Hi, I'm Ricky with Sunday's Newsround.

Coming up in the next few minutes...

The fake birds being used to attract puffins back to the Isle of Man.

And we take a look at the new Jungle Book film.

You're with Newsround this Sunday afternoon.

First, a state of emergency has been declared in parts of the South

American country of Ecuador.

It's because of a powerful earthquake

in the country last night.

At least 77 people have been killed.

The quake is the country's largest since in almost 30 years.

Emergency services are working hard to help hundreds of people

who have been injured.

The remains of two First World War German destroyers have been found

under the sea near Portsmouth in the south of England.

This 30 metre long destroyer has been found lying just 10 metres

from the remains of a second German ship from the Great War.

Using 3D imagery, experts were able to identify precisely which ships

they are and match them with naval records from a battle

almost 100 years ago.

Hundreds of model puffins are being used to attract the real

birds back to the Isle of Man.

Life-like fake birds and a sound system playing puffin calls have

been placed on cliffs on a small island off the coast to encourage

the birds to breed there.

Look closely and there's something fishy about this, er,

well, puffin, actually.

We're planting puffins.

The trust has set up a project to encourage puffins to nest back

here, so today we're setting up the sound system

and deploying the decoy puffins.

It's hoped these models will help persuade the real

thing to nest here.

Puffins were last here back in the 1980s and were scared off

because of rats eating their eggs and spreading disease.

It's not the first time this tactic has been tried and tested.

Two years ago we reported on a similar trial on Ramsey Island

in Wales, where puffins were being seen on the far rocky

outreaches of the island.

They managed to introduce puffins after about a four or five years,

having never had puffins breed there before, so it seemed a great

way to see if we could get them back here.

So the team here have arrived to set up a new colony on an island that's

only accessible by boat.

This is a long-term project, the results of which we are unlikely

to see straightaway.

But if these phoney puffins do their bit, this is hopefully

what we will see on the grassy clifftops in years to come.

Footy now and Aston Villa are the first club to be relegated

from the Premier League this season.

Villa suffered a 1-0 loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford

thanks to this strike from Marcus Rashford.

Elsewhere Sunderland closed the gap on relegation rivals Norwich

with a 3-0 win against the Canaries.

And at the top of the table, Manchester City leapfrogged Arsenal

into third spot with a 3-0 win against Chelsea courtesy of a hat

trick from Sergio Aguero.

Now get ready to hang with the King of the Swingers and learn

about the Bare Necessities of Life, because the Jungle Book is back.

But this time the cartoon classic has been brought

to life with live action.

I went to meet the 12-year-old actor who plays Mowgli.

Now, you're 12 years old, you were ten when you started

to film the Jungle Book.

Being here in the UK, are you here with your family?

We just saw your dad outside.

Are you enjoying London?

Mmm-hmm.

I'm here with my mum and dad, my sister's in college.

And you went on the London Eye yesterday?

Mmm-hmm.

What was that like?

Lots of fun, it was crazy.

Like, when we were all the way on top I took a Panorama,

all I got was, like, the guys in front of me.

It was kind of funny.

Now, we've been asking for kids to send in questions all week...

Oh, that's cool.

And we've got loads.

So I'm going to kick off with Emily, who's nine.

She's from Stevenage.

She says, "Did you like getting muddy on set?"

That was my worst favourite part, actually.

Was it?

Yes.

Good job, Emily!

It would dry all over my skin and they would have to spritz it

with cold water for it to get all, like, muddy again, and it was really

itchy and disgusting.

I didn't like it at all.

Julia says, "What's it like acting when the other

characters are all animated?"

Because there's a lot of green screen,

isn't there?

Yes.

You don't actually get to act

with these animals?

Yes.

So it was actually just puppets that I was interacting with,

and that made it very easy for me.

At least it wasn't like nothing or a tennis ball.

And so that made it, like, very...

And it was actually fun.

Talking to puppets and stuff all day.

Did the puppets look, like, cool and realistic?

Yeah, they did.

And I just, like, imagined that it was a bear or

a panther or a tiger.

Rebecca, who is 12, says, "What was the most amazing

thing about filming the new Jungle Book film?"

Apart from the mud!

I really liked going in the water tank with Baloo,

because it was a real water tank and I was actually

swimming, and it was cool.

It was just a lump of Styrofoam with the brown carpet

on top that I was, just, like, swimming with.

And John got into the water...

You had to stroke the brown carpet?

Yeah!

And John got into the water and there's this one scene

when Baloo splashes me, so he had a hose in his back pocket

and just took me out and hosed me, and I didn't know he was going to do

that, and I got the perfect reaction and they used

that in the film.

So cool.

And wrapping up the sport, how about the world's

fastest hole in golf?

France's team of Raphael Jacquelin, Alex Levy, Gregory Havret

and Romain Wattel set a new world record of 34.8 seconds to complete

a 500-yard hole as a relay.
