The other top sporting event that happened in Rio.

The Paralympic Games in Rio have come to an end,

with a colourful and musical closing ceremony last night.

ParalympicsGB finished with a massive 147 medals,

putting them second in the medal table behind China.

Martin sent us this final round-up from Brazil.

The real Paralympics finished how it started, with a closing ceremony

packed full of colour, music and dancing. It has been a truly special

games for Great Britain, who won 64 gold medals, the most won by a

British team Saint 1988. Edwina Cox carried the British flag at the

ceremony, capping off a fantastic Olympics where she won gold in

athletics and cycling. After a rocky build-up to the games, organisers

said the ceremony was a final chance to celebrate Rio de Janeiro. 80,000

people inside the famous Maracana Stadium also held silence to

remember the life of an Iranian cyclist who passed away during a

race at the games. All that was left to do was handover to Tokyo and

Japan, hosts the next games in 2020. So there you have it, the reopening

the games has come to an end and it has been amazing. I have seen great

sporting moments, met some of the world's best athletes but for me the

true star of these games has been the people of radio that really made

design them yourself. That's what three girls from Swansea

in Wales are having a go at. These kids in Swansea have been

designing their dream classrooms, but the buildings are

a little bit different to what you They are made to be as energy

efficient and as kind So what do they think

architects should be This is made out of

plastic packaging. At the top of the house

we have a wind turbine to be more It's really important

to have solar panels, they take energy from the sun

so it doesn't affect We think it will make it

kinder by helping the environment if it's more

green and it looks nicer. Now they have come to

Swansea University where a team are trying to make real

classrooms for the future. And it seems like the girls have

been thinking along the The classroom is designed

to be energy positive so doesn't have to buy electricity,

it has solar panels instead. The whole room will be covered

with the solar panels which will generate

electricity from the sun and that The whole of one

of the walls would be covered with this living wall,

planted with beautiful green plants, which will not only help insulate

the wall but also improve the wildlife

and absorb pollutants from the air. Although it's taking

a while to finish it looks like future classrooms might not be

so different from the girls designs. Last up this morning,
