First this morning to sad news from Orlando in America.

:00:11.:00:17.

In the early hours of Sunday morning there were attacks there.

:00:18.:00:19.

Cities across America have been laying flowers and candles,

:00:20.:00:26.

to show people in Orlando that they care.

:00:27.:00:29.

It's because of attacks that happened there in a nightclub

:00:30.:00:32.

in the early hours of Sunday morning.

:00:33.:00:35.

Sadly 50 people died and 53 others were injured.

:00:36.:00:39.

The man responsible for the attack was shot by police, before

:00:40.:00:42.

The American President, Barack Obama has spoken out

:00:43.:00:49.

We know enough to say that this was an act of terror and an act of hate.

:00:50.:01:04.

We are united in grief and outrage and resolve to defend our people.

:01:05.:01:07.

We don't know exactly why the attack happened,

:01:08.:01:11.

but it could have been the result of hatred towards gay people.

:01:12.:01:13.

And in the city of Orlando people are trying to come

:01:14.:01:17.

As the investigation continues there are several words, shock, outrage

:01:18.:01:31.

and fear but there is also a city trying to make sense of the

:01:32.:01:35.

senseless and they are doing it in their own way.

:01:36.:01:36.

to donate blood for the victims in hospital as the community come

:01:37.:01:43.

together to show their support and do what they can to help.

:01:44.:01:46.

Remember, if anything you see in the news upsets you,

:01:47.:01:48.

Football now, and Northern Ireland's first match at a European

:01:49.:01:54.

The team's defence was praised for getting the better of Poland's

:01:55.:01:58.

attacks in the first half, but it wasn't enough

:01:59.:02:00.

and Milik scored for Poland to finish 1-0 ahead in Nice.

:02:01.:02:05.

In ten days' time, adults across the country are being asked

:02:06.:02:07.

to vote on a decision that could affect our lives

:02:08.:02:09.

Whether the UK should stay in or leave a club of 28

:02:10.:02:16.

countries in Europe, called the European Union.

:02:17.:02:18.

But what is the EU, and what does it do?

:02:19.:02:20.

Here's what you need to know in 60 seconds.

:02:21.:02:24.

They ruled the charts and Newsround was

:02:25.:02:33.

That is when the UK joined what is now known as the

:02:34.:02:37.

It's the club of 28 countries from around

:02:38.:02:40.

It's got its own parliament and its own money, the

:02:41.:02:47.

euro, used by most of its members but not the UK.

:02:48.:02:52.

Countries joined the EU because they thought it would

:02:53.:02:55.

Now David Cameron has promised a vote to

:02:56.:03:00.

whether the UK should stay in leave the EU.

:03:01.:03:09.

Supporters of the EU think the UK is stronger because of part

:03:10.:03:13.

of it, that is because we buy and sell lots of things to European

:03:14.:03:16.

People who want us to leave the EU says it forces too many

:03:17.:03:20.

They say it will give British people more

:03:21.:03:23.

control over issues like immigration.

:03:24.:03:24.

It will be up to adults to decide what's best when

:03:25.:03:27.

Now the decision might be up to adults, but whatever is decided

:03:28.:03:32.

So between now and the big vote on the 23rd of June,

:03:33.:03:36.

Nazia and Ricky will be finding out what kids in different

:03:37.:03:39.

parts of the UK think - as well as meeting children in other

:03:40.:03:42.

I've come to the Costa Del Sol in sunny Spain to meet some of the

:03:43.:03:50.

thousands of British people who've moved to live here all year round.

:03:51.:03:57.

There is a lot of sun and a lot of places to meet.

:03:58.:04:03.

We can go to the beach any time you want.

:04:04.:04:06.

European Union club agreed to make it as easy

:04:07.:04:10.

for people to travel, work and live

:04:11.:04:12.

Now there is a big argument over the vote to stay in or

:04:13.:04:16.

to leave the EU and what it will mean to people back

:04:17.:04:19.

Which is where I am - Warsaw, the capital

:04:20.:04:23.

Hundreds of thousands of Poles have moved from here to the UK

:04:24.:04:29.

since Poland joined the European Union in 2004.

:04:30.:04:32.

My uncle works in a coffee shop and he makes more money.

:04:33.:04:38.

As well as talking to kids and teens here in Poland, I'll be

:04:39.:04:41.

looking at why people coming to the UK from other EU countries

:04:42.:04:44.

has been such a big talking point, ahead of the big vote

:04:45.:04:48.
