You've tuned in at the right time for an afternoon Newsround update.

Coming up... England footy stars of the future are heading to Wembley.

And... We speak to the new Superman swooping into cinemas this weekend.

First, the Queen's official birthday has been marked by the Trooping the

Colour ceremony in London. Members of the Royal family were at

Horseguards Parade to watch more than a thousand soldiers and horses

take part in the parade. Prince Phillip is still in hospital

recovering from his operation so wasn't able to join in the

traditional appearance on the balcony at Buckingham Palace, to

watch as the Red Arrows completed a magnificent fly-past. And as is also

tradition, awards have been handed out today to people around the

country. Step up Adele - she's got Brit Awards, Grammy's and even an

Oscar. Well now the record-breaking

superstar can add an MBE to her mantlepiece, for her services to

music. Comedian Rob Brydon and presenter Clare Balding also got

awards, as well as 28 head teachers. We've asked you who else should get

honours! Vita in Birmingham says "I think any teacher who has helped

make SATs less painful and a happier time for kids whilst being

completely calm deserves an MBE." Louise in Crewe says "I would give

Helen Skelton an MBE. She is an inspiration to many children across

the country because of all the challenges she does." Nice idea

Louise, thanks for all your comments guys.

Next - emergency services in the American state of Colorado are still

trying to contain one of the most destructive fires ever to hit the

region. 24 square miles of woodland have been burned, killing two people

and destroying 400 houses. 39,000 people are estimated to have left

their homes. A hot summer and dry conditions are being blamed for the

blaze. Wembley Stadium, the home of English football.

For many young England fans, the thought of representing their

country on the famous turf can seem a distant dream. But one schools'

footy competition has given kids the chance to do just that. Last weekend

we met school teams playing for the chance to represent England and take

on the rest of the world. It's where the next generation of

English football stars will start their careers and last weekend the

brand new St Georges Park played host the national final of the

Danone Nations Cup. 4,000 school teams entered the tournament and the

final four of Rickling, Hull PSFA, Edmund Waller and Cardinal Heenan

played for the opportunity to represent England at Wembley against

the champions from 31 other countries. Pretty excited. We get to

go to Wembley. It has no meant we are within the three teams in the

top of England. The matches were tense with all the

teams showing the skills to play Wembley. And there was plenty of

cheering from the sidelines and support and advice from a current

and former of England internationals. It is such a

fantastic opportunity for the kids. There were something tip saves.

However one team stood out above the rest. Cardinal Heenan along with

three players from Emerson School won their all of their matches to

take the cup. It is an amazing achievement. The team now go onto

represent England at Wembley in front of football legend Zinedine

Zidane on September seventh. The British and Irish Lions kept up

their unbeaten run as they prepare for next weekend's first Test

against Australia. Leigh Halfpenny scored a record 30 points as the

Lions thrashed New South Wales Waratahs by 47 points to 17. The

only downside to the match was the sight of Jamie Roberts hobbling off

with a torn hamstring 13 minutes from time.

Get your capes and shiny suits out because new superhero movie 'Man of

Steel' hits cinemas this weekend. It tells the story of Superman, right

from the very start. And as in other recent superhero reboots like Batman

and Spiderman, the actor playing the all-American hero is actually

British! Martin went to meet the man with an S on his chest.

You will give the people of Earth and ideal to strive towards. Can you

explain what this entails in the story? We wanted to tell the story

before it has never been told before in television or film before. We

wanted to give that new look which would be great for a modern

audience. The great thing is he never does, he never considers self

amazing and he has not got a big ego. He has these incredible powers

but he realises they are greatly making good things happen. It is not

an S. What should we expect to see? You see how not just getting to

helps of a man save the earth, but being a part of it. There is

something so cool about being a villain. It is very exciting when

you pick, and spend them around. It is very cool. Google's launching an

experiment to beam the internet to remote areas of the world from space

balloons. The internet giant plans to launch

30 test balloons from New Zealand to see if people can pick up 3G-like

internet speeds. Google say the balloons could one day be diverted
