Good morning, Newsrounders. Leah here, live this Tuesday with loads

on the way, including... Find out who's been trying to persuade the

world's best footballer to rejoin Man United and stick around for the

seal who ended up 50 miles from the sea.

But first this morning, the makers of one of the world's most popular

on-line games, Moshi Monsters, are being criticised for reinforcing

negative views of people with facial disfigurements, like scars and

spots. A charity called Changing Faces is asking people to sign a

petition aimed at forcing Moshi makers Mind Candy to change the name

of baddies like Fishlips and FreakFace. They say the characters

make kids connect disfigurement with being bad and could encourage

bullying. Mind Candy say they're sorry for causing offence. Last

summer, Changing Faces made a similar complaint about Lego.

Next up, if you've ever wondered what life was like as a soldier

during World War One then you'll be able to find out from today.

Millions of pages of diary entries, describing life on the front line

are being made available online. The National Archives is releasing them

as part of events to mark a hundred years since the First World War

started. Next animal charities say there's

been a big increase in the number of feral cats living without homes in

London. They say they're causing trouble by living in people's

gardens but as Martin has been finding out, there could be a

solution to the problem. Sport now and Arsenal are back on

top of the Premier League this morning.

Wild on the streets of London is no way to live for your average cat but

that is just where tens of thousands of cats find themselves. The number

of feral cats round year is becoming a real problem. You do not want your

cat any more, you throw it out, it is a throwaway society. The cat will

multiply and we will end up with hundreds. In a matter of months,

there are 20 cats. Feral cats were born without a home, so they are

often scared of people. Many charities cannot find them a family

to live with, leaving them on the streets, in danger and unwanted. But

there is somewhere that they are not just wanted but needed.

The Cotswolds, one of the most beautiful areas of the country. Out

here in the countryside, these cats have the skills that can pay the

bills. We need them for vermin control. This time of year, mice

start to come in. These two cats were without a home in London but

now they are on the road, travelling to the Midlands, as part of a plan

by a charity to move as many cats as possible to areas of countryside

where they are needed. They will have a warm bath to live in, plenty

of milk and as many mice as they can get a hold of. It could be the

perfect solution to help thousands more cats lead London behind.

Sport now and Arsenal are back on top of the Premier League this

morning. They leap-frogged Manchester City after a 2-1 win over

Aston Villa last night. Jack Wilshire sent them on their way and

then set up Olivier Giroud for the second. Christian Benteke pulled one

back for Villa but it wasn't enough to halt the Gunners' impressive run

of form. At this period of the season, it is vital to be

consistent. Everybody is focused. I'm glad we did it today.

And sticking with footy, Cristiano Ronaldo was crowned the greatest

footballer on the planet last night. He saw off competition from

Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery to win the

Ballon d'Or. It's voted for by fellow stars, managers and

journalists from around the world. His son, Cristiano Junior, joined

him on stage. Afterwards the Real Madrid star revealed Rio Ferdinand

tried to persuade him to re-join Man United last summer. He is a great

friend of mine. We are neighbours. It is fantastic. He tried to change

my mind. And now to the incredible sea rescue

that happened 40 miles from the coast! Andy Murray's just started

his first round game in the Australian open. We'll let you know

how he got on, and take a more in-depth look who might win the

tournament right here at 8.15am. That's all from me. A seal had

somehow managed to find it's way onto a farmer's field in Appleby in

Cumbria. Rescue teams believe the seal must have swam at least 50

miles inland by mistake. After a bit of a struggle to get the creature

into a special container, he was eventually released at a spot

popular with seal colonies on the West Coast of England.
