on penalties

at Wembley. They'll now face either Hull or Sheffield United who play

today just after 4pm. The early kick-off in the Premier League sees

one of the most anticipated games of the season taking place - when

leaders Liverpool take on Man City at Anfield. If Liverpool win they'll

take a huge step towards a first title in 24 years.
