with the headlines you need to start your week. A dinosaur discovered in

a school playground. Find out which planet has got smaller.

First, Crimea's Parliament is to send an official request to become

part of Russia after people in the region voted to leave Ukraine. More

than 95% of people who voted backed joining Russia but the vote has been

called illegal by the government in Ukraine's capital Kiev and by

countries like the United States. President Obama says America will

never recognise the result of the vote and world leaders will meet

today to discuss their relationship with Russia and how they will deal

with the country in the future. And for lots more information about

Next up, air pollution in the French capital, Paris has become so bad

that half of all cars will be banned from the roads today. The government

are trying to reduce the pollution levels in the city. Only cars with

odd-numbered registrations will be allowed to drive, and even-numbered

cars will be allowed to take to the roads tomorrow, until the situation

improves. Next, they roamed the earth for 160

million years, but I bet you'd never think there could be a dinosaur

buried beneath your classroom floor. Well, for a group of school kids in

West Sussex, that's exactly what happened. And now they've starting

their own archaeological dig in the school playground. So we sent Nel to

dig around. Imagine the surprise when a

chemistry teacher found dinosaur remains on the school site, thought

to be over 140 million years old. I didn't really realise until I came

down in June, we were doing a Geo Trail with the students and found a

pile of rocks with lots of fossils. That was absolutely mind blowing.

Why get the kids involved? It is right on our doorstep, you couldn't

ask for a better science lab. Once the discovery was made because good

way to get digging. Have you found any dinosaurs? No. We have found

something, Tomic about that? -- tell me about that. It has got a leaflet

inside which is millions of years old. We found some fish scales,

daredevil teeth and bones. -- dinosaur teeth. It is amazing we

have uncovered these. Why is it discovery like this so important?

The very first dinosaurs were found in a quarry near here so it is a

really historically important area. The whole area has been covered up

by buildings, towns, cities and unfortunately we cannot get them any

more so to find them here at the school is a fantastic thing, it

allows us unprecedented view. This is set to continue for a few more

months and the kids at the school and the local community will be

getting stuck on in the hope they will find even more treasures. Come,

a long way to go. Last night saw the Sochi 2014 Winter

Paralympics come to a close with a spectacular closing ceremony.

Britain finished the games with six medals, the best medal haul since

1984. Four of the medals were won by Jade Etherington, who carried the

The title race in the Premier League got very interesting after wins for

Arsenal and Liverpool yesterday with both teams now only four points

behind leaders Chelsea with a game in hand. Liverpool put three past

Man United, Steven Gerrard scoring two penalties and missing a third

before Luis Suarez sealed the win just before full-time. After the

game Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard sent out this message to his

teams rivals. We are in the title race. Before

today's game there was a big question hanging over us, are they

good enough to beat Manchester United and prove to everybody and

make a statement they are genuine title contenders, and we are, we

will give it everything we have got to try and win it.

And in Scotland Aberdeen beat Inverness Caledonian Thistle on

penalties to win the Scottish League Cup. The trophy was Aberdeen's first

piece of silverware in almost 20 years.

Nasa's messenger spacecraft has discovered mercury has shrunk since

it first formed. The planet has reduced in size by for another half

miles from centre to the surface, with one theory is that it might

have formed further out in the solar system before drifting to the sun
