Typhoon Rammasun, the strongest storm to hit

the country this year, tore down trees and knocked out power lines.

Schools are shut and around half a million people have

been forced out of their homes, into special shelters.

It's now moving towards the Chinese island of Hainan.

It's less than a year since the Philippines was hit by one of

the strongest storms ever - Typhoon Haiyan, and many people there are

still trying to rebuild their lives after whole towns were flattened.

Next up - a dress made entirely from loom bands has sold in an online

Now that would look cool at the end-of-term party!

There were more than 100 bids for the dress.

It's worn here by 12-year-old Sian from Prestatyn in Wales.

It was her mum Helen who helped make it, in just three and a half weeks.

Basically she just made one very long strand of the loom band and we

used one of my daughter's dresses as a template and we just kind of

laid the looms onto the dress and sewed it all together with elastic.

We spent approximately ?47 actually buying the loom itself and all

We're not going to really believe it until it is paid.

That is so cool. I wonder if they do it in my size.

However you raised money for Children in Need last year,

you'll be pleased to hear that your donations are spent throughout

the year to help fund over 2,500 projects.

That is what is great about this place, it is open to all

because I didn't use to be confident and I used to be really shy.

There is a kind of magic to it in that it draws out of the children
