more than 50 million pounds.

Highlights of the programme included

Since 1980 the appeal has

raised over £900 million.

OK, time for a quick

round-up of some of the big

sport stories today...

Chris Coleman has left his job

as manager of Wales,

he's taking over at Sunderland

who are in last place

in the Championship.

Former Wales and Manchester United

Captain Ryan Giggs is the favourite

to become the next Wales manager.

The big game in the

Premier League today

is the North London derby -

Arsenal against Tottenham,

in the lunchtime kick-off.

Arsenal will be hoping to catch up

with their London rivals -

they're sixth and Tottenham

are in third place.

Donald Trump has pressed pause

on a plan to allow people

to bring elephant remains back

to the USA as souvenirs

of hunting trips, just a day

after he brought it in.

The US President was planning

to scrap a ban set up

in 2014 to protect endangered

species in Zambia and Zimbabwe.

But on social media late last

night he said the change

was on hold until he could look

at all the conservation facts.
