We've got muggles...plans for a UK Quidditch Premier League.

And mowing...lawn mower racing in Finland.

First, around 200,000 people living close to America's tallest dam have

been told it's not safe for them to return home yet.

The area around the Oroville Dam was evacuated after a hole

was found in part of it.

The Oroville Dam is in northern California.

It's the tallest in America, at 230 metres, which is about the same

as 15 double decker buses stacked on top of each other.

A dam is a barrier that's built to hold back water.

It can be used to generate electricity, supply homes,

or to help stop flooding.

The Oroville Dam works by collecting rain water in a reservoir or a lake.

But there's been heavy rain and snow recently,

meaning the lake has got too full.

When something like this happens, a spillway,

which looks a bit like a huge water slide, is used

to release some of the water in a controlled way.

But the heavy rain has damaged the spillway.

It's got a big hole in it.

There were worries it could have caused a huge wall of water to fall

into the river below and flood the area.

Thousands of people were ordered to leave their homes.

Many spent the night in shelters.

They've now been told they can't return home yet.

Getting those people home is important to me.

I want that to happen as soon as possible.

But I have to be able to sleep at night

knowing that they are back in that area.

Teams have been working to fix the problem.

After draining some of the water, bags of rocks

were dropped to plug the hole.

Workers then checked the damage.

For now, the water levels in the lake have gone down

but more rain is expected in the area this week.

It's no fun being left out of your team, is it?

Just ask Sergio Aguero.

The Manchester City striker was put on the bench again last night

to make way for the new kid on the block, Gabriel Jesus.

Less than 15 minutes in, he got injured, giving

Aguero his chance to shine.

But it was Raheem Sterling who scored first!

It came instead on the far post to Raheem Sterling, and it is in

for him.

A second goal.

In the second half, Aguero appeared to put one in,

only for it to be given as an own goal to

Bournemouth's Tyrone Mings.

Either way, a 2-0 win for City which puts them into second

in the Premier League title race.

Now, I don't think Sergio Aguero would be happy if this happened

at the Etihad Stadium.

A council in Aberdeenshire in Scotland has said

sorry after making a bit of an awkward mix-up.

These trees were planted as part of the council's plan

to help boost nature in the area.

But, they ended up planting them in the middle of

a local football pitch!

Oh dear!

I wonder if they are playing tree-aside?

A different kind of sporting League is due to start later this year.

A quidditch Premier League.

Oh, yes, there are plans for a UK-wide muggles version

of the magical sport created by JK Rowling's Harry Potter books,

and try-outs for teams are already taking place.

There are no flying balls, witches and wizards or broomsticks

here, this is quiddich.

Confused?

Here are the rules.

There are three tracers and a keeper who are trying

to score with a quaffle, which is a slightly

deflated volleyball, through one of three hoops.

You can score either way through the hoop.

There are two beaters, who are fighting for control of two

of three dodgeballs.

And lastly, there's the seeker, who is trying to catch the snitch,

when the snitch is released onto the pitch at 17

minutes of game time.

This game is inspired by the sport played by Harry

and his friends in JK Rowling's Harry Potter stories.

It's now played in 25 countries all over the world.

So, what makes a good quiddich player?

The ability to laugh at yourself is always good.

You can't take it too seriously, because at the end of the day

we are running around with things between our legs.

You've got to be athletic, sometimes games can go

on for over an hour, just running up and down,

sprinting back and forth.

These guys are trying out for a new team that will be playing

in the UK's quiddich Premier League this summer.

This is a big deal, it's going to be taking the best players

across the country together to form super-teams to play each other

all throughout the summer, leading to a big event

where the champion of the quiddich Premier League will be crowned.

But why is the game so popular?

It's very open and people are extremely nice.

There's so many different positions, there's something to suit everyone.

Like, I'm not so good at the physical side of it,

I'm not clearly strong in any way.

But I have got a decent throw on me, I can throw quite hard.

With the right players, who knows, these guys just might be able

to magic up a successful season.

And finally, Newsrounders, start your engines, for another

Welcome to the lawn mower Ice Grand Prix in Finland,

where competitors race against each other to complete as many laps

of the track as possible within 12 hours riding on a giant lawn

mower, of course.

The race was held on a frozen lake this year, and temperatures

were around minus four degrees Celsius, so just a bit nippy then!
