I'm Jenny, live with all the top stories this Wednesday.

:00:00.:00:07.

Nasa launches a super balloon to the edge of space.

:00:08.:00:13.

The meteor caught on camera, and the man cresting the waves

:00:14.:00:17.

and wowing the crowds with this amazing surf stunt.

:00:18.:00:29.

First up, today the Queen has given an important speech in Parliament.

:00:30.:00:33.

It's a yearly tradition for her to announce what the government

:00:34.:00:36.

The speech included plans to make sure everyone has a fast

:00:37.:00:41.

internet connection, and ways to encourage investment

:00:42.:00:44.

in new technologies, like driverless cars

:00:45.:00:46.

And to find out more about the tradition of the queen's

:00:47.:00:56.

speech, go online - you can also find out

:00:57.:00:58.

what makes a good location for a space port

:00:59.:01:00.

and how magnets could change the way we travel in the future.

:01:01.:01:03.

The International Space Station has been circling our planet since 1998.

:01:04.:01:06.

This week it achieved a truly epic milestone.

:01:07.:01:08.

The International Space Station has passed its 100,000th

:01:09.:01:13.

It's travelled more than 2.6 billion miles.

:01:14.:01:24.

That's about the same distance as ten trips from Earth to Mars.

:01:25.:01:29.

The ISS is home to six people, who circle the Earth every 90

:01:30.:01:33.

minutes, and get to enjoy a spectacular sunrise

:01:34.:01:35.

And it's been part of 1,922 scientific investigations.

:01:36.:01:46.

It's been 15 and a half years of continuous human presence

:01:47.:01:49.

Over 220 astronauts and cosmonauts from 18 different countries have

:01:50.:01:54.

The Space Station travels at around five miles per second,

:01:55.:02:01.

Pretty fast for something that's 357 feet long.

:02:02.:02:06.

That's about the same length as a football pitch.

:02:07.:02:10.

The ISS probably won't reach 200,000 orbits before it's retired,

:02:11.:02:14.

but for now, this spacecraft has some more cruising to do.

:02:15.:02:19.

It's a tribute to the teams that designed it, that put it together;

:02:20.:02:23.

the programmes that keep us flying safe.

:02:24.:02:27.

Sticking with space, and Nasa have successfully launched

:02:28.:02:35.

a super pressure balloon, from New Zealand.

:02:36.:02:38.

532,000 cubic metres, and will carry out

:02:39.:02:42.

Scientists say the balloon will circle the globe once

:02:43.:02:48.

every one to three weeks, and will even be visible

:02:49.:02:50.

The aim is for it to stay in the air for more than 100 days.

:02:51.:03:02.

It is almost a textbook launch. It was very nice. The winds cooperated.

:03:03.:03:11.

It blew down the runway as we expected and was spot-on.

:03:12.:03:12.

Football now and Liverpool are fighting for the Europa League

:03:13.:03:14.

They're taking on defending champions Sevilla in the final

:03:15.:03:17.

We asked Liverpool fans to tell us what a win would mean for them.

:03:18.:03:22.

I'll be really happy if Liverpool win.

:03:23.:03:25.

I think the score will be 4-1 to Liverpool.

:03:26.:03:27.

It would be an awesome win and I think they'll

:03:28.:03:32.

And Class 6 at St William of York Catholic Primary School

:03:33.:03:37.

sent in their thoughts, here's a couple.

:03:38.:03:39.

Paige says, It would mean the world to me

:03:40.:03:41.

and Frankie would be willing to redo SATs if it meant

:03:42.:03:46.

Thanks so much for all those comments.

:03:47.:03:51.

Next, they're loud, they're large and living in people's back gardens.

:03:52.:03:53.

These peacocks are on the the move in Suffolk

:03:54.:03:58.

The birds have damaged plants, cars and woken people up

:03:59.:04:01.

No one seems to know where they came from.

:04:02.:04:06.

A local farmer has offered to take them in, but catching the peacocks

:04:07.:04:09.

to re-home them is proving to be very difficult.

:04:10.:04:14.

A US police sergeant looking for speeders captured something

:04:15.:04:16.

What looked like a giant fireball streaking

:04:17.:04:22.

across the sky was caught on Sargent Tim Farris'

:04:23.:04:25.

The bright flash was seen from several states and is thought

:04:26.:04:31.

to have been left by a meteor burning up as it passed

:04:32.:04:34.

Next up, to the coolest surfer around and the trickiest of tricks?

:04:35.:04:40.

22-year-old former world champion Gabriel Medina wowed judges

:04:41.:04:44.

by doing - watch this - a backflip whilst competing in the Oi Rio Pro

:04:45.:04:51.

It's the first time a surfer has ever landed a backflip in a

:04:52.:04:58.

That's all from the team today, but Newsround's back,

:04:59.:05:02.
