But first to a new generation of robots that could help construct

buildings and even reach victims of disasters.

These kilobots are based on insects and designed to work together.

This swarm of robots can form different shapes without humans

In the animal kingdom, insects, birds and fish work as part

of a team to find food and protect each other.

These robots have been designed to do the same.

They interact with each other to form these patterns.

Each kilobot, as they're called, is the size of a penny.

To create something like this, four lead robots are placed where

The other robots communicate with these leaders to find

They can sense each other to avoid colliding, just like animals do.

There are all sorts of reasons to use these, two years ago during the

Olympics in London, it was suggested that we could use lots of tiny bomb

detecting robots, sending out swarms of robots that would be no bigger

than a small toy car, or if you were at a music festival, you could have

these robots following around the largest groups of people and making

sure that they all had plenty of Internet access so everyone could

upload their pictures and Internet videos.

These robots could one day be sent into dangerous situations

like a natural disaster, searching for survivors,

or much further into space, looking for life on another planet.

Next, the Premier League says it's cracking down on fans who film footy

highlights on their phones and upload them online.

League bosses are warning people that sharing clips

from live matches, or footage from games on TV, is illegal.

Loads of clips were shared on social media during the World Cup

but the Premier League says that breaks rights rules.

The move's been criticised by some fans.

Frankly, ordinary fans videoing a moment of

excitement or some other point of interest and putting it on YouTube

or whatever is not a threat to the Premier League's media rights.

Let's relax a bit, let's recognise that social media has altered the

world, and that what ordinary fans is simply doing is trying to promote

A day before the start of the Premier League season,
