It's Monday. I'm Martin and this is Newsround. On the way: Glasgow's on

track for the Commonwealth Games. And the Vamps answer your questions.

First, we're going to Ukraine where pro-Russian protesters have been

warned to leave government buildings they've taken over or face military

action. Demonstrators have targeted cities in eastern part of the

country over the weekend. But Russia has urged Ukraine not to use force

against the protesters. Ukraine is a country divided over whether to be

closer to Russia or to the European Union. BBC correspondent, David

Stern, is in Donetsk and says the situation is worrying. This

situation seems to be stable. It is very tense. The president said last

night they would launch a full-scale operation involving the army against

these activists and militants if they do not hand in their arms and

vacate the buildings. The question is what they are going to do and

what will be the reaction by Russia because they have warned them not to

take this action. You can find out more about what's

happening in Ukraine with our guide over on the Newsround website. Next,

to Glasgow and Commonwealth Games organisers have scrapped plans to

demolish part of a high-rise estate in Glasgow as part of the opening

ceremony. Five of the Red Road flats were to be demolished but concerns

over safety and security has stopped the decision. It's 100 days until

Glasgow puts on the biggest show Scotland has ever seen and as the

countdown continues, excitement is growing in and around the city. The

BBC's Chris McLaughlin is outside Celtic Park in Glasgow. Hey Chris,

are the preparations on track? Excitement is building but there are

a embarrassment about the decision to scrap the demolishing the flats.

In terms of the city and The Games being ready, 94% of tickets are

sold, the venues are pretty much ready on track and big names have

confirmed they will be attending in the summer. How will this make a

difference to the people of Glasgow? I think part of the legacy

always poor health levels. I think they are hoping they can leave a

The Vamps entered the charts at number two yesterday with their new

single, Last Night. They've been called the new One Direction and

life couldn't get much better for them at the moment. We caught up

with them backstage at one of their recent gigs and asked them some of

your questions. How did you become a band? About three years ago. I was

looking on the Internet. We got together and started writing songs.

Then we became a 3-piece and got a song and a record label. And then we

became The Vamps. Are you ever going to tour America? We would love to

tour America. We have just come back from a couple of states up there and

really enjoyed it. Yes, definitely. Lolly inches Chester says I Love The

Vamps, and what was your funniest moment on stage? Well... It is

always funny with Tristan because he doesn't always know what he is going

to do. Connor fell offstage and that wasn't very funny at the time but he

is fine and wasn't hurt. So we do have a bit of a laugh when we watch
